    I was able to make reservations 3 times. The first time I got there the vehicle was late coming back. The driver before me pulled up, " saying sorry". Then the next time I reserved, I had to have that car back at 8 am and grab another. Unfortunately, the windows of two of the vehicles were busted out. So, they couldn't give me another vehicle. I was late to a meeting I had to attend. Then my last two reservations I waited for the vehicle to arrive. The young lady never showed up. She kept there vehicle. When I called after an hour of waiting, the young lady told the operator, "well someone did the same to me" I was so shocked I just gave up and probably won't use the service again. It's totally a hit or miss with the vehicles.

    I'm an avid fan of Boston start-ups and entrepreneurs. Boston really produces the best of the best. But zipcar is one company I'd love to see go the way of Theranos. I booked a zipcar on 9/15 for an important event in Boston, I reside in Florida but am from Boston. Seemed simple enough. While I'm on the plan almost in Boston, they email me that my car has been reassigned to a Crv. I didn't mind, it seemed like an upgrade to me. And an hour later, they cancelled the entire booking because of mechanical issues. Huh? Why happened to the car I originally chose? And why would you assign a car before inspecting it? So there I was at Logan absolutely pissed. And worse yet, stranded. There are no rental cars available at the airport, there's no Uber cars to rent, I check surrounding rental car places, there's not a single car in boston available to rent. I call zipcar and basically got "our bad sorry", and same response via email. This company is an abject failure and disgrace. There's no remedy for my situation other than following through on what I paid you in advance to do. Your irredeemable actions ruined a lot of people's weekend. I want to see this company crushed to nothing. Not new leadership, not vouchers or credits...no, I want this company to cease from existence. I want the leadership of this company to never be at the helm of any company ever. That's exactly what would bring me joy right now. You absolute cluster of an organization. Get bent. I've attached photos, please look at the dates. If Zipcar gets brave enough to gaslight me in response to this post, I'll edit it to include the photos of the response of zipcar not giving the slight crap about the aforementioned issues. Use Turo. Use enterprise. Use Uber rentals. Screw Zipcar into the abyss where it belongs.

    Wipers were bad, needed an oil change, tires low, and check engine light on with hard start.

    Very easy to rent, clean and full of gas, and I could easily walk to it from home. Very new model of Kia, a maker I really like.

    Overall clean cars and easy to use. I don't have anythimg negative to say about the service. Lastly it's affordable for anyone on a budget.

    Zipcar continues to get worse. I've been a member for 20 years; at this point they have pretty much abandoned customer service.

    I am a Zip Car member and I just want to know if the prices have increased because I am no longer seeing vehicles starting at 7.00 an hour and when I did call customer service, they were of no help?

    I was just saying this yesterday. When I first started my membership, I could get a car for 24 hours for about $47. Now it's $47 for 3 hours smh and they have all these extra fees now. For 1 hour of a car at $12.25, my total was $23.08. After a good… 

    1.Can you use a MasterCard Debit card Or does it have to be a Major Credit Card? 2. Do you have to wait the first time to have the Zip Card mailed to you Or you can pick up when you get the first car? Thanks

    You can use a debit card,it does not have to be a major credit card and yes, you do have to wait until the card is mailed to you.

The owners son who did the work also said the "credit card machine is broken" and it was cash only. She refused to pay - the owner got involved, admitted they should've checked with her before doing the extra work, and then still charged her $150. They charged her card, so the whole broken card machine was bullshit obviously. When she still objected to $150 for an oil change, the owner started screaming at her. They called her a "STUPID CUNT" TO HER FACE. Complete verbal abuse!! A police report was filed against them for verbal assault. DO NOT GIVE THESE SCUMBAGS YOUR BUISNESS. They scam customers, do work that's not approved, and are incredibly rude and verbally abusive if you don't just give into their scam. Reading other reviews, this is not the first time this sort of situation has happened either. DON'T GO HERE!!!!!

There were no tire shops open, and even the car dealerships were closed and inaccessible. My insurance roadside assistance had no choice but to tow my car back to the apartment where I was staying in Quincy. I assumed I'd have to wait until the next morning, have my car towed again to a dealership, and pay a fortune for the repair. Thankfully, my husband searched online and found On The Way Express. What an incredible find! They responded immediately and came directly to me that same night. Within about 10-15 minutes, my flat tire was repaired, and I didn't have to deal with another tow or wait until morning. Not only was the service incredibly fast, but it was also far more affordable than what I would have paid at a dealership. What impressed me the most, though, was how safe and comfortable they made me feel. It was late, very dark, and I was alone in an unfamiliar place. The mechanic was so kind, respectful, and comforting from the moment he arrived. He explained the repair process, taught me a few things about tires, and made sure I felt completely at ease. It's rare to find a company that combines speed, affordability, expertise, and genuine care for its customers. They turned what could have been an expensive, stressful ordeal into a quick and positive experience. If you're ever stranded in the Boston or Quincy area, don't hesitate to call On The Way Express.
