We sat, ordered drinks along with the food when we got there. After we realized the people around us that arrived significantly later were already paying to leave, we got up to ask about our food as it had easily been 40 minutes. That is not how you manage or take ownership. As a manager myself, you take care of the person full on through to try and turn the situation around.
