Wow! I wasn't expecting much when I arrived. There was only 1 car in the parking lot. I usually go to restaurants where there are more cars which usually means the food is good. The restaurant got busier after we sat at our table. The restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside. The inside isn't much either. But the food and service was TOTALLY EXCEPTIONAL! We ordered some pot stickers and roll appetizers. They were very good. I ordered the "C4 Panang" with shrimp. The one word to describe this dish is "AMAZING!" The flavors were deep and complex. I thoroughly enjoyed every bit. The service was also excellent. My son ordered a dish with "Fried Snapper" which he enjoyed very much. I consider my son an expert in Thai food since he's been to Thailand and lived in England where the cuisine is heavily influenced by India and Thailand. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals. Our waitperson checked on our table often but not overly intruding into our table's conversation. And the "Fried Ice Cream" and "Mango Rice" were unique and excellent endings to a great meal. I got another 5 off $20 coupon and Mr R wasn't flying out until the afternoon, so we grabbed brunch here to go. Migas plate has enough to make three pretty fat tacos. The new onions and peppers as well as eggs tasted fresher than most breakfast places. Still love their middle-ground salsa. Avocado toast benedict is Mr R's new favorite, (beating out their carnitas in his opinion and even after eating most of a tub of Fuego's good guacamole this weekend). I think it's absolutely wonderful, the only drawback being one of the soft eggs had leaked beautiful golden yolk but the base of toast and fried potatoes did a good job soaking it up. Enjoyable balance of rich and fresh, beautiful colors, filling without being sleep-inducing. It's more expensive than drive-through sausage biscuits or a taco stand and there's a wait if you don't call in your order ahead, but there is some tasty stuff here made with decent ingredients and presented well. Once again, it would have been worth the price without the coupon and I understand why this parking lot was busy after church hours. We'll definitely be back. read more

This was our first visit to this local joint. We came in for lunch on a Saturday and I ordered the Rueben with a side salad. My wife ordered the BLT. To set the stage, we had been running errands on a hot and humid Texas day (90 degrees in May). We were hungry. We both got teas to drink. The food arrived reasonably quick. No complaints. The salad was fresh. The ranch dressing was little more runny than I prefer but the taste was fine. Once again, no complaints. The staff were nice and attentive. There were 3 other tables besides ours. The Rueben worked. There was a good portion of meat. Overall this was a nice experience. I recommend it! read more

Before the gun show in San Marcos we wanted to stop by somewhere to grab I bite to eat. I wanted to try somewhere healthy since I was on a diet and stumbled upon this hole in the wall. Once we arrived, it was easy to find since it was in the corner and parking was decent. Once we stepped inside, we were quickly greeted, received our menu's and seated. Housed in what looks like an industrial site, inside is a cute little restaurant with lovely, friendly servers. They focus on simple and healthier dishes that are very competitively priced! Great quaint spot for brunch. Second time eating at this establishment (first time was exactly one year ago). The food is really good. I ordered the breakfast plate with scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon and English muffin. Other items ordered in my party were pancakes, fritatta, breakfast burritos and breakfast tacos. All were delicious! Just as I remembered from the first visit. The server was delightful. The food comes out a little slow but was worth the wait. There is a speaker in the corner of the restaurant that looks like a jukebox. Music plays while you eat. They offer coffee, tea, juice, lemonade and, for brunch, mimosas. Yelp did us another solid for lunch today. This little gem is a home run. Let me start by saying, trendy and flavorful. A wonderful combination. We tried the the following. 1. Philly Cheese cake 2. Garden Bowl 2. Avocado Benedict. The Philly cheesesteak was delicious but the highlight was the Avocado Benedict with a side of potatoes. Talk about Devine. Other worldly goodness. The potatoes are the best I've had. The Garden Bowl was tasty. It was served warm which through me off as I thought I was ordering a salad. This place is a must try. I'm usually in town for a conference once or twice a year and you can bet on me coming back, sooner rather than later. My wonderful spouse suggested this place, and we got the carnitas Benedict, the vegan taco, and the bacon, egg, and cheese taco. To top it off, I got a cup of coffee and a blueberry muffin (since they they were out of the cinnamon streusel). I got it to go, but inside, the ambiance was lovely, perfect for meeting friends for brunch. There is likewise a lovely patio, although fence notwithstanding, the restaurant *is* on a highway. The carnitas Benedict were amazing, blending the runny goodness of a poached egg with the smokey pork goodness of carnitas. The bacon, egg, and cheese taco was just what it announces and tasty. The vegan taco of black beans, potato, and cilantro was also very good. The blueberry muffin was great because it had a wonderful creamy sweetness balanced against the slight tartness of the blueberries. The food took about 15 minutes to come out. Overall it was a good sandwich that has lots of flavor. I substituted chip for potato. The potatoes were good. They weren't seasoned well but with ketchup and hot sauce , it's alright. The only issue I had was the workers were a little absent and my food came out and sat for about 5-10 additional minutes. Loved that we stumbled upon this place driving to San Antonio from Buda! Thank you, Yelp! It's a really small place, but it has lots of great options on the menu. It has lots of vegetarian options and has a great kids menu as well. The iced cold brew coffee was really delicious. I had the egg, white vegetable frittata, and it was amazing. The portion is really big! Beware! Come hungry! My husband and I also shared a vegan taco. The potatoes in it were outstanding. my husband also had other tacos that were really delicious. So... I'm pretty conflicted as I write this. Let me start by saying that what I'm eating right now, IS tasty... BUT, it's definitely not as described on the menu. I ordered to-go from inside the store. I got the Garden Bowl and added steak. I will say, it was my assumption, given the listed ingredients, that this was served cold. It is not. It is a warm bowl, which is fine but ultimately not what I was looking for. The steak is more like a thin flank steak, but it is seasoned well and is tender. It's good. I asked for my bowl to have no red peppers and it was prepared correctly. So what's wrong? Well, I'm missing the quinoa, I'm missing the chickpeas, I'm missing the sesame seeds. Half the ingredients are warm and half are cold (the onion, avocado and cucumber). It came with a dressing to put on there... I'm just not sure what is going on here. The sautéed Arugula is weird and to be honest some of the ingredients seem frozen and canned. This dish, with big pieces of charred broccoli, and corn and blistered tomatoes, that had been chilled, with the freshness of everything else being cold and the dressing, would be amazing. What I received fell really really short. And while the steak was good, I would expect about two more slices for +6 dollars I paid to add on. That made this an almost $20 for a incomplete dish. All this to say, I will go back and give them another try. My daughter got a meal replacement shake and she said it was really good. read more

Pancake was pretty good size for a kids plate, the pesto sandwich had tons of flavor. The service was simple and easy, you order at the front and sit yourself and grab your own drink (unless it's a soda or tea etc.) They were also very helpful with ordering the meal prep options, which tasted VERY great. We came to this restaurant for lunch wanting some good healthy food and were excited by the look of the menu. However, when we arrived and sat down I immediately noticed an overwhelming smell of something I immediately recognized as cat food, no idea where it was coming from but it was strong! Ordered the pesto chicken sandwich, roasted potatoes, and a smoothie. The smoothie was pretty decent but incredibly expensive for some reason.. the potatoes were fine, just not very well seasoned, very bland. The sandwich however, is where I was disappointed. The chicken was one big block dry of chicken inside that for some reason tasted strongly like fish? It may have been the overwhelming smell of catfood messing with my senses but it definitely was strange. The pesto was also the equivalent of seasoned olive oil, not in the slightest an actual pesto. I don't usually write reviews but this was so disappointing I had to write one, and this terrible sandwich was $12??? I could get a whole pasta from an Italian restaurant for that price... just very disappointing. This isnt even to mention the fact the Arnold palmer is lemonade powder mixed with poorly brewed tea. First of all, the food is excellent. Absolutely no issues there. Staff is very courteous as well. I give them 3 stars because of the guilt trip tipping where they flip the screen around and request a tip. Not a fan of this at all. If I stand up to order and pick up my food then no tip is deserved IMO so I didn't. At least you go through this rigamarole after you have your order. read more

At first I thought the breakfast sandwich was a bit pricey at $11, but when it was served it was pretty large and came with potatoes.
