The staff was kind. All of the gentleman working were very helpful & customer service driven. We were in and out within 40 minutes. Our return was a cakewalk. In fact, Chris Morris was amazing. They always greet you upon entry and not your typical, "Hey ya doing? greeting" - a nice warm greeting asking about your day and how they can genuinely help you. They also offered water while we were waiting & honestly, there was little to no wait whatsoever upon handing over the keys, and getting a quick inspection of the vehicle. The F150 Ford truck we rented ran fabulously and was in perfect condition - zero issues. We would certainly do it again. We would highly recommend this location for their customer service and we'll definitely rent from them again based on our experience with Chris and the team on E 6th Ave in Aurora, CO! 5-stars

Our insurance policy covers rentals so we have no need to do that. I didn't have our insurance policy number with me when I got to their office however, so I had to call my agent. Don't make that mistake. I was thankful it was during office hours! My husband and I laughed later about the car rental agent who tried to talk me into a bigger vehicle. She didn't think the Nissan we rented was big enough for 2. It was actually big enough for 5. We were allowed to extend our rentals longer, with no problem. After we extended it, our relatives were visiting offered us the use of their car so Routes gave us a full refund for the days we didn't use when we returned it early. The person at the desk said to bring it back at 1/2 tank. Ok, no problem. When I got to the vehicle, the gas gauge read below a quarter of a tank. The odometer read 15057. I took a photo of the dash noting the gauge and mileage. I went to the check out gate, the attendant took photos as well of the dash and noted,"Wow, only 69 miles worth of gas in the tank" (as also indicated in the dash) "There's a gas station just down the road." She said no worries, we'll note the discrepancy for when you return the vehicle. I finished my trip, returned the car with just a bit less than 1/2 of a tank and left. About an hour later I got my invoice via email and they charged me a fuel charge because I brought it back with less gas than I started with. I replied to the email with the pictures I took of the dash and the inspection sheet I filled out indicating that the tank was near empty. I also told them that their gate attendant took pictures and noted the discrepancy for my rental file. They refuse to refund me for the gas they charged me for. These people are corrupt, DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.

When we arrived, what I reserved wasn't available, reservation plans totally changed (that was my fault btw) and we had to wait BUT..... Madison and Reed Arao (he had black hair and looks similar to Chris hemsworth) did everything possible to make it right. They are the epitome of customer service and they deserve a raise! They handled my parents and I with extensive patience and understanding, and really made us feel like we were in great hands and never gave us the feeling we were a burden. I could write a book of how amazing those two were. ESPECIALLY REED ARAO - he deserves higher wages cos you have a gem in this one!! When we returned the car (I forget the guys name. I think his name is Tyler but he supposedly is one of the mangagers - he's blonde and clean shaven) went out of his way to pester my dad about being late by 20 minutes after 1.) we informed the office we'd be driving back from pagosa springs (a 5-6 hr drive) and made an agreement there would be a grace period, 2,) he gave us the impression he was on power trip - really rigid all business type. TOTAL SCAM ARTIST!!!…read more i rented a car from them and the rep joked with me saying "yea its super impotant to make sure you check your tires before you bring it back theyll ding you for it" super nice guy except the car i rented had a bubble on the tire.. 1 thats extremely dangerous and not road legal yet they still rented it to me and 2 when i returned it they ended up charging me for the tire. now if you know anything about cars bubbles arent random and occur from internal damage ( driving while flat, internal abrasions, or a flat out accident) none of these occured in my care. long story short they beg for our service but then do shady stuff like this. when i tried to argue it i was put on hold for half an hour then hung up on . told the internet was down call back in the evening, then flat out "i wasnt here call the number on the letter we sent you 2 weeks ago". its been 6 weeks nothing has been resolved in fact they told me to send pictures of the damages before i rented it like i didnt pick it up on a snow day. i still dont know what tire or where but i do know it has nothing to do with me i just paid for it.... 10/10 i highly dont recommend. just go with turo and save the headache dealing with scammers

This amount is not only unreasonable, but it also feels like a blatant attempt to take advantage of customers. My vehicle was returned in good condition, with no more than the usual amount of dirt and debris one might expect after a rental period. To my shock, however, I was slapped with a $450 cleaning fee, a charge that seems utterly disproportionate and unjustified. I have rented from various companies over the years and have never encountered such an exorbitant fee for routine cleaning. It is my belief that this charge is a deliberate tactic to inflate the final bill, preying on unsuspecting customers who trust in Avis's reputation. This experience has greatly diminished my trust in your company, and I feel compelled to warn others about this practice. Such hidden fees erode customer loyalty and drive business away, which is counterproductive in the long run. I urge Avis to reconsider these practices and implement fair and transparent pricing. I am requesting a full review of my case and a refund of the cleaning fee charged to my account. Failing that, I will be left with no choice but to take my business elsewhere and share my negative experience with others: 60 Minutes, MSNBC, CNBC, NBC, FOX, ABC, CBS, Local media viewers to prevent them from falling victim to similar tactics.
