Garlic naan and biryani - spice level 4
    Ebony P.

First of all, the space is beautiful- they did an excellent job decorating. The music is such a vibe - whoever is in charge of the aux cord needs to share their playlist! My friend and I sat at the bar and the bartenders were super friendly. Definitely make a reservation because they are busy! I ordered the garlic naan and biryani. I did a spice level 4 - it was spot on! So good and spicy. I will definitely be coming back very soon to try some other items on the menu.

A terrific new option for Pleasant Ridgers and all Cincinnati. My fam and I ate at Ziqr for Easter. My husband and I shared the Elements of Tandor. It was definitely large enough for the two of us with some left for lunch! I loved the tandoori paneer pieces- so beautifully marinated and creamy! I would say, the chicken and paneer were the best parts of that dish, so I'd probably go with one of those next time instead of the full variety. My daughter had the Chef's Traditional Sampler for her meal. It was plenty filling and every element was fresh. Finally, we shared the Nest of Gulab for dessert. The nest was a neat idea but not a tasty as the Gulab. Again, a place where I'd order more simply next time. Service was uneven. Quite slow and seemingly not very experienced. Ambiance is lovely and felt special. I'm so glad to have this spot in my neighborhood and will be back!

Wow. The service, the ambiance and the food were all top notch! I hate to compare, but the food was by far miles better than the new upscale Indian restaurant downtown. This is what I wanted that other restaurant to be like, and we're lucky that Ziqr opened down the street from us, so we don't have to far for absolutely delicious food. The only complaint came from my husband who noticed that it tasted like heavy cream in the Tikka instead of coconut milk. He could be wrong, I didn't try it because I am extremely lactose intolerant and didn't want to chance him being right, hahaha!

Or you can be seated at a table in a large open dining area. Very community conscious with a ramp for wheelchair to get from main hostess area to the dining area. I was seated right away. Being visitor from VA Beach, I asked what's the recommended dish, the server suggested omelette. But I wasn't in the mood for omelette so I saw shakshuka. I tried their Green Goddess version that has spinach (instead of tomato sauce) and feta. The food is a solid 3. I also ordered the Dubai Chocolate latte. It was a 3 as you taste more the milk than the chocolate syrup. I also got their chocolate chip banana bread.

It was tough to have a conversation across the table. The food was a mixed bag. We enjoyed the French toast and bagels, and the mujadara had good flavor - a smidge dry. The tuna, which was supposed to be medium-rare, was overcooked and dry. The service was subpar. While a staff member (manager on call?) cleaned a table next to us, she accidentally sprayed one of us and their food with cleaning solution. We mentioned it to her and she apologized with no offer to replace the food. Our waiter was kind enough to agree to replace the food at our request. The previous staff member who sprayed us brought out the replacement food and rudely served it to us with attitude and without utensils. We had to flag another waiter down for utensils. Mistakes happen but the handling of this situation left a sour note on our celebratory brunch. We expected better service etiquette from Cafe Alma but left really disappointed. I hope management reviews how incidents like this are handled in the future.

We ordered our drinks and food. While we sat outside we watched the dogs in the dog park area and enjoyed the beautiful weather. (Got a table with an umbrella - great coverage from the sun.) The drinks were really good too - a Norwood Long Island Iced tea and an espresso martini and a strawberry banana shake. Great place! We will be back!!

We had a party of 9 and we were well taken care of. Food was served in short order and we were checked on several times. And 'live' entertainment since we could see the pickleball courts. Definitely recommend.

They do not take reservations, they have a walk up window to order slices, drinks, pickup, and they offer take out (do not deliver). So the inside is bar style with very few tables. I love the divey feel to this place. All pizzas are New York Style, offered by the slice, 12 inch and 18 inch, specialty pizzas and build your own. Only dietary restrictions is the cauliflower crust but not gluten free. The menu is simple which offers one appetizer (meatball), salads, dessert which is soft serve ice cream and homemade chocolate chip cookies. The drink menu is also simple. Craft beer, a couple of beers on tap, specialty cocktails and wine. There was a wait for our pizza since we dined in on a Friday night. They were slammed. It was worth it! The pizza was dead on New York style with great flavor. When the crust doesn't need dipping sauce and taste good alone, you know they've done their job right. Amazing! Paired really well with my wines. Even my fiancée enjoyed his slices with his beer. The pizza was cheesy and flavorful, and the crust was soo perfect. I can't wait to go in person next time and get more from their large menu.
