Value is incredible! You get a big sandwich and a bunch of fries for a reasonable price. Everything was pretty tasty. Lovely little local place. Fantastic lunch spot but you'll have leftovers!

Been here a couple of times before but always forget to take pictures of the food before I eat it all! It's a little out of the way, but worth stopping in if you can. Genuine, tasty food. Everything that we have had there comes out quick, hot and delicious. The people working there seem to be family and do a great job bringing things out, and checking on you to make sure you don't need anything. Must have asked if everything was ok at least 3 times! Gyro sandwich is on their homemade bread which is soft and flavorful. Gyro deluxe is huge and could easily feed 2 people! Basic dining room, but has comfortable seating and a couple of tvs, which had college football on while we were there. Great place to grab lunch with family or friends. Looking forward to our next visit!

Even though they are closing at 3, for regular kitchen maintenance, (it's 2:20 now), they welcomed us in and were happy to serve us. The door says closed on Sunday, but they are open and happy to help. Food looks and tastes amazing! They bake bread in house so I took some of that home too.

WOW!!! Incredible gyros. They're HUGE and decently priced!! Probably could've shared one between the 2 of us. The guys at the counter were so nice! Food came out really quickly.

They are very friendly when you walk up to the counter. Ordering was very fast and easy. Zito Deli is located in the Ritz center off Lemay Ferry. A no frills clean storefront restaurant. I got the Doner Sandwich. The bread was fresh and delicious...actually the whole sandwich was. The fries were crispy and plentiful. The gyro was just as good. Both are HUGE!!!!! Do it!!!!

Some of the best food you'll ever experience! Excellent service and very affordable prices.

Double Smash gyro burger. Don't think about it ..just don't, trust me. But be hungry!

Employees were extremely nice and willing to help us through our first time visit. The owner said I should try the Gyro Double Smash burger....sidenote....they were right on. It was amazing! Two huge smashed burger patties covered in cheese. Then tons...I mean tons of gyro meat....and to top it all off...it's topped with in house made 1000 Island. This is a must burger!!! My wife got the gyro meal and she said it was huge and amazing!! She's excited to go back. We had a nice little booth in the back with enough room to talk. We can't wait to try some more items...but in all honesty...I'm getting the gyro burger...wow.

The ambiance inside was like a cozy cafe with Mediterranean vibes, especially at the register. We were seated and already knew what we wanted. I ordered an Arnold Palmer, and the mint in the lemonade was refreshingly delicious. For my meal, I opted for the Chicken and Beef Combo. The grilled chicken kabob was incredibly tasty, and the beef kabob was bursting with flavor. It was served with rice, grilled tomato, and a cucumber and tomato salad, all of which complemented the main dishes beautifully. The tzatziki sauce was some of the best I've had in the city. This place is always bustling, and I can see why. The food was absolutely delicious, and my leftovers were just as good as they were when I first ate them. I'm already looking forward to trying more of the menu on my next visit, which will be sooner rather than later since every dish I saw looked mouthwatering. The staff is small so you won't have a dedicated server. You can gesture to anyone and they will ensure your orders are placed. Another interesting thing is that they do not sell alcohol or standard drinks Americans would be used to, so try their pomegranate lemonade. Unfortunately my food was not as flavorful as it looked so that was a bummer. The deserts were excellent so that helped my sweet tooth. This place is not 100% accessible as the entrance is rather narrow.

A real treat yo self experience is to be had at this restaurant by the Bengelina Hospitality Group…read more Recommendations: At this coastal Mediterranean restaurant we enjoyed the Stracciatella consisting of grilled grapes, rosemary almonds, and aged balsamic and the shrimp oreganata as starters. For the grilled over charcoal portion of the menu, we enjoyed the the Denver steak and skirt steak. For the side, you can't go wrong with the fire baked potato with truffle fonduta. Dessert: The limoncello tiramisu is delightful and fresh. The homemade chocolate truffles are made by Chef's mom and are a must try menu item. Ambiance: Warm and intimate with great music playing in the background. Staff: Ellie was knowledgeable, friendly, and provided excellent recommendations. The server seemed annoyed with being there, never asked my husband if he wanted a refill, took forever to check on us, and messed up the bill, which I didn't catch until after signing it. I've been to plenty of fine dining restaurants where our server has introduced themselves and asked about the occasion, and this place did none of that. Esca has the service of a fast casual restaurant- zero rapport with the customer. Oh and I was charged a 20% service fee. Super tacky to do that for a table of two at a nice restaurant. Bruschetta was such a small portion and flavorless. The artichokes claimed to have anchovy but my husband said he couldn't taste any, so he essentially got a tiny $20 artichoke as an appetizer. My $16 spritz was so loaded with ice I had maybe three sips of the actual drink. I noticed every other table had bread service but we weren't offered any. Our dinner was finished and I finally asked our server for bread. The best part of my meal was the gelato with olive oil, that's it. I don't think I'll spend the $$ again at this place. It's such a bummer because I had high hopes for a stellar Mediterranean meal.
