Nicole @ zodiac lash bar is NOT a professional.She claims she has been an esthetician for 3 years plus. In this photo - she has glued the lashes to my eye lid. She denies it - even with the photo. She tried to claim it was the glue . Not quite sweetheart. It is because the lashes were literally glued to my lid. Very very poor and unsafe technique. For those curious- she did a full set of volume in 1hour an 10 minutes was the application time. Standard is two hours. ****Unsafe lash tech. Avoid at all cost! read more

Nicole is an experienced, well-trained, and educated esthetician. After going to multiple lash extension estheticians and having numerous poor experiences, I was done! Until I was recommended to Nicole! I am so grateful for the recommendation! Her customer service and attention to detail are what set her a part from others. Her studio is located within a group of other working salons that offer other services, but her setting is private with a closed door. She offers a wide range of services that she is certified and well trained in. I've had multiple services completed with Nicole. Lash extensions, anti aging facial, dermal plane facial, acne facial, microbladed eyebrows, and other services. I am extremely satisfied with every service I have received. I highly recommend Zodiac Beauty Bar! The bad reviews that I have read on here are from clients that must not understand policies with transactions and/or they do not read the disclaimers and have poor communication skills. With all of her services, you are well informed of her polices. You should never just lay or sit on an estheticians chair or table and not discuss your beauty goals or skin concerns. You should communicate. Your esthetician is not a mind reader. Nicole has always communicated with me effectively but I have to advise her of my concerns first. Example, I have sensitive skin. But I discussed this with her, knowing I have sensitive skin, so she was informed. Therefore, I was able to make an informed decision on services offered once we discussed all our options. She communicates the entire time and always ensures that I am happy throughout my services. Basically, have a good, open, and honest relationship with your esthetician. Usually before seeing someone new, I read the reviews other people write prior to seeing them. Nicole had pretty decent reviews, but like every business there are some bad reviews. I should have listened to the few bad ones. I have had traumatic experiences with people screwing up my eyebrows, and I communicated that with Nicole, prior to even scheduling my appointment. I am really not one to talk negatively of a small business, however when something this bad happens, I want other people to be aware. Upon entering her studio, I laid on the table/bed and she immediately got to waxing. Without even doing brow mapping, a consultation, or even asking how I like my eyebrows. The first of the wax she put down was in between my two brows. I immediately knew that it was going to be bad. Personally, I like my eyebrows normal and closer together. However, they were super far apart, very uneven, and not at all what I like. If she had even taken a few minutes to consult with my likings, this would not be an issue. She showed me what it looked like when it was done, and I was so upset. I was planning on getting them laminated so I just told her to proceed with the lamination, with hopes it would fix the huge gap and unevenness. It didn't. I paid, tipped, and left. I cried immediately when I got to my car. I had to go spend even more money at Ulta to buy some makeup to help make it look in the slightest better. I messaged Nicole and she said she went "straight up the tear duct 'which is properly how to map them out'" ???? are you kidding? That is incorrect. She didn't attempt to make me feel better at all. I have never had issues with how far apart with anyone, this is probably the worst eyebrow experience that I have ever had and that is saying a lot. I really really do not recommend Nicole. I have put a lot of growth and work into my eyebrows to get to the point I had before I walked in. They just needed to be cleaned up. Here is my before and after. I am so disappointed and sad. It's been 5 days and they don't even look laminated anymore, what a waste of $70. read more

My friend had eye lashes put on by Nicole and the transformation was amazing! She was/is so beautiful. It lit up her face. SO...I wanted to look beautiful too for the holidays. I had my eyelash 'extensions' put on and it kinda freaked me out at first, but the compliments when some one sees me is uplifting I really like them. read more
