I got a gel manicure and pedicure here a week ago. My pedicure is still holding up well, but unfortunately, my manicure started chipping before it even made it a full week. I was really disappointed, especially since gel should last much longer. Wanted to try this place, it looked cute and clean. Upon entering it's very cluttered with plants and stuff. I do give kudos to their pedicure chairs, very comfortable. But the guy who did my pedicure was very rough and I ended up with an injury. You cannot use sandpaper like tools on delicate skin. I'm hoping it doesn't get infected. I won't be back. read more

I was invited to the Elite squad, complimentary manicure or pedicure event at Earth and Ivory, which is formally known as Dip nail spa. Unfortunately, I had a last-minute work conflict and was unable to make it, however, I was able to reschedule and apologize profusely to Riley over the phone. I was able to come in at 9:30 the following Friday morning upon their opening hours. I felt like I was entering a new place. Dip nail spa looks completely different and for the better. They've done such a marvelous job redoing the entire salon. It's clean, it has great energy, the decorations are very thoughtful, and the place itself has a very welcoming, warm, and inviting Atmosphere. I was surprised at how busy it was and the doors were barely even open. Most of us had appointments and a few walk-ins were kindly welcomed. Aubrey was working up front and she has great energy and she was so sweet. I wasn't able to get my nails done until about 12 minutes after, sadly. I didn't have a lot of time so I did feel a little bit rushed, but I had Trin who was amazing. I got a regular manicure and she was so sweet. We had a great conversation. I wish I wasn't as rushed and that I was. The team did their best to make sure I was in and out on time and at my nails still looked great. I was happy that they had OPI nail polish because I hate when they give you the cheap stuff that chips in three days. I don't get gel or dip so I try to maintain my nails for as long as possible as I'm not able to do this often. My manicure was $30 all in. I do believe I have met Phoebe, the owner and pioneer of this incredible makeover effort. Shout out to her because she has done a lovely job. Not good. I went with high hopes considering the way they portray themselves on social media. Everyone was very very friendly & nice. The environment is much less uncomfortable than other salons. However, the work is not up to par. I booked a pedicure & full set online then called to ask if they could do them simultaneously, they said yes then called me later to say they couldn't and if we could do them separately. No problem. The girl who does my pedicure although very nice does not seem experienced. I got a simple pink French tip. They're crooked but whatever you know, I don't want to be annoying. I tell her I want the same simple pink French tip on my set I'm passed over to the man doing my set along with the polish I chose. I tell him I have a cut on a cuticle & if he can be careful. But I know there's gonna be you know, acetone and whatnot that's fine just a little consideration. He puts an acetone soaked cotton ball right on my finger and rubbed it vigorously I flinch & he says oops he forgot. Fine whatever.everything good up to the acrylic part. Lumpy, weird shape of the nail that don't match in the slightest, and way to thick on some. Then he starts painting a very crooked French tip & I notice they are white so once he finishes the second hand I ask him if he's doing it to paint the pink on top-i was thinking maybe to brighten the color idk-but no. He says oops he forgot. Then he says next time I can stop them sooner....which feels like is the nail techs job to double check & I don't like questioning people on their job. We finish, I pay, I do 20% gratuity and I go home and try to like them but to be honest they're just ugly. They're different thicknesses in paint & shape, you can see white showing, they are not square like I asked and my thumb has an extra cut from an electric file. I really didn't ask for much, I'm particular but not impossible. I call and they tell me they can fix them but if I'm being honest, aside from the 180+ dollars I spent, I sat there for 3+ hours & wasting both of those things made me really annoyed. This isn't a little walk in get ya nails done never come back kind of place. They've established themselves as something more, something higher quality. So to leave with nails like I did, is somewhat enraging. I'm hoping they will just remove them and refund me the money because if I'm going to sit for 3 hours, pay and tip. I would like to be able to rely on the professionals. Will check back if we fix them. read more

This is my first time at this Nails Spa. I requested a Pink & White new set which not a lot of places know how to do it. First of all, I was very pleased and impressed by the welcoming of the Manager Phoebe and her assistant. They were so kind and warm once I walked in thru the door. You can totally tell they know their business. Once I explained what I wanted she completely understood and took me in. I had my hands and feet done there. Which I loved and was very impressed by their professionalism. Jonathan did my hands, such an amazing talented kind man. Tina did my pedicure, another talented kind lovely lady. Over all I'm extremely happy with their work. The place is lovely, clean and welcoming. Previously, I had gone to Gallery Nails Spa across the street to schedule an appointment. The white teenage girls at the front desk were so condescending they got bothered by me asking for the price of the services. I totally thought to myself "They don't deserve people's business." So, I decided to look for a different place and saw Dip Nails Spa across the street. I highly recommend Dip Nail Spa at this location. You will be truly blessed and very happy. In the second appointment, they had a technician call out sick and instead of moving me to a different technician they made me wait an hour while other people came and went. In my visit today, I learned that their online scheduling application doesn't always work and they could not actually accommodate my appointment.
