I've been here at least ten times and have never been disappointed. I've tried a different signature latte each time and am always delighted. Some of the lattes require additional sweetening in my opinion but that's good for those who prefer that coffee taste! I recommend spending a little while in the relaxing, simple, lively atmosphere sipping your drink from a mug. Oh yeah, free wifi! read more

Cute and welcoming store with very nice and comfortable seating. Drinks- Smoothie was very good. Raspberry hibiscus tea was very refreshing. What a great place! I always drink decaf, and there's is better than most. Lots of baked goods, with an in-house baker, so it's always fresh. Sandwiches are made to order, including the breakfast sandwiches. (This means you'll have to wait a bit, but fresh food is worth a little wait.) They are careful to source locally, which is important to me. Coda coffee and Cabana bottled drinks. The staff is always friendly and upbeat. If you have a question about something, they're always helpful. If you're in the neighborhood, you should stop in. Just watch for the entrance. Super sweet mom and pop place - all heart and feel good vibes here. We had the breakfast burritos that were yummy but on the small side. Coffee was fresh and served with a smile. I liked the owners doggie, who had free rein of the place and was a cutie pie. I called to see if the place was open early and the call got disconnected. The owner called me back straightaway and apologized. She asked me what she could get ready for me since my husband and I were rushing to get to a conference. Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful! This little gem is serving up simple, yet a hint of twist on traditional coffee and tea.... and, it's done impeccably well! Details matter. I flew in to DEN from SFO and I'm happy to have driven across Denver to enjoy this place. Staff are friendly, polite, and helpful. The ladies care about what they're serving. I looked for a place to do some cost savings estimates for work and found this little place tucked away in north Denver. The wifi had bandwidth for work projects a webinar conference and nice atmosphere to soothe the nerves from travel. As a broker for commercial wholesale natural gas I travel a lot. I also had the chance to talk with the owners, and you should have a chat if you ever get the chance. Pretty neat people with cool life stories. See you next time... First of all, this is an excellent locally-owned coffee shop. After moving to Colorado several months ago, I visited a few times and always found the space inviting, busy, and with friendly staff willing to work to make a delicious drink. Zoe's always seems to be busy with customers socializing, having meetings, and enjoying the environment. A recent visit is the cause of the poor rating. As I waited in line to place my order, I noticed an unleashed and unvested small dog under the feet of the customers, sniffing at customers and getting in the way. I assumed the dog was owned by an inconsiderate customer and did not say anything, though an older customer seemed to stumble and nearly fall over the unattended dog. However, after I received my drink and was relaxing on a settee near the front of the store, the same dog came and jumped up onto the couch with me. I visibly recoiled and an older employee, who looked like a less attractive version of Bonnie Hunt and who previously had been very friendly, exclaimed "I don't know why she (the dog) is so attracted to you!" I explained to the lady that, as a customer with allergies, I was sensitive to animals in businesses, and that this dog was clearly not a working service animal. The employee immediately became sharply rude to me, claiming that the dog WAS a working service animal. I explained that a working service animal would NEVER jump on furniture, and she then backtracked on he claim that the dog was a working service animal and condescendingly explained that she had papers "from her doctor" that the dog was a "therapy dog." I explained that only working service animals are allowed in establishments that serve food, that this dog clearly was not a working service animal based on her behavior, and that a therapy dog is NOT allowed in establishments that serve food. The employee coolly looked me in the eyes and said "Thank you for coming in" and then began her personal meeting, attempting (and failing) to corral the dog between her legs as she chatted with a colleague. As I left, I noticed the dog run behind the counter to the food service areas and noticed the same employee pick up the dog and hold the dog in her arms behind the counter, an obvious health hazard under the most lax of circumstances. Since Zoe's staff is not going to follow health department rules regarding animals in establishments that serve food, unfortunately, I am not able to return as a customer. Additionally, I have filed a detailed report with the Tri-County Health Department, so that they may make an informed investigation into Zoe's Coffee's health practices regarding animals in food service establishments and conduct a thorough review of Zoe's license, so that others who may have health concerns or who have allergies can safely go to Zoe's without concern for their health. I sincerely hope that Zoe's can change this policy so that I can once again become a customer of a locally-owned coffee shop I really enjoyed. read more

Cute little place and SO friendly. I love coffee places that aren't part of a chain because their drinks usually taste much better and they have a wider assortment of delicious pastries. It's a really cute place and has a relaxed environment. It's a lot quieter than all other coffee shops I've been to and they even have oldies music playing. The owner responded" please note the espresso shots are not $5.50." I walked into the store, walked up to the register, and ordered a quadruple espresso in a cup nothing else. She rang it up and said that will be $5.50. I said are you kidding me and turned around and walked out. So now the owner is telling me it's not $5.50. So what's really going on? read more

Zoe's is one of my favorite little spots during the day to get away and do something productive... it's quiet enough if you're working and comfortable too, if you are wanting to just hang out and chat with random folks, try some fresh local honey from the owner or eat something yummy... personally, I've enjoyed the veggie sandwich (love it!) and also really liked the turkey avocado... yes, I took pics of both, just for your viewing pleasure... oh, and speaking of pleasure, please do indulge in something from their baked good selection. So very good and just the thing to make my working afternoon even sweeter (yes, literally and figuratively!). The owners are cool and they'll most likely be around when you show up and treat you as if you walked over as a neighbor... just like all the best parts of home - said as a Texan, you know I'm talking about serious Southern hospitality.... yep. Good stuff. Why only four stars? Just cause I wish it were a bigger space and had a private patio... I know, I'm a snob. Still a cool, hidden gem. read more

A small, super-cute neighborhood cafe. There are some tables in the back for those wanting to get work done and a small area up front for casual seating, with couches and sofa chairs. The owner and staff were really great at accommodating us when we were there for a small get-together; I was able to order pastries ahead of time and communicate with the owner via email. I've been on a hunt for a great local coffee shop and after reading the reviews I settled on Zoe's. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the Coffee was delicious. I was greeted by an older woman, Laura (I believe that's what she said her name was) with a warm smile and a Hello the moment I walked in. she was very friendly helpful. After I placed my order for a mocha frappe Laura asked her coworker May for help on making my drink. Laura asked for me to bare with her since she was still learning to make drinks and felt more comfortable with help. As soon as May walked over she looked disgusted and pi$$ed off. She didn't want to make my drink and said that she'd ring me up instead. I felt so bad for Laura, you could tell she was still Learning and May didn't want to have any part in helping her. May definitely took the warm and inviting feel out of the establishment. She was very short with me and I had to carry the conversation between us. It was like pulling teeth to get her to repeat my order back. The whole situation was very uncomfortable. I know We all have bad days and today seemed to be just that for May but sometimes we just have to smile through it and put our best foot forward. My drink wasn't the best I've had but the flavor was definitely there and I know Laura did the best she could in the situation she was in and I applaud her for that since you could tell she was just as uncomfortable as I was. I'll be back because the coffee was delicious and I believe that you should visit a place 3 times before making a final decision to disregard it completely. read more

This is my favorite coffee shop ever. It seems like a labor of love for the owners, who are wonderful people and are there a lot. When you go to Zoe's Coffee, you feel you are being treated like a friend from the moment you walk in. Oh, and if you have any problems with the store credits, be sure to speak up. They recently switched systems, so if there is a glitch on your credits they'll fix it for you if you let them know. They say I have so many stars in their system I could practically buy Zoe's with it, haha. But I'd never want to have any other owners than the two who run it now. It's more than a coffee shop...it's a place to connect with the kind-spirited people it seems to attract, surely an outgrowth of the owners' own kindness. read more

I moved to Westminster less than a week ago from the Midwest and this cafe hit the spot for a charming welcoming spot for coffee in the morning. My husband enjoyed a smoothie (not a coffee guy) and I sampled the cold brew coffee which was great. We also had breakfast, and can attest to delicious burritos and sanwhiches. read more

Customer service here was immaculate! I walk in and it's a nice, quiet, cozy little shop. I talk a decently long look at the menu because I was torn between two options. The whole time the barista was very patient with me and understanding. The coffee was prepared quickly and with care and concentration. I tried to do the right thing by going to a mom and pop for my coffee this morning instead of Starbucks - boy was I let down. Hard to screw up four shots on ice, but somehow they did. Tasted like espresso that came out of a cheapo Walmart, home espresso maker - and one that had been sitting in the garage for years. Not sure the problem - I reckon they're using crappy coffee beans and they also haven't properly cleaned their espresso machine in years. I have to actually dump out this coffee and go to Starbucks after all. $4 down the drain. Zoe's - that was my second try at your coffee and I have to say - I will never be back. :( read more
