I took my computer to Zombie and they charged me $50 for diagnosis. They never came up with a diagnosis. Also, they called me 2-3 times over 3 days and told me the computer was okay and to come pick it up. When I got there, they said it wasn't ready. Also, when I told them to forget it and took my computer to another place, it was missing a module for a Microsoft wireless mouse that they took out and did not replace. They said they looked for it in their shop, but couldn't find it. They said they would replace it, that is, buy me a new Microsoft mouse. They never replaced it. I sent them a bill for the new one I had to buy, but they never paid the bill after 3 months. read more

The wifey recently dropped our laptop so we brought it over here for them to take a look at it. We explained what happened and they took it around back to their work station to have a look at it. They explained that it was a hard drive problem and that they could replace it. I don't recall the price for parts and labor so I might not be of help for others looking for insight. In general they were helpful and knowledgeable. For this specific scenario I figured I could replace on my own for cheaper. After browsing online to try and find the best price for computers, I decided to call Zombie Tech to see if they had a refurbished computer to suit our rather spartan needs. My girlfriend needed an affordable, relatively basic laptop for school. While computer sales is not ZTs main gig, they were able to meet and exceed our needs. Kevin was very professional and has extensive experience in his field. Service was outstanding, and we were able to get everything we needed for school installed on-site. The cost for all of this was below budget, and additional services my family needs were also below standard market prices- we will be returning here for future computer and cellphone repair and services. This is a very good repair center. I went in for fixing my 6 year old HP laptop. 2 issues, with my laptop. 1. FAN stopped working. 2. Battery not holding charge. He fixed it correctly. There is a small hick up with respect to battery, but he fixed that too. Now my laptop will last another 3+ years. Great Plus +-- Fixing it correctly. Minor Drawback --- Taking 3+ days and the hick up with respect to fixing the battery. Note: you have to remember one thing. Companies make things harder to repair and also critical mechanical component are made of plastic, that break like clock work, as soon as the 3 year warranty is over. I was quoted $80, but paid $130. That was because i realized i have to change the battery also in addition.It's been 6 months and my laptop is still working and working well, that i use it more often. Thanks Mahesh read more

Not a favorable experience. Had my 5c in today to repair the cracked screen. I called ahead. They said it would take 30 mins. I got there and they said there were other customers ahead of me and it'll be over an hour. Ok. Fine. They quoted me a price and I left my phone. Nearly 1.5hrs later my son (asked them to call him) got the call to get my phone. Ever since I got it, the touch screen has been sluggish and now there is a dark spot in the lower right hand corner. I've lost calls, hung up on ppl and there is a strange speaker rattling in the ear piece. I called and they asked me to come back in so they can fix it, again. This time it'll only be 30 minutes. I think I just want my money back and I'll go to another place. This post was originally written 2 days after I got the new screen. I had inadvertently delayed the posting by not hitting the continue button (3 weeks later). Then mistakenly I hit update giving this place 2 negative reviews. Guess what? They deserve it. Phone is passed their odd 28 day warranty and I sound muffled when I'm on the speaker phone and I'm still having screen issues. I'm glad YELP removed my other post (brought to their attention by the "community" aka the techs) so I can refresh this one. This happened several months ago. I think it was around July 2014? Samsung S4 Glass cracked and they had the best price. I got what I paid for. I think I paid $120 1. They didn't have it ready when they said they would. 2. glue wasn't dry and kept oozing out. 3. they said it would stop and it didn't 4. they asked me to bring it back so they could fix it. They put in a new glass? Don't know why but ok? 5. STILL oozing glue. Gave it back to them to put under the UV light. STILL OOZING. 6. they said give it a couple of weeks. I did and it was STILL oozing. 7. They cracked the internal frame and it cost me extra to fix at the next place. 8. SO FRUSTRATED that I gave up and didn't like my phone and was careless and cracked it again AND broke the lcd. 9. Took it to another place and he was GREAT (see my post). He used to troubleshoot mainframes. He said that they "probably" didn't use a mold to hold the phone face down so the glue doesn't go into the body. Tried to clean the glue but it was EVERYWHERE and now my camera takes fuzzy pics. 10. The buttons on the bottom of the phone wasn't lighting up and he put in a spare for free. 210 for the glass and lcd and another 30+ for the internal frame. Cost me 270 to repair but was worth it. read more

They charge a hefty fee (50$) for inspection alone. I had given them my laptop for repair and they checked and updated that it will take $250 as the mother board needs to be replaced. Then I asked them to recover the data alone (additional $15). Then the next day they updated that they couldn't recover the data as the hard drive is corrupted. This is the kind of quality inspection they did initially. There are other better alternatives available in the neighborhood where they charge you only if they could fix the issue. read more

So came in with really bad water damage. Like really bad and they fixed it to a perfectly new laptop. Clean and brand new since there were things that needed to be replaced. So a 3 yrs old Mac Pro with new keys, track pad, and motherboard made this brand new. Though it took a while, it works amazing. Even after getting it bad there was a one month guarantee on it just incase something was not done properly you can go back in and they will probably fix it with no charge. read more

I recently came in to get a quote on my shattered and spider-webbed computer screen. I was so sad and nervous thinking they couldn't fix my screen. One of the workers even said "Woah.. how did you do that!?" Well, I dropped my computer on concrete trying to workout. Anyway, it seemed my computer was unfixable. But the worker said he will try his best to fix it. Surprising, he fixed the WHOLE screen and camera aswell. I am so happy that I didn't have to pay a crazy amount to fix the screen or even pay for a new computer. They fixed the screen within six hours. I almost jumped for joy since they did an amazing job and it looks brand new! I paid only $250 for the screen to be fixed. The same worker also ordered me a new screen and told me that it wasn't an extra charge. This place is HORRIBLE!!! first off, they overcharged my daughter to have her screen fixed. Then days after it was "fixed" the screen started going black and the phone would not fully turn on. When we went back to have it fixed because they claim to have a 90 days warranty they claimed that due to a small crack that happened after it started blacking out they would not be able to fix it. They offered to fix it again at a discounted price which "due to inflation" turned out to be more expensive than the first time it was "fixed". They never fixed it properly the first time and then they denied my teenage daughter the option to fix it properly. I dont suggest anyone coming here, they are liars and crooks. They take advantage of younger children and do not fix things properly the first time in hopes that you return so they can charge again higher than the first time. It was absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!!! The manager on duty was extremely rude and inconsiderate as well. read more

The tech quoted us immediately while changing the glass on another customer 's phone. We engaged in conversation about iphone's and andriod's and how they differ. No stars I brought in my daughters iPad mid March with a shattered screen. They assured me they could replace it and fix it. Once we picked it up, we had to bring it back 3 times to fix it. The last time they said they would not fix it or look at it again. I have photos of the button not being placed correctly. I called and asked for a refund. They charged $297 for the screen to be shipped over night and for the labor. I paid $299 + tax from Apple for a replacement NEW iPad. Sebastian and Kevin are refusing to refund our money we spent to repair this iPad and it is not fixed. While at Apple I told Sebastian that Apple was taking the iPad in exchange for the $299 price. He NEVER said he needed the screen back. I was very clear I would not have the iPad. Now; they are refusing to give us back the $297 they took for repairing it. Wow. BEWARE go to APPLE. Learning lesson. I could have just paid $299 for a new replacement from Apple; instead I paid $299 to apple AND $297 to Zombie. read more
