This is my go-too. The Zoom Car Wash is so convenient to use. I keep the Black Knight washed. The reason I'm not rating them higher is that its express service is okay. I wanna say better, but it's what it is. However, on this nice and cool, very sunny day today, when drying my car, I noticed these marks on the rear passenger quarter panel. They are marks taking only the surface paint off the vehicle. So I believe, 'these are coming from the car wash'. So I summoned the manager, and he denies they're from the car wash. I said to him, "You're going to say that." He alleged they were impact marks, but there were no dents or gashes. After he felt them, I then took him to the front of the vehicle, showing him impact marks from highway driving. You can clearly distinguish the difference between the two. So I'll doctor those marks with this paint I have already purchased from the dealership to address those chip marks on the front of the vehicle. I just thought that needed to be shared for others to know that may have similar concerns. Fyi, he said to me, "Then why haven't others complained about it?" And I told him because they don't realize it yet. I understand why some people don't use this type of car wash. It's those pros and cons. Someone previously said to me these types of car washes will scratch your car up. I should've known because my car was scratched after my very first wash going through one of their car washes. read more

I'm back on the hunt for a new monthly car wash membership and had been meaning to give this place a shot. Finally stopped in on a Saturday morning. It wasn't too busy yet so I got right in. The person that greeted me at the payment machine was very friendly. It was a nice, warm welcome. They asked if I wanted a complimentary air freshener and then marked my windshield so the next attendant would know to give it to me. The next person was abrasive. There's just no other way to put it. It was early yet so I just proceeded with the process. The actual process was the usual. I will say it was roomier than other places I've been. Unfortunately, my truck is still dirty. I chose their ultimate top of the line wash and could have just got a basic one. I still have the same gifts from my neighborhood birds, just smeared now. My windshield has the same spots. If I didn't sit through the wash I wouldn't believe it took place. read more

My car desperately needed a good wash, so I stopped by this location in between running errands in the area. It's a pretty straightforward process. When you enter, you first drive up to a line of free self-vacuuming stations. Once you find yourself a open spot, just grab a vacuum off the wall and clean the inside of your car. I found the vacuum to be quite powerful! Once you finish vacuuming, drive up and make a little u-turn into the lane for the wash. When I went, there was an attendant at the kiosk helping customers select and pay for their wash. He was super friendly and kind. After paying, you drive up and put your car in neutral while slowly going through the car wash. There's a second attendant there to help you align your car with the moving floor belt and place a plastic cover on the back windshield wiper (if you have one). My car wasn't completely dry afterwards, and I had to pull off to the side to wipe down some of the residual water off the mirrors and the back of the car, but overall I did enjoy the process and felt it was a solid option for a car wash. This establishment is well-kept with friendly and efficient staff, so I forward to returning here for car washes regularly! read more

This is an above average drive thru car wash experience. Free vacuum option. Staff assist the payment transaction. Somewhat pricey but seems like a solid wash. Despite the blowers and rolling towels, you still need to dry off after the wash. Line moves quickly. read more

Zoom Express in Pataskala, Ohio: Sorry, cancelling my plan. The wash is horrible even if you run through 3-4 times. Bug wash is never out (um, on warmer days in spring and fall there are bugs), and the wash doesn't touch them. Service is pathetic as you have to ask for one or more of either air freshener, dash wipe, or drying towel. Half the time, you can tell the fluids are low and all of the brushes appear to be worn out. Tried Moo-moo today, and discovered it does a much better job and at a better price. I normally do not review car washes but this one is flipping awesome! At first I thought it was a little pricey but there are three choices eight dollars $12 and $15. I went with the $12 car wash. It is an attended car wash but could easily operate without any help from humans as it has kiosks. The car wash as four or five free vacuums that you can use along the side of the building. Once you go into the car wash you hand your receipt to the attendant he scans it and off you go. It starts out with this thunderballs thing which dumps a bunch of rainbow colored foam on your car. There are two separate sets of side washers you got both the octopus thing and a rotating wheel that cleans the roof. There is ample rinse water which is a big gripe of mine but is also one of the highest expenses and car washes clean water. And then it has the chamois wheels that do a great job of drying and buffing the car. The spokes of my wheels were clean, the tires were clean and even the little license plate pocket in the back which is always dirty and never gets cleaned was clean. It is by far one of the best values of car washes I have been to in a long time. read more

16.00 dollars for the ultimate, no free washes no hand towel dry, I'm going I say that this place is on the very expensive side the only perk is the free vacuum, but I can easily do that at home. I would rather spend 19.00 somewhere else with a feee wash within five days. The wash is very good and thorough. They also have a machine that dries the car aside from the air blower, there are rollers with soft towels. I still like the hand dry better. read more

Today I went to Zoom on Mayfield for the First and Last time . Upon arriving home went to wipe excess water off windshield and window smeared like the wax was distributed all over the windshield and now have smudged front windshield. Even tried to remove with Windex was unable to remove all for I am 5'3 female can't reach entire windshield. Why would you all distribute spray wax in Glass????? read more

This is by far the best car wash I've ever been to. Other car wash places I've been to try to dry your car with fans only, but this place uses fans and an automatic dry cloth section which gets most of your car spotless dry. If you are a regular at this place, you should also get the value cards, I just started using them and it saves money, for example when you deposit $50 to your card, they add $10 extra. I had a completely different experience than the other reviewers. I stopped here on a sunny cold Saturday morning. I was looking for a full service (inside and out) car wash. I thought the $15 ultimate wash, surely would include full service, it did not, also no hand dry. I exited the car wash feeling good, after all of the different colored rinses and washes. I left the car wash and went directly across the street to Costco. I exited the driver's side of my car and all looked ok, as I rounded the back of the vehicle, not so great, back window and bumper were still dirty and then as I approached the passenger side, the entire side was still dirty, as if it had never been washed. I went back to the car wash, explained to the attendant, my issue. He took a look and agreed, but mentioned that it was probably salt dust as I exited the wash....NOT! Anyway, I proceeded back through the wash and then headed home, because surely after being washed a second time, all must be clean.....right? I exited my car at home and the passenger side still looked exactly the same AND my license plate frame was broken and the actual plate was bent. Needless to say I will not return.... read more

I came to try this place because I saw a lot of positive reviews. They have an automatic wash and free vacuums. I see why this place is typically packed when I drive by. On Tuesdays they offer $2 off of any car wash you purchase. Today being Tuesday, April 28th I decided to try them out. The person standing at the entrance to the wash was polite. I chose the highest wash, the Ultimate.I inserted my payment and proceeded forward into the wash. Pretty quick process and my car is relatively clean (there are some areas around my rear license plate is still noticeably dirty as is the grill. It still shows bug residue. The rims are semi clean. For $16 (normally $18) I would have expected these areas to be completely clean (with the exception of the rims. I have yet to visit any automatic or touchless car wash that can sufficiently clean rims). To top it off they had the vacuums disabled. That would not have been an issue except I wanted to vacuum and clean my interior and there were no signs posted anywhere stating the vacuums weren't available. Would I visit again? Probably not, at least not this location. read more

First time here. Service staff was prompt, courteous and professional. Got the express car wash with tire shine for $10 and you can't really beat that compared with other washes in the area. All of the equipment appears to be very new and got my car clean. I was a little skeptical upon pulling out of the drive because water droplets were still on my car but when I pulled up at home sure enough my car was sparkling with no streaks. I will probably do the ultimate wash next time to get the towel dry and added features it seems worth it... That is if we ever get a good streak of weather here in Cleveland read more

This place was formerly Al Paul Auto Wash, until it was renovated about eight months ago. Having just gotten back from a long road trip, our car was in need of a good exterior cleaning. So, we stopped in the other day and opted for their Ultimate Express package ($15). There wasn't a line, the new facilities were very welcoming and clean, and the staff (most, if not all, seemed to be carried over from the Al Paul days) were as friendly as ever. The wash was pretty thorough for an exterior-only place, but some bugs on our grille still remained when the wash was finished (however, the employee at the entrance did say he couldn't guarantee it'd get all of the bugs off). The drying machines weren't that great, leaving a good portion of the car's rear still wet. Overall, this place is quick and convenient if you're in the area, but there are better options if you're willing to drive a few minutes. read more

I went in there today for a car wash. I been there once before so I expected same nice little car wash I had earlier. I went with the ultimate car wash($15) with tire shine(extra $1). After it went thru the whole process my windshield looked like it still had soap marks all over it. I stepped outside my car to see exterior of my car. The front drive and passenger side had soap foam all over it and it looked like as if someone put soap on it but it was never washed off. I got back in the line again and told the attendent about it. You could obviously see the soap all over the car so he said let me get the manager. His manager (assuming the owner) was so rude. He said this happened because of my side mirrors. I told him I been here once before and it wasn't like this. Then he said today they are busy so they increased their tire pressure :/. OK? Anyways he agreed upon giving another car wash. He said this time he will give me regular car wash($9 worth). I was in a hurry so I didn't say anything. As I was going in to get the wash, the owner said next time bring a rag to wipe off soap. Really dude ? What's the point of getting car wash and paying $16 if I have to step out and wash off the leftover soap which should have been cleaned while I was getting car wash. Definitely not going back to this place again. I had a similar experience as one of the other reviewers had in that my passenger side was not completely clean. There was blue soap still dripping down and dirt still all along the bottom of the passenger side. Will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

First let me say I have been going to this location for a long time. I was going to it when it was AlPauls. This car was is the only car wash that is worth the price they charge. The service is great and i never really have to worry about getting out to clean my car. The only complaint I have is that I miss the old car wash where they had somebody hand dry. The back end tends to stay a little wet but that is also because the water needs to run somewhere. I recommend this place over any in north eastern Ohio read more

It's nice that they have free vacuums but the ultimate car wash is $16 and there were a bunch of spots on my front window that weren't clean, along with all over the front. I asked if I could go through again and they wouldn't answer my question. Not worth the price. I'd rather go somewhere they hand wash and dry since they don't even dry your car afterwards. I went to Diamond to clean some grass clippings stuck to the left rear of my car after landscapers trimmed grass near it. I got the $13 Super Express car wash. When I got home, I noticed many of the clippings were still there. There were water spots on the front and sides of the car. My wheels were not clean and the front license plate was bent forward on both sides. Not the best experience for the money. I'll go elsewhere next time... read more

I usually have no issue with this car wash - the staff is usually friendly. Today, however I brought my newly purchased car in (purchased less than a week ago, so I am still getting familiar with the car) and as I was about to begin the car wash I remembered I had automatic windshield wipers (which I didn't have in my old car), I told the guy and he reached in and did something very quickly. I wasn't sure if he cut the automatic wipers off or not so I told him that I wasn't sure if the wipers were still on automatic and he very rudely and rushingly told me to take my foot off the brake and put my car in neutral. However, I still wasn't sure if the automatic wipers were off and to prevent damage to the car I asked the guy how to be sure the automatic wipers were off. He stopped the carwash belt from continuing (meaning all the cars in the carwash were stopped as well). He then sprayed windshield wiper cleaner on the windshield and literally yelled they are off and kept spraying and yelling take your foot off the brake and put your car in neutral. This all transpired in under 1 minute (literally less than 1 minute so other customers weren't stopped for very long at all). I was uncomfortable, I wasn't trying to be difficult I just was unsure - I would have hoped the guy would have had compassion and been more understanding rather than yelling at me as if I were a child. I've used this car wash twice now and every time I've been through I've gotten the ultimate wash and my car has been spotless. My car honestly looks a 1000x better from going through this wash than any other drive thru or manual wash. it's back to it's showroom shine with no damage done by the wash. the employees are super friendly!
