The technician was polite, friendly, and professional. He diagnosed the issue quixkly, ordered parts within a few says and came back to install and fix my pilot assembly and valve within a few days. Martin also serviced two other fireplaces and discovered some installation issues. He was able to resolve the issues, clean the fireplaces, and ensure that they were safe and operational. Price was fair too. I would highly recommend this company and will be using them again in the future.

In June 2023, I had another company come out to service my fireplace and examine a broken valve…read morethat would not shut off the pilot light when switched to the off position. The person charged me a sizeable service fee for the little work they did and then quoted me an enormous amount to come back and replace the valve assembly. I did the calculations in my head, and I felt the other company was fleecing me. I did some research and called this company for a second bid. I went over the information about my fireplace. I was give a reasonable quote to do the work. They told me Luke would come out and do the repair and that he has all the parts needed. Luke came to my house as scheduled and spent considerable time carefully dismantling the fireplace, replaced the valve assembly, installed a new thermo-coupler, cleaned and painted the firebox, installed a thermal disk to control the fan speed (which also turns it on and off automatically), re-secured the blower, put everything back together, and polished the glass. The fireplace looked new when finished. I wasn't sure how long the paint would last given the high heat inside the firebox, but I have used the fireplace over 40 hours a week over the past couple of months and so far the repainted firebox still looks great. The best part was that I paid less than half what the other company bid, and this company did far more work than replace a gas control valve and pilot. I hope to be able to use this business going forward. The only concern is that I live further than what I believe is their regular territory and they came over to do a major repair. I hope Luke can come to my house in the future for routine servicing.

She listened to our dream design, including the Mendota fireplace we lived, and helped us build an order that met all of our design and color expectations. Lauren asked great clarifying questions and led us carefully through color and texture choices matching our decor. We were given a detailed estimate, timeline for delivery and subsequent tear down and build, all the way through to completion. Their prices were competitive with all other locally owned shops, and we even benefited from a Mendota sale offered during our purchase! The buildout was quickly done, with tidiness and excellence, followed by, Zely with the finish work. All the employees of Northwest Hearth and Home are delightful, hard-working, with attention to detail . it was a quality job completed with quality products and we love the result! Throughout the visit, he was very polite and respectful of our home, taking off his shoes before entering, setting up his drop cloth and vacuuming up afterwards. Finally, he recommended some products that would help keep the chimney cleaner going forward and save me some money as well. Based on my single experience, I have no problem recommending Arcon.

Only Jerry can handle such customization, leading to a beautiful product. On top of that, he makes it look easy. He comes and does an in-person eval. He is responsive and communicative at all times. He cost less than Sutter Home and Hearth because they charge a lot to do semi-customization that wouldn't even work in the space (like fully square backplates on a curved arch fireplace with a lip). A friend referred me to Brian / Einstein Softwash when I was getting ready to sell my house. I had…read morea short turn-around time and luckily for me, Brian had a cancellation and could fit me into his schedule. Outside of the lucky timing, I was also lucky that Brian was very responsive, professional and customer service focused. He promptly returned calls/texts, was quick to come out and assess the work, and very communicative about the whole process. AND they did an excellent cleaning job for a very reasonable fee. I seriously wish I had found him before selling my house... it would have saved me *hours* of time cleaning. One note if you use any softwashing service - the results are amazing, but the cleaner solution does impact some sensitive plants. Half of the vegetation around my home is completely fine, but some herbs and other container plants were impacted. They'll grow back just fine, but did need a good trimming after being exposed. With this, I would not stop it from using Einstein Softwash again... I would just cover or move those plants :)

She was pretty rude on the phone when I spoke with her. Not only that, she left two nasty voicemails on my phone demanding for the money on a Saturday (10/19/19) when I was never informed that the service was completed. I ended up paying over the phone and asked to be emailed the receipt. I never got the receipt. Customer experience doesn't really exist, was pretty disappointed. -Minus 1 Star: I asked the technician politely to not disclosed the invoice with my tenants and that I would 100% take care of the bill. The technician went ahead and disclosed that information anyways. +1 Star: The owner of the company (Husband) was very polite when he returned my phone call which I really appreciated
