After years of searching, I have found the perfect balance to a trainer and workout facility. The staff are professionals that LOVE what they are doing. They practice what they teach. So many years working out and I am still learning, tweaking, and realizing I have been doing sets all wrong. After a double mastectomy and COVID I struggle with weight gain, motivation and frustration. Now I am focusing on getting my strength back. The rest will come. Now, what I said dealt with the coaches and staff, but the members are just as motivating and encouraging. Only serious athletes need to apply. You will be pushed and encouraged. Before becoming a member to any Crossfit, I recommend you to go to their Crossfit website and look…read moreat their daily workout routines and compare them with other Crossfit's WODs (work out of the day) in the area. If you want a workout that is going to leave you crawling back to your car, Da Factory Crossfit is not for you. I have done other crossfits and have walked out of their place physically exhausted that I was not able to raise my arms; Da Factory never left me with that feeling. If you YouTube Da Factory Crossfit you will see some of the routines crossfit gyms use. Sadly, most of the workouts Da Factory shows you are not done by their regular crossfit members; these workouts, which are separate from your regular crossfit membership, are for their team performance members. The majority of the time spent at Da Factory is talking. The rest, is spent doing a warm-up routine and brushing up on a skill with a PVC pipe. Da Factory insists on familiarizing different skills each day. I understand this is useful in order to prevent injuries when performing each workout, but it is not necessary when it is not even part of the workout for the day. You do not expect to be holding a PVC pipe for 15 mins when you are paying $125 a month to workout. If they want to teach us how to do a proper lift they should do so before the routine. After all the skill talk and warm-up, there was less than twenty minutes for the actual workout. One of their workouts lasted only 12 minutes. I would not recommend checking out this facility with a Goupon. As a Groupon member, I was treated differently than the regular paying members. They made me feel like I was trying to milk them for it's worth when I questioned one of the coaches about the terms on the voucher. Groupon members are stripped of their right to register for classes online and only full paying members have priority. Requests for classes were made through a coach and depending on availability, I was notified whether I had been placed in a class or not. Sometimes they forgot to e-mail me to confirm my class registration. I have decided to give Da Factory 2 stars and not 1 because of two of their coaches. They were passionate and genuinely interested in teaching me; they made sure I was working out properly. I think Da Factory has a lot of potential but first they need to treat everyone equally (this goes for giving everyone the same work out and allowing your Groupon members to choose their own classes online). They also have to kick their workouts up a notch and stop boring people to death with the daily skill talk when it is not part the WOD. Have the talk once a week and get back to what crossfit is supposed to be--bringing people to their knees and within inches of throwing up.

I never thought I would leave a negative review, but this experience definitely deserves one…read more I signed up about a month and a half ago and had no issues until this past week. During a typical workout, I was exercising alone at what turned out to be a double station. When I finished, I realized it was a shared setup. I assumed the next person would simply use the other side so I could complete my final exercise. Instead, a woman approached me in a very aggressive tone and demanded that I move so she could use the station I was on. I calmly explained that I only needed one more exercise and then the machine would be all hers. She refused and began calling me names, repeatedly saying, "You're always a bitch," while calling the trainer, Karen, over for backup. I stayed where I was because I had done nothing wrong. The woman eventually moved to the other station, but she aggressively pushed the machine in anger. I then explained to Karen that this behavior was completely out of line and that there was no reason for me to be disrespected or spoken to in such a hostile way. Unfortunately, Karen minimized the situation, saying it wasn't a big deal and that she didn't want this happening in her class. She suggested we just move on. I felt the situation was being brushed aside, possibly because she has known the other two women longer than she has known me. During my conversation with Karen, the other woman's workout partner, Tania, approached and began insulting me. I told her I was not speaking to her, and she responded, "You don't know me, you need to be careful." I perceived that as a threat. At that point, I informed Karen that I would be filing a police report. Again, she minimized the situation and told me not to do it onsite, adding, "I'm not your parent, I can't tell you what to do." When someone makes statements like that during an argument, it should not be taken lightly. As staff, Karen should have handled the situation professionally instead of dismissing it. The police came, and I filed a report. One of the women later told Karen she felt sorry for ruining her pre-Valentine's Day. Perhaps next time she should manage her anger better. The other woman stated she was a paralegal and "knows the law" as I was leaving, which felt unnecessary and intimidating. After speaking with a few friends who previously attended this gym, I felt leaving this review was important so management can improve how situations like this are handled. Later that afternoon, Karen called to inform me that my membership was being terminated because things "got out of line." I do wonder whether the other two members' accounts were also terminated. I proceed to explain this lady insulted me and called me "bitch" which Karen said is not a big deal when someone calls you that you move on. I am sorry what? I left a message for the manager, Payton, whom I met when I signed up, but I have not received a response yet but I was able to speak to wife about the situation briefly and she assure me he will get back to me. Again still no response from Payton. Based on this experience, this gym will not be getting my money again, and unfortunately, this is the review they earned.

This place has not only changed our routine, but also gives us the motivation to keep coming back. The staff/coaches are great! We really feel right at home every time we come in, and they know how to push us to get our full potential. This has become a lifestyle!! Thank you to David, Nick, Karen and Jay! They have a parking area that they share with the crossfit next door. The place is not too big but it is well designed, they even give you sweat towels and eucalyptus towels and sell water for $1. I like that they have late classes, I was there for their last boot camp of the day at 8:30pm. It was a variety of jump rope, weights, box jumps and push ups. The trainer was explaining every move and correcting form when needed. There is a screen at the top where they have all the moves with times and repetitions so you can always glance back at the screen if you need to plus the coach will help if you are lost. Class was small so it felt almost like a personal trainer session. I will be going back for more!

I was told that a day pass is $20 which I find it super pricey. Jose let me know that they have different gyms throughout Florida.
