    Strawberry shortcake slushie

Had a quick lunch before visiting the DeYoung Family zoo across the street. All 3 of us had bacon cheeseburgers that were perfectly cooked! After an afternoon with the animals we came back for dessert and we're not disappointed. I had the strawberry shortcake slushee - it was layers of ice cold blended strawberries with fluffy whipped cream. It was simply divine. Thank you for great food!

That is the one caution is to be prepared for eating ice cream and smelling the odors of a farm. The ice cream is very good, and there was plenty of seating space for everyone who wanted to sit and eat including some hammock-like seats. After eating the food, you can look at the displays, and climb on the tractors. It is a unique chance to have dessert and a show.

They also had a mechanical bull you could ride, which was super fun. The location was awesome too because they had a mini silo that they made into a stairwell that led into the top of the ice cream barn. Upon entering the ice cream barn it was so cute. They had such nice details throughout and even the bathrooms were painted like a cow. They had a large selection of cedar crest ice cream as well as homemade popcorn. Prices were fantastic! Portions were large. Probably why there was such a big crowd when we got there. I will definitely be back when visiting to try more flavors. Loved the entire experience and wished we had an Ice Cream Barn like this around where I live!!
