I don't know what I would do without Zoomies. I was new in town and needed to find a reliable place for day care and grooming that my pup (who has separation issues) would feel comfortable at. Somehow I found it on my first try! Andrew is wonderful. He listens to your concerns. More importantly, it is run in such a way that my pup feels comfortable there. When I take her there is no reluctance to go in. When I pick her up she is happy as in "I'm happy to see you mom" and not the "get me outta here I never want to come back." For day care, the ability to drop off and pick up without an appointment is wonderful. Her grooming has been perfect. I did initially pick Zoomies partly because of the cage free environment and because if I ever need to leave her overnight it will be cage free. It gives me comfort to know that I have a plan for overnight if I every need it. read more

I have been using the groomers at Zoomies and have been quite happy. However, in September, 2023, all three of the groomers left to join a company that provides grooming services in mobile vans that come to your house. Well, it's the same lady who groomed at Zoomies, the price is much higher. I don't know if Zoomies will hire more groomers. read more

I cannot give this place enough praise. The shop dogs Buffy and Lex give you a warm welcome when you walk through the doors. The staff is kind and obviously loves dogs! We were in town visiting from Denver and they were able to take our dog in for a drop-in daycare day, and it was quite affordable. We were in Santa Fe for 2 days on a road trip and we wanted to sight see but didn't want to leave our dog in the hotel. We called Zoomies in the morning to see if she could do a half day and they were so nice and accommodating! Luckily I already had her vaccination records in an email from our vet (highly recommended this when traveling for this exact reason) so the drop off process was super quick and easy! I had been a long term client of Zoomies until last month. The decline in trustworthy, reliable services has rendered me another lost client. Last time I went to pick up my dog from boarding for 9 days, they had lost his leash and collar. I waited with a line out the door as they've been understaffed, hearing yelling at the dogs in back, while I had to carry my traumatized pup to the car. After providing a receipt, Zoomies would not reimburse me for the collar and leash I had to replace. They recently lost their entire staff and cant seem to handle their business now. Had a terrible experience today at Zoomies. Usually I'm very happy but today I had a terrible experience. It took almost 4 hours to groom my dog which is usually 1 - 1.5 hours. I tried to call 4 or more times to get updates and their voice mail box was full each time. So I went in to get her they said 30 more minutes. I could not wait. So I had to take her basically unfinished. They did give me a slight discount. Apparently there is a direct local line but it's not publicized (not on the website). They said they were terribly understaffed which I know is a problem these days, but being unable to get through to a real person from 1 pm to almost 6 pm is not acceptable. I will probably look for a new place for grooming. read more

My small dog came home traumatized and still is physically and mentally exhausted, smelling like a sewer.

I would never ever trust these people with your dogs. My dog is not perfect by any means but he is always happy and playful especially with people. I had my parents pick him up and the workers didn't know who or where he was. After different people went back to get him they let him out of caged area. Normally he'd run and wag his tail to see his grandparents. Instead he was scared and acting completely out of character. Out of concern they called me, and I began to get concerned. My dog has been through up close fire works and attacked and came out happy and playful as usual. Once I got home it was clear he was not okay. After contacting the managers asking to see the video footage of the day, the response was a no. They informed me that dogs are kenneled when they jump on trainers . Which had occurred with him supposedly once for 3 minutes. They lack transparency, as well as functional staff. Not to mention the price is outrageous! I don't know what happened but I would never bring him back there . It is sad because many of the friends I know who used to go there don't anymore .once management changed things went downhill. If you care about the safety of your pets do not go here . read more

ZOOMIES is great! I travel a lot with my dog and it's hard to find somewhere trustworthy to leave your dog around here. They were super accommodating, getting there a little earlier before they opened and staying a little later after they closed due to my schedule. AND they were able to cut my dogs nails! I've been to so many places in NM and they can't do it (he's super wiggly, not aggressive) so that was a major plus! My dog is a cattle dog mix and came home so tired, which is always a good sign. My wife and are extremely weary of leaving our dog alone and never really go anywhere without him. But we did want to check out Meow Wolf for a couple hours when we visited SF from out of town. Our boy is 13 and iffy with big dogs but the folks at Zoomies made sure to take good care of him and keep him separate from the boys. My little Bichon has loved going to Zoomies the past few months we have been in Santa Fe. I find everyone there to be super nice, and she cannot wait to get there. My biggest complaint is that she smells terrible after a play day at Zoomies-- to the point that I do not think we will be continuing there in the future - its getting to $$$$ for me to have to bath her weekly just to get rid of the smell. She never smells from the doggie daycare I take her to in AZ. They have a faux grass along the side of the play areas with drains under it. The workers always hose it down and all the dogs pee in that one area. At Zoomies, indoors, dogs will just pee on the floor, and then my small playful puppy rolls around on the floor and smells awful - I really wish they would fix this situation and get some drains installed and designated pp area and I would be happy to take her there. read more

I used Zoomies day camp last weekend for my little pup--they were so friendly, and I felt so comfortable leaving my skittish little guy with their staff member. They sent me a photo of him playing with the the other dogs during his time there (which he LOVES), as well as a "report card" for his behavior, and which dogs he made friends with. So cute. I usually hesitate to leave Archer with people he doesn't know, since like I said, he's a skittish and shy rescue animal. But when I came to pick him up, he was clearly at home and happy. We had not traveled with our dog before, but we took him on a road trip to Santa Fe. He was a great little car rider! We had some anxiety about leaving him for daycare in an unfamiliar place. Hi it's Chloe the chihuahua. My mom took me here when she could not get through to me. All I can say being 6month at first and now almost a year Zoomies has made me into a wonderful girl. DO NOT BOARD YOUR DOGS HERE! My bulldog suffered extensive injuries from another dog while under their care. They wouldn't even acknowledge the incident,( when they are the ones who called me while I was out of town to tell me my dog was injured. After I brought it to their attention with vet bills, they did an about face and said it wasn't their fault.) They never offered to pay for vet bills or refund my boarding fees and take accountability. I never write reviews, but this one I had to to prevent the same thing happening to someone else.
