My family and I (5 of us)came to eat here after church today, and unfortunately we came across the worst cashier ever. The service was horrible! The cashier was super impatient, rolling his eyes and sucking on his teeth. This was my first time here and I wanted to give it a shot since I always pass it. This was my family's second time and they liked it before but the service was a complete fail. And I know there's always two sides to a story so let me tell you what we did that I feel might have added more to his 'already bad day'. As my cousin was ordering, she ordered 2 family packs with no cheese, my aunt came and said to the cashier no I do want cheese, make 4 with cheese and then I came along and said no onion for all of them. Mind you, he started with his attitude since the beginning and with us telling him the order he was getting annoyed. So disappointed. Club sandwich is on special for $6.95. The only place I've ever been to in my life that doesn't put cheese on a club sandwich then charges you $.60 for cheese. I had them refund me the money because I am sick and tired of the false advertising and the up charges for something so simple. While the food is pretty good, the business practices are deceiving. A BLT--yup--that's what I had...didn't want a burger, a burrito, nada..wanted something "healthy " How can you review a BLT!!! It was delicious. The toast was a thick, perfectly toasted WHITE bread, the bacon was THICK cut and cooked PERFECT, with just the right amount of crunch, sweet yummy tomatoes, slabs of them and crispy fresh lettuce...all with a good dose of mayo.!! Vunderbar! They had a basket of avocados on the counter at a buck each...so I said "lemme buy one" The owner said.."you want it on the sandwich" YOU BET...He said lemme fix for you---he sliced it all up nice and tidy....put it in a little white basket...then he chuckled--for a buck you get the whole thing (like groceries) if I add it to your sandwich in the order--it's an extra 1.25. This is an update from my previous post: I love the food, but the owners are outright jerks. I was eating there with some friends and they were closing in an hour and a half. We were the only customers left in the store. We had two bottles of ketchup and the owner asked if she could have them back. We were only eating there for about 10 minutes by that time, so none of us were even halfway done with our meals, so we politely told her that we were still eating and would still like to use the ketchup, she YELLED at us to squirt a big dollop on our trays and grabbed both bottles from our tables. It was a completely embarrassing moment for me, because I had friends from back home who had come down to Riverside to see me who were at the table with me. On top of that, while they were cleaning, they were trying to kick us out. They didn't snap at us (surprisingly) to leave, but 10 minutes after the ketchup debacle, they TURNED the lights off on us while we were eating, again to try and tell us to leave. Finally, they just yelled at us to get out. Unbelievable. Until they get that right, I'm not coming back. read more

The hamburgers are so delicious!!! Compared to other hamburgers places like Five Guys, Farmer Boys, Bakers, and Cowboys, Zorba's by far is the best!!! I love the sauce they put in their hamburgers. Im definitely a regular and whats cool is this place never gets crowded. The workers are super nice and chill. One day, I forgot that Ranch dressing costed 30 cents and the guy just gave it to be for free, how nice!! The prices are pretty average, yet the portion size is huge, so thats a score!! Very unprofessional to demean your staff in front of his coworker and customers. If you have a problem with your staff, address that in private. I'm going to start off by saying that the fries are kind of gross. But the place isn't called Zorba's Fries. It's Zorba's burgers. And as far as a non "gourmet" burger restaurant, these guys excel in the burger department. The ingredients are all pretty good quality, and the burgers are juicy and perfectly cooked. I'd say it's comparable to In N Out in taste, but they also have a massive variety. Prices are really good, average fast food prices, for above average food? WIN. They've got a pastrami burger that I didnt see till AFTER i'd already ordered, so next time. They also got a breakfast menu, some mexican food, and w/e. The place was surprisingly clean, which I wasn't expecting from some tiny burger joint. None of the staff seems to speak fluent english but who cares? They're all nice and make good food. Some hole in the wall spots are great, some aren't. This one 'aren't'. Burgers have tiny patties and are 75% shredded lettuce, fries are limp, chili on the fries are borderline nasty. You will squash your appetite here, maybe because the food is gross and it's all filler. The owner (I'm guessing) acts like its a burden to take an order, the bathrooms are stank. If you would like to have a business attempt to scam you then eat here!! I take photos of old Circle K buildings and spotted this business in one of them while driving on Mission. I pulled over across the street and took two photos. My fiance and i were hungry so we decided to give this place a try. Big F"N mistake!! We ordered two 1/4 lb cheeseburgers, fries and two waters. The Asian guy behind the counter rang up our order $10.50 I watched as he slid my Bank of America credit card TWICE!!! He then hands me the slip and tells me my card was declined. I immediately went out to my car and called B of A customer service. They stated that the card was OK and said the transaction was approved for that amount. The woman on the line said to hand the phone to the clerk. He was very rude and refused to do so. I then stated as I held the phone up with the woman standing by demanding our food. He states that he could not do anything about the transaction because it was on Saturday and I would have to come back in three days to get my money back. I replied "bullshit" told the woman to cancel the transaction for attempted fraud! I flipped him off calling him some choice words and we walked out the door.
