Wow this restaurant was awesome! The service was excellent, very friendly, seated right away and food came out quickly. Some of my favorite items were the Peking duck, sesame chicken, and pot stickers. The fried rice was also really good, the scallion pancakes were delicious and crispy and the sautéed vegetables (especially the eggplant and string beans) were delicious too. I was too full to try the soup dumplings but look forward to that next time!

I passed by this restaurant many times and saw that they have Peking Duck here, so I finally decided to give it a try. Called in at 11 am to place my order and was quoted 40 minutes for pickup. I got the whole Peking Duck and Braised Meatballs. When I arrived, I waited another 15 min. They were quite busy due to a school/ lunch field trip with about 20 kids & 2 adults. There were only 1 server and 1 cook at the time. The server was very polite & friendly despite how busy he was juggling with everyone's orders all by himself. You can check-in on Yelp or pay cash to get 10% off. As for the food, the Peking Duck is definitely not worth $80 imo. There were 12 small pancakes, 2 containers of carved duck, scallion & cucumber/ hoisin sauce, as well as 2 quarts of soup that were made with the duck bones + cabbage. The skin wasn't crispy, had lots of excess fat, the duck itself was bland & greasy, and soup was extremely oily. The meatballs were dry and tough, they were not good. It was a disappointing experience, and not to mention, the food gave me stomach problems afterward. Maybe their dumplings are good, but I won't be trying them...

A good friend I trust told me that the best Peking duck on Long Island was in Glen cove. I was very skeptical. Maybe the best pizza or Italian food, but Peking duck?? As it turns out, it was very good. I think it also helps that the guy that carves up the duck is AMAZING! He so much meat off the duck. And then top it all off, they took the carcass and made a soup out of it for no extra charge. The really traditional duck houses in the city used to do that but you don't see it any more. The one change I would suggest is to put all the skins on top of the meat rather than just stacking them haphazardly because the skin pieces that are not on top get a little soggy. But I can forgive that because there was so much meat! As for the rest of the food, they were good but not at the same level except maybe the soup. My daughter had the hot and sour soup that she said was good and it came in this really cool bowl with a Buddha lid. I of course had to rub the belly although after all the duck meat, I could have just rubbed my own belly. The pan fried dumplings were ok and although the soup dumplings were tasty, the sauce was odd. Maybe not enough black vinegar. The sautéed pea shoots were ok. We also got talked into ordering the clams because the waiter suggested we have them, but they were a little spicy and needed rice as a side, which they did not provide. And we knew we had ordered a lot of food and did not want to waste the calories on rice. So we suffered through it. They really do a nice job with presentation starting with the napkins folded up like a rose, and all the nice bowls and pots. We will definitely be back for the duck!!

Came here for dinner Pros: - The Peking Duck was delicious! Crispy and tender. Wasn't a big fan of the soup that was made with the leftover duck. I think radishes would've added more flavor to the soup. - Scallion pancake was flaky and flavorful - Pork and shrimp with chives dumpling was pretty good but the skin was a bit too thick - Parking in the back Cons: - Waited close to an hour for the Squirrel Fish and it was so disappointing. We followed up on this dish so many times and they kept saying it was coming. When it came, it was extremely fried and lacked flavor. - General Tso Chicken had too much breading and lacked flavor.

Cute place we thought was gonna be a mostly takeout place but they had a cute couple of booths to sit in. Went later in the day for an early dinner. Had the pork soup buns (eat these when you first get them as they start to stick to the bottom of the streamer and a few tore and we lost the soup. Also had the lamb dumplings and the baked beef patties. Food was yummy but service was a little slow.

The dumplings were delicious, the pineapple shrimp had great flavor. The service was very good and staff were very friendly. They had nice wall paintings and music was nice. They also had the NU Rangers game on. I highly recommend you stop by.

Easily the best Chinese food in the area. Higher quality ingredients and amazing flavors. Levels above the usual takeout spots.

Such a satisfying lunch--this place continues to impress…read more Ken recognized us immediately and welcomed us back--always a thoughtful touch. Service from Ken and Alex was attentive, seamless, and effortless throughout. The hot and sour soup with grilled shrimp was rich, comforting, and perfectly balanced with just the right kick. The half Peking duck--served with delicate pancakes and sauces on the side--was cooked perfectly, boneless, and absolutely delicious. I especially loved the crispy skin--so flavorful and satisfying. The Malaysian-style red curry with seasonal vegetables, roti, and grilled shrimp, served with brown rice, was equally flavorful and well executed. Prices reflect the quality--and it shows. Delicious food, warm service--we'll definitely be back.

Also, early on, we had a little service issue that was tacitly resolved in our favor. We only wanted to order appetizers at first and later order the main courses. The server told us words to the effect that they take the order for everything at the same time because if later the restaurant is packed, the kitchen gets overwhelmed, and, also, they bring out the food whenever it's ready. As requested, we gave her our order for everything, but ultimately she was able to just serve the appetizers first and then pause until we were done with them before she brought out the main courses. My wife wanted a sweet white wine with her fish, like a Mosel. The closest they said they had was a fruity white Riesling, called Selbach/Incline, which turned out to be very fruity and delicious!

Every dish tasted like it was made with pride, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to make customers happy. It's the kind of place where you can feel the passion through the food. We ordered the Shrimp Shumai, Pork Tiny Pan Fried Dumplings, Honey Roast Pork Bun, Vegetable Spring Roll, Honey Roast Pork Belly, and the Fried Coconut Bread with Condensed Milk... and every single item was delicious. We loved it so much that before leaving, we ordered two Beef Lo Meins to go, along with another order of the Pork Tiny Pan Fried Dumplings and the Fried Coconut Bread with Condensed Milk! As if the incredible food wasn't enough, the staff was incredibly kind. As we were leaving, they surprised us with a complimentary sample of something that's coming soon, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made us feel genuinely appreciated. It's not a huge restaurant, but don't let the size fool you. Sometimes the smallest places serve the biggest flavors, and this is definitely one of them. We'll absolutely be back, and I can't wait to try more of the menu. Highly recommend!
