I found this place by searching restaurants in my general area. The name caught my attention and after a look at their menu, my buddy and I decided on this place for some food to go. Upon entering I noticed how organized and clean the place was. That is a huge plus for me. They have a decent amount of tables and a big screen TV. I ordered a couple Shawarmas one chicken and one beef. I got one with fries and the other with salad. From what I could tell everything was cooked/prepared to order. Zuki's is one of my favorites. The garlic sauce is amazing (I'm not typically a garlic sauce person). I always get the chicken shawarma plate with the spicy hummus. I also get the fries and an extra garlic sauce to dip the fries in. Good portion sizes to share or have leftovers. read more

I can not say enough good things about Zuki's!!! Their food is so flavorful! I had the combo plate tonight, and it did not disappoint! Kafta, Beef Kabob, and Chicken Kabob. Came back one month later and dined in. But have sent my husband back to this place to get me more of the Tabbouleh they make here! It is literally the most delicious I have ever had. You can actually TASTE the love that it is made with! I spoke to the mom on this last visit in, and let her know that she was truly gifted in the kitchen. I love this little place. We were just here for the weekend and out of all the places we tried, this was by far, the best experience overall! From the outside, you wouldn't expect or picture the inside to be so open, clean and inviting. The Kafta plate was amazing, with the rice, salad and hummus! Soooo delicious!! We were craving a pita wrap and this place hit the spot! They have an awesome deal for their happy hour which I took a picture of. This review is for 11/27/2024, Thanksgiving Eve, around 6 PM visit. I actually frequent this place every now and then and actually agree with the 5 stars review (food wise). But tonight visit left a bad taste in my head and I didn't realized it until I drove away with the food. When I walked in there was a couple ahead of me so I walked straight to the bathroom. A minutes later, I I heard BANG BANG BANG on the door. I said someone is in here. Than BANG again. When I walked out, I thought it was the man of the couple. Nope, He never went to use the restroom. I realized it was one of the employee who probably thought I was homeless. That was why when I walked out they were surprise. Hey boss man review the security tape and you will see. You get to choose your hummus type, I got spicy. Underneath the mountain of gyro, is amazing yellow rice! Very flavorful even by its self. The side Greek salad was so good, fresh veggies with balsamic vinegar on top. The hummus was also for sure top tier! No complaints there. I'm super impressed that the pita was both crisp and soft at the same time. One side is toasted while the other is soft. It also came with a size of tzatziki sauce( unpictured) Having a boring soft pita can make or break a meal, this DID NOT DISAPPOINT! We got a chicken kabab wrap and the vegetarian platter to split, best falafel I've had in Phoenix, dolmas had a delicious unique spice flavor and the meat was well seasoned and tender. Baba wasn't the best I've had but it's solid, as is the hummus. Mint profile in the tabouli was perfect. Pita doesn't taste like it's made there but I could be wrong, it's still fluffy and tasty. Nothing had that old oil taste, even the fries. Veggies all tasted fresh. It's affordable and service was fast and friendly. If you are looking for great food and affordability come here!! Lovely Mom and Pop Greek fast-casual restaurant. I had the gyro platter and wife had the gyro with rice. The good, the bad and the ugly of this place is that it's all good--great in my opinion. What a gem. The salad was fresh, crisp and tangy. The long grain rice was fluffy, al dente and satisfying. The red pepper humus was smooth and creamy with a sweet note from the red sweet peppers. The pita bread was hot, fresh and delicious. The gyro meat had a unique texture that I've never tasted in fifty years of sampling this greek delicacy: the meat was succulent. Gyro meat can be dry but this wasn't. I wondered as I enjoyed this meal if it was because it was carved slightly thicker or if it was just the chef's attention to detail of doneness as the meat was vertically roasted. Regardless, it was to be savored in each and every bite. Now tzatziki sauce is where nearly all Greek places fail me, this place didn't disappoint, creamy-sour with a nice cucumber hit--perfect compliment to the gyro meat, pita bread, even the fork! If you're passing through Phoenix on I-17 and you are hungry give this place a try. It's 2 or 3 minutes off the freeway with off street parking.
