Ive been there three times over four years. Now im truly certain about my opinion of their food. This is the worst shawarma that ive ever tasted. First time in and I think they are closing soon. My friend who has a really restricted diet due to severe allergies, so we carefully selected this India place. My rice was dry and flavorless the meat was burnt and the hummus wasn't flavorful either after looking as such. The place was ok, and being that they closed down says a lot. They weren't friendly, but that could be just a cultural barriers a lot of foreigners choose to carry, definitely one sided because why would we even try the place?! Anyhow, that didn't deter us from ordering it was just once we got the food it was just disappointing. This place is located on Baseline on the NE corner near 27th Ave. I recently have gone to a few Middle Eastern/Greek places. This place is a little more expensive than Green corner in Chandler but I would say the taste on the Gyro (see photo). The hot sauce is pretty good. The tahini and pickles in the gyro add something more. If you are out in this out of the way location, it is worth it. read more

This mediterranean-style resto has come a long way since its beginning and our first visit a couple of years back - it has improved and making it a worthwhile go to for Mediterranean in an area lacking this style of cuisine. Although it does not rank in my top ten of mediterranean foods in the Valley it does well for an unpretentious shopping center storefront. This moderately and sparsely decorated location, with just the basics in décor and seating fixtures, its offerings are reasonably priced, relatively good and quenches the desire for this cuisine without driving for miles into the city. They offer the customary Beef, Chicken, and Lamb dishes of Mediterranean-style foods like Tandoori, Greek Salads, Kabobs, Gyros, Halal, Shawarma, Tzatziki, Falafel and more. On our last recent visit, we tried both the Gyro Plate with Feta Cheese and the Chicken Kabab Plate with Feta Cheese. Both were more than adequate in their presentation but somewhat lacking in their traditional exuberant flavors. They have improved considerably since our previous visit, and we look forward to coming back... with the expectation that they continue to improve on what stands to be a decent offering. The falafel was very bland in flavor and wished I would have just stuck to a meat plate instead. The rice and salad was okay. I had high hopes but don't see myself coming back. Updating my review because the last 2 times my friend and I ordered from this location, definitely was not like our previous experience. Food and service was definitely not consistent and definitely disappointing to the degree that we have opted to give this place a break. The lady working here does not seem to have the same care we encountered previously. I ordered the falafel salad again and it is a pretty good size salad, but it only comes with 1/2 of a two ounce cup of dressing. What's not so enjoyable is there is an additional charge of you want more dressing and tzatziki. We totally understand prices are rising for everything, including the price of our salads....however, the least they could do is fill the 2 ounce cup waits enough dressing for at least some of the salad. My friend had the tandoori chicken salad and was also disappointed. Maybe the worker needs some help making the food? But she seems to be miserable. I paid $17 for a bed of rice with two tiny kebabs, and 2 tablespoons of hummus as seen in the picture. This place first of all is a rip off, it's way too expensive for the quantity, and the quality of food that they are providing. In addition, there is absolutely no flavor in the meat. It was a complete and utter disappointment. They gave one tiny quarter slice of a pita to go with the grocery store bought canned hummus that they thinned down with.....I can't believe I'm saying this, but water?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!!! I have never had a worse experience with Middle Eastern food. And trust me I've had Middle Eastern food throughout the world. It seems like just about anyone can Google Middle Eastern recipes online and think they can open a restaurant. It blows my mind to realize how bad this food truly was!! I love getting take out from this place!! Their falafel is very large, crispy, and seasoned perfectly. The falafel wrap is my favorite for this reason! My baby loves the baba ghanoush and falafel, too. The Greek fries are also a favorite in our house! I've never been inside (always delivery) so I can't speak to the service or ambiance. read more

I walked in 10 mins later and they were boxing up my order, which was a pleasant surprise. I ordered the spicy chicken plate and the beef plate, with no changes. It came to $34.45 plus tip. Each plate came with a small cup of tzatziki sauce, a quarter of a pita pocket, a salad, hummus, the entrée and a mound of seasoned rice. The meats (we shared) were succulent, spiced well and plentiful. The salad was surprisingly good and the hummus was tasty, even tho it came with a store bought pita quarter. I have been here at least 5 times. I order to-go online & drive to pickup - it's usually ready within 20-25 min. They keep it in a warmer until you arrive, so it stays hot & fresh. My orders have always been complete/exactly as I ordered. We've tried the Tandoori chicken, chicken Shawarma, gyros, hummus, baba ghanoush & dolmas. All the meat is perfectly seasoned & tender. Good spot for a quick lunch! Super nice staff-when I ordered the tandoori chicken, he asked if spicy was ok. Since I'm a spice wimp, he recommended the shwarma meat instead. The large meat chunks in the shwarma wrap were quite smoky and delicious-loved the whole thing. I thought the pita that came with the hummus was great-not too thick and great flavor. It's rare you find a place with great food AND great service. I find myself sacrificing one for the other all too often. This hidden gem moved and we were so excited when we found their new location. All of the food is phenomenal. Their chicken shawarma plate is my favorite, but all of their food so far has been amazing. Gyros, salads, hummus, even their pita bread is always on point! The food is always authentic and flavorful and fresh. I much rather support this small family owned spot, than the other Mediterranean chains nearby that seem mediocre in comparison. Upon arriving to get my food, she greeted me with a smile as I walled up to pay for my meal. The restaurant was very tidy and simple. After picking up my order, I noticed that the plate was pretty heavy, which made me think I was getting my money's worth ($21). After opening my box, I found 8 little nuggets of chicken, a ton of rice, a half of a pita into two triangles, a side of flavorless hummus, and a bland side salad. However, those eight pieces of chicken were absolutely delicious! It was smoky, and well seasoned. But that does not take away the fact that this meal cost me $21. read more
