I need to preface this review by saying that this review is no reflection on Molly , the sweet and caring manager of the spa . She is wonderful, hard working , and deserves 5-stars . I feel absolutely crappy even writing this review because I adore her as a person . This review is how the owners decided to handle a situation . Let me first say, I had a Groupon for two weeks unlimited cryotherapy . I was not a big spender to their company. I'm a frugal mom of little kids who did this to treat herself and help my body feel better after 3 recent pregnancies . I had gone to approximately 7 (I think) appointments and then the last one (last Saturday) , I knew something was wrong after my appointment. My calf felt like a bad sunburn, and I sort of hoped it was just a super cold sensation that hadn't fully "thawed" . As the day went on, I knew it was burned . It wasn't overly red, but super sore and hypersensitive . The next morning (Sunday) after taking a shower , the hem of the towel touching it was painful. It looked like a bunch of inflamed hair follicles and slight redness in the general area . Yesterday I was out all day and by today (Tuesday ) in the morning , my calf was visibly blotchy . I had to cancel my waxing appointment on Sunday (was charged a 25.00 fee for cancelling) because I didn't want to wax over burned skin . I had a scheduled appointment today (Tuesday), and knew I was not going to do the service since my skin is still burned and I don't want to freeze skin that's already compromised . I went in and spoke to Molly and she took a picture and was wonderful and said she was going to talk to the managers and see what they had to say about it . At this point , I was feeling ok ... honestly didn't think much of it . Things happen , what are you going to do, right ? What really irritated me was that when Molly got back to me like she said she would , the owners response seemed super uncaring of the situation . I was offered local cryo , and a couple things I didn't really need . One I might be interested in they couldn't offer me because it was a more expensive package . They didn't offer to refund anything ... they basically said stuff like this can happen with cold as well as hot ... put some aloe on it for a couple days and then I can feel free to resume my service . As someone who works in customer service ... the fact that the owners were concerned with another service being more expensive so I didn't qualify felt a bit like a slap in the face . Your customer got injured. You cost me money (which I honestly wasn't even caring about), but when you sort of act like "oh well, things happen ... put some aloe on it" ... it really felt shitty . They asked if my socks were pulled up all the way... really ? I don't want to leave a one star review ... once again because of how sweet and wonderful the girl who actually deals with the customers is... but seriously ? Get a grip. read more

I came here today to try out my Groupon. Two Weeks of Unlimited Whole Body Cryotherapy Sessions for $77. https://www.groupon.com/deals/arctic-care-cryo-spa-and-weight-loss-1 The location is a bit tucked away in a building complex next to some other clinics for chiropractors and so forth. I met one staff member. I would describe her service as very professional and polite. She gave me the forms to fill out for safety and liability insurance purposes. They don't want you using cryotherapy if you are pregnant or have specific medical problems. She went over cryotherapy with me and answered all my questions. The atmosphere and decor of the business was higher end than any I have seen for a cryotherapy clinic. There is lots of room and space compared to the other cryotherapy places I have been. You have a private room with a door with a lock. You have a locker to use to lock your clothes away while you change to into a robe socks they give you (neat and clean). There is a great mirror in the room too. The cryo chamber room is neat with two chairs and the machine. There the technician's certifications are present on the wall next to the machine. It was here my technician took my skin temperature with a laser thermometer (reads your skin temp without touching you) and gave me clean and comfortable gloves to wear. She took my temperature from my left leg. The cryo machine worked like any other I had been in and I enjoyed its benefits. After the three minutes cryo shower was over my technician took my skin temp again. I believe this process of taking my skin temp is for safety in case I got too cold. The technician was with me the whole time and monitored both me and the machine. There was no chance of anything going wrong under her watch and even if did she would have stopped the machine and insured my safety. I was in good hands and no danger. After the treatment she showed me to a power plate (some kind of vibration machine to help with my circulation). I really got a kick out of vibrating after the cryo session and recommend you bring you phone to play music. I danced for 10 minutes. The experience was that of a five star establishment. I am halfway done with my Laser Lipo I got off of Groupon and this was the best purchase I have made this month. Although my results are slow... I cannot discount the convenience, customer service and comfort I feel when coming to my LL appointments. The first day I came in I met Kristin (not sure how she spells it so apologies if incorrect), she was very calm, professional and informative about what LL does for your body and fat cells. She answered whatever questions I asked and made it a smooth process. I am not use to exposing my midsection since I've gained weight previously from working at a desk with high stress levels and after the first time I felt less and less uneasy. The first step here is filling out your forms, then they measure your area you are working on. After that you lay down and get the paddles strapped on and it warms up. There are two smaller parts that are placed on your lymphatic areas. It is not painful or uncomfortable, you are then left alone for 10 minutes and the technician (either Kristin or Hailey) comes back to assist you in removing the paddles. You then get on a full body vibration machine to shake around your fat cells and increase lymphatic drainage for about 12-13 minutes. Pro Tip* as explained by the ladies here: place your stance wider or more narrow depending on preference, a more narrow stance prevents your whole body to your head from shaking, you can also bend your knees is this feels better for you. The machine gives you 3 small breaks in between minutes to rest and breathe and doesn't shut off until you reach 0 minutes so stay on the machine. While doing LL, it is obviously recommended that you drink tons of water and eat more whole and healthier foods. No eating 1 hour prior to LL and 3 hours after it. As an observation, I have seen tons of customers come in for full body cryotherapy and they have the best deals on Groupon! Another Pro Tip* if you have time on the weekdays, they have full body cryotherapy on weekdays M-F 3pm to 6pm for $20!!! This is good for soreness from working out and they also offer spot treatment and facials using Cryo. Anyway, this place is so convenient for me to visit 3 times per week since it's near home and in a low key business plaza. There is always parking, the environment is very calm and office is very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Both Kristin and Hailey are professionally and polite ladies, I do recommend coming here not only for the price but the fact that they make you feel comfortable here. I wanted to leave them a tip for their assistance with this whole process but tips are not accepted. So here I am raving about how easy, pain-free and convenient it is to make yourself feel better! So far so good! Doing the lipo laser treatments on my tummy. Had my first session and all went well. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I'm looking forward to my future appointments and will post before and after pictures. If the treatments works, I will surely be doing it on other parts of my body too and suggesting to my friends and clients. I've only been to Arctic Care a few times thus far but it's been a great experience, far superior than two other cryotherapy centers I've tried. This is the most organized in terms of how they flow clients through, the cleanest and what I like the most is that they take your temperature prior to entering the Cryo chamber and immediately after to ensure you've achieved the 40 degree body temperature drop recommended, and based on your measured temperature, they can increase or decrease the time to ensure you achieve the accurate results. Great staff, great service! I love coming here and getting cold for 2-3 minutes. It is invigorating and is hopefully helping in my healing after a concussion and back trauma. I haven't tried other services as I am only interested cryotherapy. Great location, definitely give them a try. read more

Had purchased a 2 session Groupon and the front desk lady who was working at 12(Thursday) was completely unprofessional. I had arrived 5 minutes late due to a traffic jam and was rushed, which I understand but what I really didn't like was that she checked my temperature of my calves and it was 52 degrees and I was pretty much kicked out. From my first session which I enjoyed, the other lady had told me that they ensure that the temperature drops below 40. I am unsatisfied with the standard and inconsistency. read more

I bought a Groupon for the laser lipo. The process itself is good and works for me. This place and the staff didn't. They're very pushy about their packages and having to buy their other products claiming that it would make it more likely for the process to work. At one point there were 4 staff workers and myself crammed in one room trying to push their detox program on me. I nodded and smiled because I just wanted to get it over with and get out of there. I felt intimidated, frustrated, and annoyed really. I bought the 3 sessions deal and ended up forfeiting 2 after the first one. My husband noticed a change in my physic this morning so I felt compelled to write a review. I have Arctic Care Cryo Spa to thank for that nice compliment from my husband today. I get the laser lipo and then she put me on a vibrating machine after each treatment. It's working so I am happy to write a review. I noticed in the other rooms they do several different services so I will try them out as well. I like the new painless technology they offer and am loving the results. Also the lovely girl at the front desk always have a cheerful and helpful attitude which makes all the difference. I have been to other spa clinics in the past with not such nice staff and that is a huge deterrence for me so it's really nice having a great staff providing services. I also recommend you to take a brisk walk or jog after each treatment. They have plenty of sidewalk space to go exercise off the fat they just killed. It helps flush out toxins and excess fat from your body to get the maximum results. Plus it's beautiful weather to enjoy your time you are spending on bettering the new you.
