Red flags popped up (cash or Zelle only?), but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. I trusted this was a legitimate business. I could go on and on about the details of each shady hint, but let's cut to the fact that, although I remained friendly and forgiving with her lack of communication and pressing of our time, we did not receive his suit. I kindly left a voicemail for a refund yet she still did not respond. I called this morning now (day AFTER prom) and I more firmly asked for my refund, at which point she answered the phone and told me my son's suit has been in her shop for several days!! I became angry because she lied to me either yesterday, when I had her in the phone the afternoon of the prom and she told me the "shipment" won't be in until 2pm, or she's lying now. Either way, I want her to hand us a suit or our money! I've given her every chance to make this right yet she yelled at me on the phone saying she "don't do refunds" and hung up on me. I had never heard of the Calder Caramel shirts and he spent time to educate me about the best colors for my skin type, the brand, etc. The shirts are not cheap, but neither am I, but still I decided to wait. He was not only accepting of that, but almost encouraging of it. But after leaving I turned around and went back in to buy the shirt. He had just closed the store, but opened the door and let me in to buy the shirt. He repeated if I have any troubles with it then do not hesitate to return it. I would've rather been told 2 months ago that you may never stock that shirt again, or that you're unsure when your supplier will come through, or that you don't do exchanges but I can buy another.
