Of all the Boot Barns I go to, this is the worse one. Customer service isn't good. Smaller location. The parking situation here is horrible as well. They don't even offer bags when you buy things. I'll pay 10 cents for a bag if it was offered. Asking an employee a question seems bothersome. Like if they had other things to do besides customer service. Just make the drive to San Dimas, Fontana, or Pasadena. Avoid this one. read more

It had been a while since I visited this location and I must say I'm impressed. I love the new set up. It feels everything is placed very conveniently and the ease of movement through the store is great. As always I end up buying more than what I came in for. I was helped by Carlos, very friendly and knowledgeable and helped me find what I needed. The selection was great and definitely much larger than I remember. Came to boot barn in upland which has a big selection and they carry everything needed to became your own self cowboy or cowgirl. Love this store, they have everything from boots, belts, apparel, hats, jackets, wallets you name it! Personnel was super helpful and very knowledgeable, Betty help me with the purchases and signed me up for their members reward program. Definitely recommend coming to the store to try the boots because almost every pair felt different on me. Price is moderate to high depending on what you are looking for. I came in today on Christmas Eve to pick up my order I had placed online and when I came in they helped me out instantly, but the boots they grabbed for me looked like they had already been worn and damaged. I asked them if I can switch them out with another color cause they didn't have anymore of my size available. They said yes and she gave me a hard time making me get back in line to do an exchange. It was just unnecessary and uncalled for when they could have just done it really quick. It was especially weird they tried to throw those beat up boots in my online order. Once it was time to get it shaped, the associate that shaped my hat took a personal phone call on his cell phone and had a conversation the whole time he was steaming my hat. Karla was incredibly helpful--she took the time to pull out several different sizes, making sure we found the perfect fit. Would you open up a car dealership and have no salesman on site? Well, that's what you get when you go to this boot barn. Needed help with a hat and unfortunately they don't have people working that can help you until the evening. I can't even begin to imagine trying to understand why they would sell hats and not have somebody that can actually help you with the hats. The workers that were there were nice and all, but that is absolutely ridiculous That any business would sell a particular product and have no nobody there to help you with that particular product that they sell. It amazes me how my experiences vary depending on the location. The staff and management at the Upland store are inviting, friendly, and SO helpful. It's like they take pride in their job and actually care about their customers experiences! The exact opposite of what we encountered at the Orange location where they all were sullen, morose, and even insolent. We joked that everyone must be hungover from the night before! I'm a size 10 on top and a size 8 on the bottom, but they told me they didn't carry my "size" (ummm can you say public humiliation?) and wouldn't accept our $15 loyalty rewards coupon for a full priced $265 pair of boots. The women's clothes selection is small, no kids clothes section. The store Layout is very crowded. I have to say I'm extremely upset because I've never had a bad experience at boot barn previous to this! I called ahead to see if they had any carharrt WOMEN scrub shirt the girl told me they had one last one left in medium I was so excited to go pick it up I drove an hour in traffic with my impatient upset toddler just to get there and it was a MENS scrub shirt. Clearly a men's shirt. I mean I know my troubles are not her problem but just lesson of the story please take a little extra precautions next time and double check to make sure the article of clothing is what the customer is asking for because it would have honestly saved me a huge head ache. read more

I've never had a poor experience at a Boot Barn but as I was looking through the clothing and jewelry, the staff was watching me. I've never felt so suspect. Lol. Admittedly I walked into The store in workout clothing and a pony tail, but seriously . . . The jewelry was not so fine as to jeopardize a potential customer. In fact, I really loved a nice set to wear that night to a concert, it would have been about $35, but I was so offended at the surveillance tactics that I just left the set there, un-purchased. I had a wardrobe malfunction at work and needed a pair of jeans. According to the website, if the order was placed before 2pm then it would be delivered same Day. I ordered at 11pm. At 2:42 pm I called the Upland store to check the status and was placed on hold while the order was pulled (they hadn't even pulled it yet). Then they told me the order is ready for pickup, they didn't bother to read the order which was setup for same day delivery. I even ordered two pairs of pants to be well over the minimum order required. At 4:43 the order was finally out for delivery. Which I ended up driving home on a motorcycle with a rip down my jeans. It wasn't until 6:33pm that I received an email stating that the return is being processed, that I allegedly requested! I then called the store and was told that they attempted to contact me about delivery, which was 100% lies! I have ZERO emails and ZERO missed calls. Now, in order to get the pants that I ordered I have to place ANOTHER $150 order while it takes them 5 days to process a return I never wanted in the first place! Never had issues with boot barn until now, this was atrocious! read more
