I came in here expecting a lot of items to be grudge. A lot of the items are dark. They have a lot of pretty items in the store though! Service is excellent from the lady working in the store today. She led me to one of the hats with jewel embroidery. It was so cute. It will definitely be a staple for my closet. If you want to return anything that you paid, that got sent to zumiez because they didn't have it in stock and try returning it and don't help because I don't show the confirmation, when I showed the ordered receipt for delivery did not accept that and have bad signal in their shop do not recommend for returning items save you time go to ups 4/10 read more

For the past few months this store has gone further and further downhill. Entire shelving units are empty in here and not just one, multiple. The first time I noticed, I thought they might be in the middle of a new floor set but I guess not since there have been empty spaces throughout the store for a few months now. When I asked a female store employee what was going on, she said whenever they get any product, specifically some brands, they sell out within a few days. I don't get how or why they wouldn't just get restocked with the same or new product. The store looks like it was hit by the Black Friday train only it sure as hell ain't Black Friday anymore. I have an odd relationship with Zumiez. Since I'm at many skate parks, I tend to find a lot of skaters/riders who need parts. I end up helping many of them. I should probably sign up for the rewards program. I would rather shop at a local shop, but strangely in Northern California, there aren't that many local shops. My buddy needed trucks and bearings, so we headed to the mall. We probably could have bought them at Lake Cunningham Regional Skate Park, though, for a similar price. It was just a matter of waiting on the bus. Had we been going to that skate park, it would have been natural to avoid the mall, of course. The trouble with Zumiez is that they're supposed to have someone who skates but often, that person doesn't know as much as the customer does. It went okay, and my buddy did the work with their tools. The price is as you might expect in a mall--full retail price. The service was friendly. read more

So I came in with a special Skateboard that my boyfriend and I specially made for our mutual close friend who the crew at a different Zumiez did a terrible job on the grip tape like no force was needed and you can pull the grip tape off the board. I came into this Zumiez was greeted and I approached a team member and a manager and told them what happened and they helped me in fixing the grip tape just in time for Christmas. So I wanna thank this team so much from the bottom of my heart the team helped my boyfriend and I make my friend feel special and loved he loved the board so much boarder line cried . So you walk in and there are BOGO 50% off signs everywhere, they even say mix and match. Great... BOGO shoes and shoes? No! BOGO shoes and a pair of pants? No! BOGO shoes and a belt... NO!! Wait, what? If you wanna BOGO shoes, you have to pick your 50% off shoe from the clearance stack in the back... AKA the reject stack that no one wanted to begin with (that's why they are on clearance) AND NO ONE WANTS THEM NOW!! I hated this store, but my son wanted to shop here. I usually shop here online and online you can BOGO 50% on almost any shoe you want... not some bootleg clearance reject shoe with marijuana leaves, or whack tie dyed Nikes. BOGO=By One Get One I will however say this... because of their lack of 50% off clearance option, a girl on the floor said we can pick anything else for 50% off. Get to the register to pay and nope... not the case. You cant mix and match "like that". But... the manager, after grilling me on what girl told me that, ended up giving us our jeans for 50% off after buying a pair of Vans. I also don't think that the workers here were "bitch ass workers" like a review below me said. I think for the most part they were ok. read more

Nick the manager at this Zumiez has a very welcoming personality as well as excellent customer service skills. I called today and put a pair of shoes on hold and he was extremely polite on the phone. They had us at the register for at least 35 mins completing an online order because they didn't have the shoes I wanted in stock. Service here tends to be pretty bad. They always have things out of stock or something. Its like they don't even have inventory or the staff is just too lazy to look for it. Whenever I want something usually its something in a smaller size they say "what we have out there is all we have" They say that all the time!!! Do they not have a stock room?? Service SUCKS! Despite that, I love shopping here and it is the only constant store I shop at. I use to love puma but winter came around and I did not like the fact that I was spending so much money on almost no apparent reason at all except for the brand name. So Zumiez replace Puma and Zumiez has a pretty cool/nifty selection of snow wear. Me and my gf bought all of our snow apparel here an hour before we were suppose to leave to Boreal. hehe Cutting it close. I got my snow pants, gloves, gf-got her snow jacket, snow pants gloves. Total cost was 500$ I figured it would be that much, if I went to REI or Any Mountain it would be more. I love how they have a whole bunch of snowboarding gear and accessories and they carry snowboarding companies that aren't common either such s M4 or Alibi. I also got a 3 for 10 snowboarding accessory sale here. Sweet! Got one ball jay spray wax, alibi stomp pad for bro and an alibi torque driver for screwing in the bindings to the board. And yea occasionally I'll come here to buy sweaters, shirts, jackets and anything but jeans. I like my jeans to be 7's, Joes, Lucky, Gap or Banana R. Gosh Dang I love snowboarding. Be prepared to find your own stuff! and carefully look for price markdowns. read more

holidays are a rough time to shop and mall employees don't always make it easier with their pushy "overly friendly" sales techniques. I had this attractive chick help me find a couple things and made it pretty easy to find something and get out. I was than greeted by the tall dude June at the register, the guy really made me feel welcome and had a genuine personality( one that you never find at a mall, especially not Eastridge! i shop here almosr regularly and i think it has a good selection of clothing and a somewhat good selection of skateparts and boards yet, the service is a lesser of an experience. i was browsing a selection of trucks near the back of the store, when a kid behins me began riding on one of the skateboards, and like any ordinary skateshop, i ignored it. however, the worker there running the desk wasnt very fond of this, and paused the music and raised his voice to tell him to leave. i felt incredibly uncomfortable due to the sudden mood change of the store, when its usually cool and often gives off a "hey we dont care because we believe in trust in our customers". after telling the kid to leave, he immediately started to talk down about him and how he apparently "flaunts his zumiez stash account" and "charges his phone too often", and im sure that hes the newest manager, because the previous manager, London, was more laid back of a manager, and wouldnt mind when kids rode boards in the back, as long as they didnt break them. my experience overall was ruined because of this, and i personally believe that he overreacted on the kid, and it was completely unnecessary to talk bad about him to the customers in there at the time read more

The staff is always changing but one person who had always been there to greet and help me out is Teresa. She's really friendly and is always willing to help. So recently, about 2 Weeks ago, I was shopping for my girlfriend and Teresa was there, I was grated loudly and very friendly, almost like she was happy to see me, made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. I was browsing through their obey selection, I really don't keep up with it so Teresa let me know what were the more new styles and the more popular ones, I grabbed 2 shirts, she then asked what else did I wanna get her, I really wasn't interested in much, but then this diamond shirt stood out to me, , unfortunately they didn't have her size :( but Teresa then offered about ordering online and offered to ship free! Boy, that's what I call customer service, nobody wants to pay an extra 20$ for shipping, anyways we picked out 2 very nice diamond shirts, my total experience was just perfect, she wasn't too pushy at all, I can tell it wasn't about the sale. I felt she actually cared about me, she treated me like a true friend. Back to the story, my girlfriend was super happy and that's all that matters, thank you so much Teresa for all your help!!!
