They found that the oil drain plug had not been properly installed, and they had to re-do the oil change and charged us for it. Express oil change would NOT give us a refund even though we had to pay for the oil change twice because of their incompetence. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. They told me that it was a bit low on coolant, but they topped it off. He got the oil changed and drove out. 2 days later, the engine blew (threw a rod), apparently due to overheating (or maybe due to not correctly installing the oil drain plug... we will never know). After my mechanic told me that the car's engine died due to not having oil (again, it could have been this, but there is a very good chance it was simply overheating), I contacted the store and spoke with the manager. His name is Chabrol Johnson (he goes by CJ). He made me feel bad for taking the car to my mechanic and not taking it to him first (I told him I wasn't sure what the issue was, so I didn't want to assume it was their fault). He pressured me into letting them tow the car there for them to examine it. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I questioned him about being able to drive a car 87 miles on an engine with a thrown rod, he told me that you could drive a car with a thrown rod (sorry, this just isn't true... it would be undeniable that something was wrong and you would not be driving it all over town). After multiple exchanges with him, I decided that I needed to talk to someone who was more professional so we could get to the bottom of things. I ended up talking to the regional manager (Her name was Jill) and she was SO nice and helpful. We examined footage to prove that they did put oil in the car and had to add almost a gallon of coolant (which was very different than them telling me it was a "bit low" but they topped it off). Again, I find it suspicious that the car drove in fine and blew up 2 days later, BUT it very well could have been the coolant issue... That being said, my review is not because of THAT part... it is how the manager at this location (CJ) treated me. Disrespectful, rude, sarcastic and condescending and very unprofessional. I suggest going to another location where you will be treated better (should you find yourself in a situation where you need to speak with a manager). I will never be returning here. :-)
