I had ordered the tires over the phone and made an appointment and within 30 minutes of dropping off, I walked across the street to Publix to have lunch, the wheels that arrived via FedEx to this location were installed, and it looks great. I opted not to purchase the additional $50s/tire certificate, an optional insurance package in case something were to happen to any of the tires. They don't like to call it insurance, but that's what it is. I can purchase that package later so long as a certain amount of tread is left on the tires. Money is tight, but Discount Tire helped me save a little. Folks were kind, and helped me along my way.

I went to the dealership yesterday because my tire pressure was low on my left rear tire. After an hour, they came back and said I had a slow leak due to a nail and they could only REPLACE it for $507. I said no thanks and walked right out. (My car is 60 days old w/ brand new tires soooo no). Fast forward to this morning at 9:30 am. I drive up to Smyrna Tire, park, jump out and tell them what I was told. They said they'd check pressure on all and see if they can patch the hole. Great! Welp. They actually found 1 nail in my left rear and 2 nails in my right rear tire. (Either I have enemies or I need to watch how I drive cause sheesh). On top of being thankful, I'm impressed and grateful. Had I bought the replacement tire, I would've had to turn around and buy another one days later PLUS I'm hella disappointed that after sitting on their lift for an hour and doing the extra ridiculous soapy test, BMW couldn't see that I had multiple nails across both tires. Anywho. In case you're still thinking of going somewhere else for any of your tire issues. Don't. I've found my forever shop and I'm positive I won't need to go anywhere else. Side note: I've been here for about 40 minutes and my car is almost done. Yay! There's also a very steady flow of customers and they are getting them in and out as much as they can.

I have been a repeat customer of this Mavis location for years and trusted them with our family's…read moreHonda CR-V. This began with a routine oil change and tire rotation. Immediately afterward, the vehicle sounded noticeably rougher. I returned the next day, and an employee rode with me to hear the noise. I was told the older tires being rotated to the front could be contributing, so I had them moved back. The noise only decreased slightly; the aggressive roaring sound during acceleration remained. Shortly after leaving, the low tire-pressure warning also appeared, requiring another return to Mavis. The following week, based on Mavis's recommendation that a bearing issue could be responsible, I authorized a bearing service costing approximately $699 before tax. I also purchased additional Michelin tires at approximately $242 per tire, for 4 new tires total. After that service, the vehicle was returned with a completely new and severe scraping/grinding sound underneath, at times sounding as though the bottom of the vehicle were scraping against concrete. The sound was concerning enough that I stopped driving it. The valve-stem caps were also missing from the newly installed Michelin tires. To be clear, the original roaring noise was never resolved by simply repositioning the tires, and this severe scraping/grinding noise was not present before the bearing service and latest tire installation. At this point my concern is not simply that something went wrong, but that the vehicle was released in that condition after extensive service to the tune of $2083.16 Returned vehicle and was informed the lower skid plate wasnt tightened.

My Lexus finally has its smooth ride back again. I was pretty shocked at the difference afterward. I guess I had gotten accustomed to some of the bumpiness! Butler did a great job AND I noticed that they shined my tires and left the interior of my car the way they found it (I've had mechanics leave grease on my seats before lol).
