Well these boards make mine look like preschool drawings. I ordered the Date Night board, which says it feeds two or snacks four. It was just two of us so picked up a couple bottles of wine to accompany it, and attempted to take credit for doing the whole thing myself. After obviously being called out, I couldn't wait to dig in! The board contained four different kinds of (all awesome) cheeses, four different kinds of wildly different meats, cheese-stuffed olives, dried and fresh fruit, chocolates, nuts, honeys, and jams. It was such a great mix of unique ingredients that I haven't tried - while still hitting those familiar notes that I like. After initially worrying we'd devour it and not have enough, I was pleased when we couldn't even quite finish the board! The only thing that I wish were included that wasn't would be a little ramekin of mustard. Prices were fair, pickup was smooth, and quality was through-the roof. With other boards like dessert, charcuterie cones, and endless possibilities, I will definitely be ordering from here again!

I had a flashback to my childhood, walking home from elementary school and stopping at the small store on the corner to buy penny candies and other goodies like banana flavored Now & Laters or candy cigarettes. I had to go into that store. Luke R. and Rachel F. were walking by. I pointed out the penny candy sign, and the four of us went in to explore. We found video boxes on display, shelves of candy galore and a fridge with sodas, not a commercial fridge but one like we'd have in our homes. I felt like I went back in time. I think we all did because we giggled and bounced around the store like we were kids! Did I buy any candy? You're damn right I did, and I'd go back and do it again!

They had those styrofoam-y UFO things that seemed questionable, sixlets, candy cigarettes, bubble-gum cigars, all the lemonheads/boston baked beans/etc. you could think of and so much more... Also: DVDs, if you're into that sort of thing. Also: pinball, if you're into that sort of thing. Also: a doll collection behind the counter, if you're into that sort of thing. I can't believe I found butterkase there. I haven't had butterkase cheese since I was in Germany. The second time I went, I went because my friends told me I must get the chocolate cheese. I went back to get that plus a few more other cheeses. I also went next door to Usingers to get more meats! It's slightly cheaper there for Usinger brand stuff. Anyway, very cute store with lots of options.
