Read below for my recent experience - you can see from my public profile that I do review frequently but this deserved it: Last Saturday I went to get a cracked screen on my phone fixed - the phone was working 100% fine other than the cracked screen - and the repairman quoted that it would be done before 5pm. I went back at 4:45pm, and was told that it could not be done until Monday. I was given a loaner phone (that was helpful) in the mean time. On Monday, I came back, and the replacement screen no longer had a crack. HOWEVER, there were many problems, including: - Large spots on the screen are no longer functional, and it is difficult to do almost any task. - I cannot swipe between home screens without 10+ tries - Google maps is VERY difficult to use since it keeps thinking that I'm zooming in and out - Texting is now silly as pushing letters push at least two letters half the time I went back to the story tonight (Tuesday), and was told that there was nothing I could do until Thursday, was not given a loaner phone in the mean time, and was told that I could not get a refund, despite my phone being in much worse condition after the repair. I will go back on Thursday to dispute the no refund, and hope that the originally agreed upon service can be completed - though in 5 days vs. the originally agreed upon 2 hours. read more

This place has provided me with great service three times. The first, a standard iPad screen. Second, an iPhone 5 screen which I tried to replace myself (bad idea unless you've done several test runs or are somewhat qualified). Lastly, my niece's iPhone 6 screen today quickly repaired in 15 minutes. What I appreciate about Aaron was the fact he informed me today's model had a 6 not a 6S. A cost savings of $50! read more

At first I gave them 5 stars because they were friendly and fast. My phone screen broke shortly after they fixed it. My friend actually fixed it the second time and showed me that they left out a lot of screws, stripped some of the ones they actually put back, AND LEFT SOME PIECES OUT! Brought my iPhone in for screen repair. First they told me it would be ready in 30 minutes, but it took 60. Not a big deal, but I would have preferred an honest estimate. Then the new screen started to come off the phone. I had to bring it back several times and it always kept coming off. Guy who worked there blamed it on my case. After giving them 4 chances to fix it I asked for a refund and they gave me a big runaround. They did have the Chutzpah to ask me to write a Yelp review after the third time I brought it back. So without looking at the phone and without being an iPhone technician... I failed to realize a few things. My replacement screen is not a factory part and it's not the same quality for resolution for my iPhone 5s at all. It's also some cheaper version of plexiglass-like material which is more fragile. And there's a small and barely visible cut on the right side that's rather perfect in measurement like someone had to precisely cut into it.... Well today this initially unnoticed cut has created a series of cracks at the bottom of my phone from simply setting it down on a wood table... And the LCD has some sort of broken thermal issue on one side creating a yellow red hue on one side of the phone... And wala... In less than 30 days... My screen is broken yet again... What a waste of my hard earned money. I wanted so badly to like this place. read more

I got my phone screen fixed and the the touch stopped working and when i confronted them about it they told it's part of the risk and repairing the screen. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!? Very nice guys here at Zyvatech with a good collection of phone and related accessories. I came in to borrow a charge for my phone after the battery drained from a long run. I needed to fire up uber for a ride home after eating a big fatty meal at Hollywood grill and it was too cool, too full, and too lazy to run anymore. Anyways, the guy was super friendly and charged my phone without hesitation while I checked the store. Especially dug the Christmas bows at the wall, what a cute touch. I will not go back to Zyvatech for any electronics or phone repair. He fixed my iPhone screen with a used screen. I did not want a used screen. I guess he did this because I used a Groupon. I didn't think cell phone repair shops reused the screens to old phones. I will not trust him with any electronic repair. Stay away. do not go here. as a rn, and extremely honest person, these people are unbelievable. the age old phrase is, you will get what you pay for. i got my phone fixed about 8 days ago. while they quickly fixed my iphone 8 for $88....my screen ended up with a tiny hairline crack in it about a week later. i took it back in and they refused to fix it for free. they first told me $40, and then when i told them id never be back & id write a bad review they took my phone back behind the wall, came back and offered me a $30 repair. i did not drop it or put too much pressure on it which is what the insinuated and were very defensive from the moment i walked in the store. like it was common for them to argue with customers. typical scam artists. offering expensive work at a cheaper price because they are using cheap or refurbished products to repair. now after reading other reviews im scared the screen on my phone is not going to work or my home button isnt going to work because not only did the men working there tell me that was a common issue that they encounter after they fix a phone (that they claimed to fix for free) i have read several reviews of other people who have had that issue and they did not repair for free. also, like other, I have a dimmer screen that I noticed immediately but did not complain about, and I noticed that my battery dies more quickly. ill keep the crack in my phone before i give them another dollar and i will just pay someone to do it right from now on also. once again, go elsewhereto get your phone fixed. also, i agree with other posts made on google, that most of these review have to be fake. and if you look at the owners response to this post on google. his response says it all about their business. read more

I dropped my iPhone 5S and the screen shattered. My insurance company wanted $199 for a replacement phone or $99 to fix it. I was overjoyed when I called Zyvatech and they told me they could replace it for $70! Not only that, but they said it would only take 20 minutes. Mo, I think was his name, was very friendly and informative. I took in my Galaxy S4 the mic was broken. I had previously went to another place to get the LCD screen replaced because it was broken and they broke the mic. People couldn't hear me when I talked unless I used my earpiece. He offered to clean it and it still didn't work he knew exactly how they broke the mic and fixed it for a good price.
