both the kimchis, radish and cabbage, tasted like it had gone bad, making me wonder how the food is stored and how fresh it is. the soft tofu soup comes boiling hot, so i would recommend putting the tofu on a separate plate to cool for a little bit because it will burn you if you're not careful. i got extra spice in mine, but next time i would ask for it on the side and add in the spice to my liking. the tofu was very soft and flavorful and the meat was cooked well. the rice was also cooked perfectly, pairing with the soup. the cold noodles have to be cut so that they are easier to eat. the noodles are very thin, which could be good if you're wanting a meal that's not heavy. the fried dumplings are very good with amazingly crisp edges. the sauce perfectly balances out the flavors. our food came out in less than five minutes after ordering. however, i would say they rely a lot on the call button since that is the only time they will check up on you. the interior is very small, which would not be good for a big group of people looking to eat here.

My first time trying korean food and I was impressed! The spicy seafood noodle soup was yummy, very large portion, I recommend splitting. It had a seafood flavor but it was not fishy. The pancakes were interesting and good, I would compare it to tempura fried vegetables but a little heavier. The Tteokbokki surprised me the most, very chewy texture but I loved it. Would def get it again! Service was friendly and fast. Fast casual type restaurant with reasonably pricing considering the amount of food that comes with each serving!

Great design and great Korean food. One of the few places that serves kimchi jigae. The surface was fast and friendly. The ambience was very cool and scenic. Their Korean pancakes are popular.

I love trying new Korean places so I decided to stop in on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't too busy they have plenty of tables open and they were very fast with the service. The place is a very casual à la carte Korean place not kbbq with the grill. We ordered and maybe 5-10 min later we had the food out and everything looked and tasted very fresh! I didn't get to try any of the pancakes they specialize in but I hope to come back and try them!

We had a craving for their seafood pancake, to my disappointment, it was really thin and not much seafood, but tons of green onions! We also had the fried mozzarella sticks, gyoza and a beef with tofu!My favorite was the beef & soft tofu stew, the tofu was very silky and had a lot of flavor, enough for two people! The mozzarella sticks were very cheesy and hot! There's a bell for you to ring if you need service, which is very convenient. The ban chans were good too! They had 7 different types and it's unlimited!

Still great! We love having a place we can come to on a busy weekend. Luckily they accept reservations so I'm glad we were able to get one. I loved chatting with my friend and catching up in the separate room. The service is a push to call button. The women's bathroom seems to be updated from the last time or I can't remember, but it was very clean and a little fancy. New looking countertop and had a little freshening up area with some complimentary pads and mouthwash. There's also a baby changing station if needed. Food is great as I'm still glad I found a place as consistent as this. My favorite dish would have to be the marinated grilled pork. Fried dumplings were great as well. We will always order the deep fried braised chicken. We got the Kimchi stew as usual but barely touched it this time just cause we were so full from the other items. We got the fluffiest steamed egg ever. I love that I can bring people here without disappointment. Keep up the good work!

Zzizim is a solid choice with good prices and generous portions. The seafood pancake stands out; it has a great thin texture and excellent flavor. I'll definitely return to try the other items.

Great korean food as always. They updated their menu and have more options. Service is always great too.

Had another meal here and really do enjoy their pancakes! Feel their other dishes are a bit...muted and overpriced but still a solid place to have Korean food! Service is always great and quick. Especially love the green onion salad.

Highly rated Korean food in Carrollton - so we had to go try it! Was a bit disappointed. Ordered the Small Assorted Pancakes and Short Ribs. The short ribs were okay. Meat was very soft and didn't have that nice chard taste to it. The variety pancakes were lacking. We only enjoyed the pork belly, fish, and crabmeat. Everything else was a miss.

The spicy beef soup and pancakes were awesome! I normally don't eat pancakes but this was amazing! The sauce was perfect!

    Almost cleaned house!

Wow! Reminds us of Korean food in LA. Probably the best we've had in Carrollton/DFW for sure! Seafood pancake was huge and delish! I had seafood soondubu and my wife had jjampang spicy seafood noodles. So good! Everything had great flavor! New fave spot!

We ordered the Assorted Pancakes (small) and the Marinated/Grilled Pork. There were three of us that shared the meal & the food gave us a good variety and they had good portions! They also had buttons to call the server and each booth provided good privacy for each group. They also had 3 different rooms for large groups.

It was pretty tight to eat, about 20% of the table is taken up by the accessory caddy, anything a person might need. I think it would be more efficient to have some of that where the server brings it, have more room for everything on the table. My two cents. I ordered the Americano and couldn't tell if it was an Americano or if it was drip coffee. The fig omelette was a pleasant surprise. I really enjoyed it, and I would certainly want to have another one. The figs throughout as well as a smear of the fig jam on top was quite good. It would've been nice with the toast I offered to have a side of the same jelly as opposed to dealing with the conventional shelf stable smuckers or welches, whatever it was, for grapes, strawberry My my daughter ordered the orange juice. It was very fresh and very nice tasting. I couldn't tell if they actually squeezed it in the back or they had a machine. Either way, it's well executed She's a simple girl, and she just wanted a simple waffle. The batter tasted quite good; however, what I envisioned for a waffle is that it's got a crispness or a crunch to it. It was more like A pancake. It could've been the fact that it wasn't turned up high enough, or maybe they didn't use the correct type of release spray that gives that frying effect. Not sure, but it's an easy tweak The service was quite good. They were friendly, very efficient, and good at anticipation. I like the feel of it, even though it was completely full. They were very efficient on getting people seated and tables turned. I think they did a great job there, and it felt very cozy as well, other than the fact that I felt like I was eating with a plate on my knees because the table's just frankly too small if they're gonna add that huge caddy to it Certainly would try again

My table had everything a customer could request, such as hot sauce and ketchup. The tables at the benches had sufficient space, but on my two-top, the items took about a third of the surface area. As soon as I was seated, my waiter came by to get my drink order. It was a drastic change since my last visit. When he returned with the coffee, I needed some more time as I barely had a chance to view the menu. He passed by a few more times and refilled my mug without being asked. I ordered The Connection and chose the crepes. Although slightly more costly, I should have chosen the crepes and a side of the sausages. I would have gotten more of what I enjoyed, such as another crepe, and none of the bacon, which I disliked. Its crispy level was set to extreme. I enjoyed the sausages, but did confirm they were pork due to their coloring.
