They were nice when we initially had work done but within a year the water pump and pretty much all other parts we had replaced have all failed within 1-3 months of eachother. Can't call in and get a hold of anyone and haven't heard back via emails we took the car into VW and that not only have the parts failed found there's brackets and hardware missing that would have been replaced during the initial repair. Really sloppy work. Super disappointing. read more

Anthony is that guy!! Coming to the shop in Fremont he greeted me with kindness right away even after I told him I had some competitor parts installed for the Audi b9 platform. If I hadn't known 034 Motorsports was in the Bay Area, all my upgraded parts would be coming from them! I came to them initially to see how much they would quote me for a full exhaust system install and some cooling system parts. Anthony answered any questions I had concerning about the install. I was on a budget when it came to labor so he gave me the confidence and tips on how to install some parts on my own! I ended up having them just install the exhaust system which had complicated wiring involved (valves) and him and his tech did such a THOROUGH JOB. They even inspected my car and found that in my motor I had failing motor mounts. WHAT A RELIEF. Anthony and his team definitely care about their work and the customers satisfaction. 10/10 service!!! Went in for an oil change and to check fault codes that came up in the past few months. Found out that a major tune-up was needed including timing. Even though I paid a hefty bill, I was assured that everything was being taken care of with quality OEM parts and services. Every question I had was answered with a complete understanding. I also asked for pictures which they had no problem providing them to me thru their 034 link which was given with estimated cost. The mechanic took great care as if it was his own, the engine looked brand new, top to bottom because I'm that type of customer. If I'm paying a certain amount, it better look and drive like new. 034 Motorsport installed a coilover suspension system (ST model X) on my 2017 Audi A3 Premium Sedan. I received a list of referrals from a good friend and 034 was one of the (approximately 10) referred shops. After receiving quotes and lists of to-be-performed steps from each of the shops (as well as some not on my friend's list), I chose 034. I did not choose 034 for the quoted price of the job, but for the number of services that they provide with the installation of the coilover system (they include wheel alignment - both at the time of the install AND a follow-up alignment after the suspension had settled, as well as headlight adjustment and ride height to my spec). Also key in my decision was the amount of time quoted for the work. While some shops quoted a week for the job, 034 quoted "next day." I dropped my car off at 8am and picked it up that same evening at 6pm - actually, I didn't get there until nearly 6:30 and they were extremely accommodating. I cannot say enough about how professional, friendly and helpful these guys were - and continue to be... I am 100% satisfied with the work they have done and would absolutely recommend 034 Motorsport. read more

The other day was my second time going to 034 motorsports to receive some basic maintenance. I've been going to their San Jose location, which is honestly amazing. I don't know the gentleman's name but the parts advisor at their San Jose location is absolutely amazing. I went in for a simple oil change for my 2017 GTI and was wondering about the dog bone mount inserts that they offer. He was very clear and cohesive when explaining them and gave me a pretty decent price on installation and parts. After my visit yesterday, the car feels very different with the new dog bone mounts inserted. I also have 034s stage two tune and transmission tune on the GTI, which is absolutely changed it. He even gave me an extensive breakdown of future maintenance I might need and I was given a very good list . Update, after a bit of back and forth 034 refunded me part of my payment, re-checked all the work they did in SJ at the Fremont location and offered to fix everything that was messed up. They did genuinely seem to care about making things right. I am still peeved at how crappy of service the SJ location gave me. Ordered front sway bar end links for my B8 S5 on April 5th. I specifically ordered the more expensive set because the cheaper set was back ordered until the end of May. The more expensive set had no wait time information. Here it is May 2nd and still my order shows "in fulfillment". Tomorrow is a full month since you took my money. I sent an email to customer support, and was told my order should be completed and shipped April 29th. I was very happy with the density line upper and lower control arm kit I purchased from you earlier this year, but this is ridiculous. According to their return policy I should have my refund in 5 business days. They received the return on June 30, it's now July 17 and still nothing! Apparently this company will disable your tuning account? So I've now moved across the states and don't have access to the correct octane for the installed tune, but when I go to login to the portal to access the tuning software I haven't used in a while, it says it's been disabled. That's great that I can't use my car until I wait up to THREE DAYS for a response from them, which may not even rectify the issue in a timely matter. Kind of wild to alienate paying customers and have the fate of your vehicle and potential to need to use it to go to work just stuffed because I need to wait for someone at 034 to finally check their e-mail. read more

I have had various Volvos and Audis tuned over the years with software from IPD, APR and Unitronic. 034 is by far the most dramatic and effective. I have an Audi S5 with Stage 2 and Transmission tune and right away noticed the much quicker turbo spooling, fantastic smooth quick shift points and no CEL. My first experience with 034 has been exceptional. The customer service here is top shelf. Very responsive, knowledgeable and committed to accommodate your goal to the best setup. I mainly worked with Jamil to get my 8v S3 upgraded to Stage 2 and the process was very seamless. I was ready to get this project going immediately but what held back the service to be done due to a part out-of-stock for a couple weeks turned into a blessing in disguise. Through the weeks, we started communicating all the pros/cons of specific parts and setups and because of that I'm very excited for what lies ahead. The installment timeline was very accurate and I received my car back the following day. All of my stock parts were padded and boxed securely and, of course, my S3 revealed a night and day difference with 034's in-house products. I ordered rear end links for my 2014 b8.5 Audi s5 on august 19, 2023. I have the order number and everything. I have receipts for everything. I did deal with their customer service and mark redfield was the direct person that contacted me every time I sent out an email. They were responsive and respectful whenever I reached out. I sent out about 4-5 emails over the past 6 months. Well I didn't get my order until I said in my last email " I want my money back" on January 2, 2024. I had my rear end links about a few days later. The reason I'm writing this review is because of how long it took me to get my product and it wasn't delivered to me until I said I want my money back. Granted they did inform me that there was a problem with the manufacturer but that wasn't until I reached out to them almost 2 months later after I made my order!! Then when I said I want my money back on January 2nd the manufacturer miraculously got it together. I think it was kind of shady but it could have been a coincidence. Moral of the story is if I would have never reached out I wouldn't have heard anything from 034 until I got my order and that's just unprofessional. To give this more context I actually ordered the rear end links as a test order to see how long it would come because I actually had $4000 worth parts ready to be paid for but I was hesitant because I wanted to see how long their order process took. They F***ed me over! Please take Notice of this! This is about 034's unscrupulous and unAmerican business practices. And before you go oh he has a weird car well I do BUT they made their name on building cars exactly like mine. They has a freaking race car based on a car like mine. In April Of 2016: I purchased what was well north of $15000, closer to 20k, dollars work of parts from 034 Motorsports for my Audi URS6 Avante . Including everything for full motor build, turbo kit, exhaust and intake manifolds, everything for the suspension and everything for the drive line. Basically heres why they get a F***ing 1 star: My car still isn't running and its October 2019! They lied to me as to how easy this motor build was going to be. They told me a 2.7 stroker was totally easy and just some minor block modifications compared to the 2.5 stroker. Sense then I've spent close to $10000 dollars on machining, welding, knife edging, filling, etc. Not to mention the multiple times that my motor had to be broken apart and then reassembled because of but limited too: Them wrong length rods then trying to make me pay to replace with them with the correct length. The wrong cams. The wrong Valves. The person at 034 who sold it to me later told me that only a few cars in the world have ever done this. Little did I know it was a super Frankenstein motor. I had to CUSTOM engineer a entire tentioning system for the cam belt to make this work. The sheer Degree of CUSTOM (In case you didn't already know CUSTOM stands for time and in google terms ($$$$$)) is astounding. NEVER ONCE DID THE OWNER HAVE THE HUMAN DECENCY TO CALL AND APOLOGIZE FOR THE PROBLEMS HE CAUSED IN MY LIFE. NOR DID THEY OFFER TO GIVE ME A REFUND. I have HAD to call the Netherlands multiple times. Seriously, I had to call the Freakin Dutch! Do you realize there is like a hour in the day when Cat cams is open and Im awake? Holy Hell! I have probably made close to 300 calls with their "service department". More like a liability aviodence department. THEY ONLY HAVE ONE overworked man in that "Department". I feel for this man cause he has to deal with their fallout. I have made hundred more to pretty much every one they compete with, land speed record holders, aviation shops, and even exotic metals engineers and machinists. They never even offered to give me my money back so Im stuck with this s***. Yeah its going to be bitchen when its done but I might be dead before then or worse yet gasoline could become illegal before I see my car running again. Never shop at 034 Motorsports. BEWARE! I almost got scammed and everyone should be aware.. I took my Audi there to get carbon cleaned. They took a couple of days and I followed up throughout to see the progress. They took off all parts and started the carbon clean. I got updates and pictures. On the last day, they claimed one of the main bolt locations for the intake manifold was cracked and that some previous mechanic had did it and not them...how come they didn't "notice" it when initially taking the manifold off? They sent pics and the bolt location was completely broken off.. it didn't make sense. I let it slide and they "patched" it with some liquid weld or something. (cheap fix some small-time shop would do) THIS IS WHERE IT GETS BAD.. one morning on a cold start I notice a whining noise from my engine. I call up 034 and talk to Jamil and I let him know it kind of sounded like the secondary air pump.. I went in and they did an inspection. While they did the inspection, Jamil and the tech even called me to the shop area while they tested the SAI. I told them it wasn't the noise I was hearing.. keep in mind they are doing an inspection that costs money to get done.. after they checked for a while, they couldn't reproduce the noise I described because the car was already warm and it only made noise when cold.. Jamil tries to get me to pay for the inspection when they didn't even find the problem.. then he fills out a shop form and quotes me for a new secondary air pump ($1,200 parts and labor) and tries to get me to sign it... I even asked him if the pump was bad and he confidently said YES..sketchy..I called off any more checks and took my car home. I went on YouTube and looked up some common whining noises and came across a video that said to check the steering fluid.. I CHECK THE FLUID AND ITS COMPLETELY DRY/Empty... I go to Auto Zone and put some steering fluid ( less than $50) and NO MORE NOISE. Jamil essentially tried to scam me into "replacing" the SAI... I've seen him at Pacific Tire Co in Milpitas before driving a customer's Porsche ( maybe 034 takes tire related issues there ). When he left the shop, I seen him absolutely rip the car down the street. I wouldn't trust this guy with my car ever! 034 has decent engineering staff (parts) but the service is your typical "milk you dry" / crooked mechanics. However, they say if you wright urgent in the email request they will get you faster as well as you can request to have a phone call scheduled, but when asked I got no response and just got another email. when also asked to talk to a supervisor I just got a different customer service employee who also didn't respond for 10 days. I would also like to give a special thanks to Mark Redfield for giving me one response to the email request and then never responding again. I would also like to mention Alex Riedel for when asked to schedule a phone call just ignored it and continued on email and then proceeded to not respond to me for 10 days after saying my product would be shipped the next day and I should see the refund soon. I was very happy with my experience here. They installed a Neuspeed Air Intake on my MK6 GTI and the experience was very smooth and quick. I also called in a few days before and asked if I could get the Revo Stage 1 during the same appointment and they were happy to accommodate on the short notice. I hung out in the waiting area working on my laptop very comfortably, and was in and out of the shop within an hour. The install was very clean for the intake, and the tune went well too. It feels like a different car now! So much more power! I worked with Christian for this service, and he was great. He walked me through the details of the service very well. He also answered my questions about future modifications that I want to make to my car and he gave me some great options. He also made some informed recommendations that I didn't think about like the Revo DSG software and an intercooler. All that without pushing a sale. Knowing I had the day off today, I called to schedule a baseline dyno pull test session less than a week in advance. When I called the office and spoke to Christian, he was knowledgeable and answered my questions about their setup. I have a few friends who had good experiences with 034 and they were surprised I was able to get a dyno appointment that soon. From my understanding, they're usually booked up a couple weeks ahead. My appointment was scheduled for 10AM and I arrived to 034 a few minutes late, but it was okay since Christian was on the phone giving a consultation anyway. When I arrived inside, someone did greet me and assured me Christian will help me as soon as he's available. No more than 5 mins later, I was helped and my car was pulled in to their dyno garage. I'm used to the typical single roller dyno, but 034 has a dual roller probably because most of the cars they work on are Audi and Quattro(4 wheel drive) equipped. No worries because I simply had to disengage the DSC and DTC with the press of a button. I was impressed to see their fan setup. Shops typically use those small blue blower snails that are meant for carpets. I've seen those kinds of blowers for drying my dogs at the groomers. 034 had 3 industrial type fans. See my pics. Two large blue moveable fans and one metal stationary fan mounted in the wall was as close as it got to simulate normal driving conditions. Four pulls later, the session was completed. Christian asked if I wanted either a paper print out of my invoice and dyno session or have it emailed. I chose to have it emailed as a pdf to save paper. Nice alternative! All in all, if I had a VW or Audi, I'd definitely bring it to 034 Motorsport because of everything they represent. The lobby has numerous framed magazine articles about the company and their accomplishments. I'll be back in a couple of months to get my post tune dyno pulls done. read more

I purchased an 034 Motorsports swaybar through my local dealer. The swaybar was installed on my vehicle for about 4 months when it began to make clunking noises. The bushings that came with the swaybar just disintegrated. My dealer sent photos of the bushing. I don't even drive my car on the track. My dealer contacted 034 and explained the situation. This is my daily driver and it is very disconcerting to drive it while it exhibits these noises. It took 034 Motorsports 7 days to ship replacements and 4 more days have passed without the shipment showing up. They are absolutely apathetic and unprofessional. This is terrible customer service and unacceptable. I will never buy another product that this company makes. Highly unrecommended. The only reason that I gave them 1 star is that there wasn't an option to give them 0 stars! read more
