Who's trying to get lucky? 1-800-Lucky ended up being my last meal in Miami and I did indeed get lucky. This Asian food hall was truly incredible and I can't sing its praises enough. It's a trendy/hipster food hall with both an indoor area (where most of the vendors are) and an outdoor patio. It's somewhere you can get an amazing meal and also knock back some drinks. I visited for dinner on a Saturday. You have an assortment of options: Chinese, sushi, Filipino, dumplings, ramen, ice cream, and more. Plus a full-stocked bar. I think the best thing to do is get a couple of things from each place so you get a variety. I went with some char siu pork from one location, shrimp shumai from another, BBQ skewers from another, and a frozen drink that is served in a large rice box like you get from Chinese restaurants. So cool! The food is delicious and it's only the skewers that were a bit dry and didn't deliver at a top level. You really can't go wrong by checking out any of the options here. While we stayed inside, the outdoor patio also has some great vibes. I don't think this place is much of a secret for Miami residents as it was almost full. As an out-of-towner, one of the things that most annoys me about Miami is the automatic 20% gratuity at almost any restaurant or bar. Not even sure how it's legal! For awhile I have known about this place from IG, and so glad I had the opportunity to come here. This is a unique spot with different food options inside to choose from: ramen, dim sum, ice cream, drink bar, and more! Of course I had to try to fit as much food as I could ;) I saw that they have a DJ area outside which I'm told sometimes happens at night time so I'm sure it's a vibe. The ramen broth was very clean and flavorful, while the handmade noodles and soft boiled eggs balanced it out. Ahhh I absolutely love this place! Love it for a quick bite orrrr love it late night for some drinks! This place is a super cute "food hall" in Wynwood with many Asian inspired food options - ramen, sushi, poke, Chinese food, etc They also have a full bar and a gorgeous outdoor patio area. It gets pretty packed at night for drinks and music. Super fun! I went the other day during the day time for lunch and got the poke place. Although it was a bit pricier than I usually pay for Poke, it was actually worth it. The portion was HUGE, like I couldn't even finish my bowl. I used to work in this area, so i was lucky to always be just a street or two away. after a long shift i loved coming here. now for a drink you're looking at $15-$18 per person, but you have different options for food because it kind of gives food hall vibes. everyone has always been super friendly here and at night the outside area turns into a dance floor and a D.J. sets up the night and it's actually super fun. they've got big fans around in case you get hot and there's no cover fee to get in which in wynwood will always be a plus. read more

Great place to hang out with friends and grab a variety of trendy bites and drinks. The location boasts beautiful decor that creates an inviting and uniquely charming atmosphere. There's also a Vinyl shop which had some nice records to choose from. With over 4 different Asian bistros to choose from, the variety is impressive. However, I must admit that the prices were a bit steep considering the portion sizes. The overall flavor of the dishes I tried was decent but didn't exceed expectations. On a positive note, the staff at the locations where I ordered from were friendly and attentive. If you decide to visit, I highly recommend trying the bento box--it was the standout option and a great value for what you get. read more

I love 1-800! Everything from the food, drinks, music, and vibes! This is a great bar in Wynwood for a Saturday night, perfect place for a casual dinner, or an excellent day drinking spot. It is an Asian food market with anything you could desire - from noodles to bao buns, to sushi. They also have ice cream, boba tea, and a full bar. There is tons of seating indoors and out, but on the weekends it can get PACKED and be difficult to find a place to sit. The have a ton of Asian beers and specialty cocktails. They frequently have the local DJ, A-Train, playing there, who is super fun. We absolutely love food halls. We always look for them in cities that we travel to. When we found an all Asian one in Miami, we knew we had to try it. Covid-19: they have an outdoor seating area that was pretty empty when we were there. We tried B-Side, Yip, and Gold Marquess. Everything was fantastic. Our favorite thing was probably the sushi roll and crispy rice squares we got from B-Side. Like many food halls, the down side is that this felt very pricey. It felt more expensive than more food halls. I would absolutely recommend coming here while in Miami! read more

This place is so much fun! If you are a fan of Asian food this is the perfect spot. It's mini Asian market with a diverse group of small restaurants inside. There is a sushi spot, Filipino, Korean, Chinese, and the list goes on! Outside seating and bar is so fun. The ambience is fun for kids or hanging out with friends. What looks like a storage container is actually a cute little ice cream store. We went with a little something from every place inside here. We ordered the Chicken Sandwich it was good but a bit too salty and the Pancit which was good but nothing to write home about. I don't think I would come here again. I absolutely LOVE this place because you walk in and theres a bunch of vinyls for sale, foreign candies and then when u continue walking theres a bunch of different stands to get all types of food. and when you walk outside, you get to enjoy nice music with a live dj. i always recommend this place to anyone who wants to go somewhere that isn't too crazy but perfect for a fun night. they even have a sushi bar!! read more

A visit to 1-800-Lucky is a must every time I'm in Miami. I love Asian food and I try something different from one or two of the food stalls each time. The bar also has really yummy drinks. However what inspired me to write this review was the DJ they had on this particular night. The music was SO GOOD! I believe his name was Louie and he was running the HITS! I good mix of old school and new, R&B, hip-hop, dance, you name it. We truly could have sat there all night enjoying the vibes. We were so sleepy, but couldn't bring ourselves to leave! We eventually had to employ our three song rule where if three songs in a row don't move us then we pack it up. This is really the perfect place--you can grab a bite, drinks, and then dance the night away all at one venue. I've been to Gold Marquess a few times and each time it just gets better. The first time I ordered the Pork Belly Bao and the second time it was the Crispy Wings with sweet and sour sauce on the side and fries. I'm soooo picky about my fries but these were fried to perfection. The pork belly bao was soft, savory, and chewy. Felt like a soft warm fluffy bite of deliciousness just melting in my mouth. My favorite was the crispy chicken wings, hands down. The chicken was crispier than crispy with a beautiful crunchy sound. The pieces were decently sized and I ate them ALL! I almost inhaled them, to be honest. While I was eating one piece I would soak my next piece in the sweet and sour sauce, a great flavor combination. I normally eat wings with ketchup but S&S sauce is a much better option. There are several other places to eat within the food hall which I'm excited to go back and try. Very cute little food hall with a lively outdoor section. I ordered the ramen from one of the stalls the flavor was very robust and it was a good portion of food. The onigiri was a sad mush of what tasted like old cold rice with very minimal filling it also didn't look like the picture. Awesome Asian market hall with great food to choose from for everyone to enjoy! My boyfriend and I came here for date night & it's the perfect place for us to enjoy small bites together. As you walk past the store space you enter the market area where vendors await their guests and each of their menus is readily available either on their countertop or on display. We ordered from three different vendors; I got my chicken bao buns (2) from Gold Marquess which I LOVED so much I can't stop thinking about them. To share we got the burger dumplings from YIP & he tried their refreshing boba, which you can tell was just made fresh. A little disappointed by the dumplings cause they seemed to be advertised like a real burger in them but it was really just beef that tasted like patty meat. Still delicious & they came out nice & hot! My bf tried Jeepney's BBQ tenders which he enjoyed & I had their AMAZING horchata iced coffee (wish they had an extra large size for that one!) Every vendor hands out their own buzzer & some don't have the vendor names on them so try to keep up with who's is from where! One of my favorite places in wynwood! Food/service is always good. Music is always playing so it's a nice vibe and they also have some good ice cream there for dessert . At this time I was more into a fresh dish like tiradito so I went right away to B-side (itamae's restaurant sister). You can't go wrong!!! Every dish I ordered was impeccable, fresh, tasty and well presented. Of course I would recommend the octopus tiradito , one of my favourite dishes and their sashimi salmon bowl. Now, my greedy husband decided to order some crisp chicken Sando , that looked really good but it was completely dry, unfortunately. Maybe if the girl that was preparing the sando stopped to use her phone while cooking - OMG, maybe could be better. (Usagi tokio). One bartender gave my friend a cup of water, but another bartender approached him and told him he cannot give us water. He proceeded to tell us that we have to buy bottled water.... I finally made it to this amazing place, and I'm so happy I did. The vibe is very chill and hip crowd. Lot's of families which I thought was nice to see. Ok when you walk in, there are tables and all the different little restaurants. You sit wherever you want, there is outdoor and inside seating. I wanted to sit inside this first time. The only thing I didn't like was flies but no one can't control that understandable. Place your order and every place you order from you get a pager to let you know when your food is ready. We order from 4 different places. I'm honestly obsessed with two places that I tried so DEFINITELY will be coming back. Now the good part. 1. Usagi Tokyo- Pork Belly Gohan- this was hands down so delicious. (OBSESSED) 2. Yip- Chicken Dumplings & Veggie Rolls, Again the chicken dumplings so so good, Veggie rolls the best I've ever tried, so crunchy on the outside and the inside so fresh and tasty(OBSESSED) Gold Marquess - BBQ spare ribs, they had a great taste but the meat was tough. B-Side - Dragon Roll & Crispy Shrimp Roll, These were my least favorite, the crispy shrimp ok nothing special, the Dragon were definitely a lot better but just ok. When you sit at your table there are servers going around taking your drink orders. I had a Sake Colada (delicious) and my husband had a Classic Mojito really good as well. I have been here once before with friends 5 years ago when it was much busier with music outside and wanted to show the place to my boyfriend. It was a super hot humid Saturday in Wynwood so we were desperate to get inside and have something refreshing to eat. The B-Side restaurant inside the food hall of 1-800-lucky was the first thing to attract me. The hall offers all kinds of food vendors from soup dumplings to asian street food. For us, the SUSHI was the perfect idea on a boiling hot day in Miami. The place was probably 25% capacity on a Saturday afternoon with people enjoying lunch solo as well as bringing friends to try everything. The dining room was not cold enough inside it still felt really hot so it did not give me much relief coming from outside. I assume this is due to the smaller size of this food hall and all the heat coming from each kitchen, but they need more AC! We ordered by kiosk and one of the younger two cooks in the kitchen was really friendly while the other seemed too busy to answer questions. Overall, the motomami sushi roll itself was delicious. I noticed there was no music or dj or bartender outside and it was too hot to be out there enjoying the garden seating area. I remember it was much cooler years ago with inside and outside fans and a dj. The hall seems to have lost its popularity over the years as a social spot but still seems like its busy with families and singles that appreciate the variety of food options provided. read more
