This is the best do it yourself car wash in our area. It's small with only 3 bays and often busy and would have to wait a bit, but the options you get for the price you get you can't really beat. You get 3.5 minutes of wash time per dollar spent. The best part about this car wash is the blow dryer you can use at the end of your wash. The blower is so strong that your arm will get tired after a few minutes of use, but you'll be able to get the annoying water stock at the cracks of your car out with no problems. read more

Ahhh kind of upset but I guess it is what it is. I don't know why but for some reason this business hasn't been claimed so the owner doesn't really care at this point. At least one of the machines doesnt work if not more and its just eating up peoples money for things we need when trying to clean our cars. It's kind of crazy because this car wash has been here forever but maybe it's been sold. Because before at least someone was servicing the machines. When I get lazy to get out the bucket and sponge and towels at my house, this is my spot. I'll spend a few bucks, get my car clean (if its an hour of the day where there is no one around, I wont use their brush cause it kinda sucks, I'll have a sponge with me to wipe down my car. For $5, you can get your car totally clean, blow dry it so it doesnt have streaks instead of using a towel AND no clean up!! lol Kinda cant go wrong for what you get and not needing to clean things. If you want to detail your car though, do it at home or hire someone. This is not the place. read more

My car was looking one shade away from "wash me" graffiti, so I needed a place to wash off the baked in grime so that it would be halfway presentable. This place, true to its name, mostly delivered. Pro: - $1 / minute - one of the cheapest prices I have seen around town. Washed the whole car with $4. - got in a mini workout, always a plus after getting a free bagel from Vons. - they have a "hair dryer" tube to air dry your car afterwards, I believe runs on straight time (not sure, didn't use myself, but everyone else seemed to) Con: - a bit sketch. Kinda surprising how foothill extends from the verdant rolling hills of La Cañada, to pretty good La Crescenta, to billboards for Los abogados, barbed wire, and $1 car wash. And the guy in front of me had a beat up GMC van with pro-Trump, racist bumper stickers. #MAGA - only 3 bays. There was a mini line today (Easter Sunday) - the "spot free" rinse clearly didn't have a water filter pretreatment. The water in this area is incredibly hard. "Spot free" at this place only means you get a million little hard water spots all over your car. Now I know why the locals use the "hair dryer" tube. So if you have a late model car that you need clean but not showroom clean, this is the place. (If you *do* have a BRAND NEW car, however, either get a gallon of Meguiars wash and wax from Costco and do it yourself, or pay the money for professional cleaning / detailing.) This is probably the best car wash I've been to, the prewash works great as well as the wax and smells good too and I can actually see a difference in what the water does with this wax and how quickly it rolls off of my paint. The vacuums and the air dryer have a ton of pressure so be careful to hold onto the hose before you turn on the air dry or else it'll be flying All over the place read more

Bring your quarters. For $1 you can soap your car and use the brush to get all the funk off your vehicle including the tires and rims. For another $1.50 you can soft water rinse your car and blow dry the whole thing with the handheld nozzle. If you are slow, you may spend $3.50, but you won't spend more than 10 minutes making your old jalopy look brand new. They have vacuums and a towel off area as well. There are change machines, but I have never used them. Warning, this place is popular on Fridays and the weekends. Prepare to wait about 30 minutes to get a spot with the equipment. Hands down best place to clean your car for a few bucks. I've gone as late as 11pm and there's always a line so I know everyone else knows this place is the place to go. The best part about this place is their air dryer is super strong making the job so much more quick and easy. I also had an issue with the timer and the attendant was quick to just give me more time. With the only other car wash in the area being "Star Carwash" (which is trash), this is definitely the go to place. (Also a drive thru car wash at a 76 up the ways a bit). Bring your quarters or bring a $5. The change machines have always been working and never had any issue. There are 3 wash "stalls", in my experience always go to the middle or far left. The right one has given me issues and will very rarely take my quarters. Max, you might spend $3.50 if you're slow. Otherwise you'll get close to $2 with a black car like mine. Take your time drying, and then head over to vacuuming. ($1 and gives a long time to vacuum) Super easy. Definitely the place Togo to make sure your car is actually washed. no other car wash in the area is going to clean it for as cheap Let alone actually clean it :/ read more

For 3 bucks, you can easily get a very decent car wash and clean interior that rivals the 8 dollar places. He even gave me extra minutes to wash my car on the house! At the end of the car wash, he gave me a free air freshener and handed them out to everyone else there that was getting a car wash too.
