I raved about Zeavy's the first time I came when my car was filthy and bam my car was spanking clean but the second time around is a different story unfortunately. I'm posting this as it's been a while but this video has been sitting in my Photos and need to share my experience. I went for a normal wash at Zeavy's. Oh by the way, I ran out of time with the machine, so I put 2 dollars in at first thinking that's enough time and the worker told me if I had more change. I said no. He said I lost the 2 dollars and he couldn't open the box for me. I told him "well, that's great. Now what?" He says, "Do you need a vacuum? I can set up the vacuum for you." I said "sure, okay. " Since I paid for it I guess just make use out of it. It was nice he came up with the idea but at first he had an attitude like "yep, you can't get the 2 dollars back." Everything was fine after and I left with my car clean going with my day. My car was very fragrant throughout the entire day from the wax I put as the last step of the washing process. The next morning, I saw my car decorated with winged insects stuck to my car like sappy glue. It was disgusting. This has not happened the first time I went to Zeavy's. I did the exact same numbered process and didn't deal with these pesty insects at all. I'm not sure if the formula changed but I'm thinking something had to do with the fragrance of the polish wax. Something from Zeavy's car wash cleaning supplies attracts gnarly insects. See my video and photo. Only car wash near by. I haven't had any other issues with the payments since last post. I'm still a little salty about the experience. However, car wash does the a good job of cleaning. I'm happy that they change out the heads of the car brush and tire brush so get better cleaning and less likely to scratch your paint. Also, they put in a new blower and use it to dry side mirrors, door handles and truck. Good value when charge properly. read more

Located at the intersection of Victory and Verdugo in Burbank. Hours listed as 6a-12a everyday. I tried this car wash out while running errands as I was tired of the car wash I was going to in Silverlake area not having soap or anyone there to fix anything. Zeavy car wash was a refreshing change! Soap actually came out of the brush! Amazing. First- start with the tire brush, yep there was soap and a great scrub for the tires. Water pressure was excellent all around. Lotsa soap came out of brush for overall cleaning of vehicle. No lag time between steps, no residue from previous function had to clear hose between steps. Again water pressure was amazing. It cost $8. Shows up as American Coin Car Wash Burbank on credit card statement. There are 4 holders for floor mats at washing station. I've been there twice now during regular business hours, a nice, friendly man was there on duty. Only thing is I wish you could stop it and not pay the whole $8. I had it down to 3.5 minutes at other place I went to. But I'll gladly pay $8 for SOAP and proper water pressure. This is a busy location. There may not be a drying area when you are done washing. There are 4 spots to dry (in complete shade) to right of entrance. But I didn't see clips to hold floor mats to drip dry. It was crowded though so I may not have been able to see them. The main drying area past washing bays has a sign giving 15 minutes to dry and leave. Only 2 clips to hold floor mats to drip dry at the drying station I used. During certain hours your car will be in at least partial sun at these drying stations. You can also vacuum here. After washing my vehicle here it looked almost showroom new after a cross country drive from LA to Chicago and back all in 3 weeks. The bugs, dirt, grime - everything was gone. Best wash my vehicle has had in awhile. Until I can get my own house or a way to wash my car at home I'll be going here to Zeavy's. read more

This is the cleanest and most advanced coin op car wash I have been to so far! Hours are from 6am-12am with up to 1 hour parking. $1 per minute with the best bang for the buck being $7 for 10 minutes. The stations accept both cash and credit card. All of the equipment was functioning properly. The foaming brush was nice and plush. They have a separate brush to clean your tires and rims, which I have not seen at any other coin op. There is also an attendant that roams through the place to assist with any issues. I was thoroughly impressed and highly recommend this coin op if you're in the area. read more

This is one of the worst car washes I've ever been to. The price is absolutely ridiculous for having to wash my own car. I spent $13 for a car wash and my car doesn't even look like it had been washed after. I used all of the selections: soap, wax, spot free rinse, etc and my car was still filthy. I felt so rushed during the 10 minutes trying to wash everything in time and then I didn't even have enough time to rinse the soap off completely, so I had to add more time. And the spot free rinse is certainly NOT spot free! After feeling completely ripped off at the car wash, should I have even been surprised to also have had to pay to pay for the vacuum? Well I was, and again, didn't get to finish vacuuming before it shut off. I wasn't about to sink anymore money into this car wash, so I left completely frustrated. I could barely even open my doors without hitting the car next to me to vacuum each side because the spaces are so close together. What a waste of money! There are at least 7 different bays, and often an attendant who will assist you in waiting behind the bay with the shortest time period, expediting the amount of time waited. The water pressure is good, the soap is soapy, and the credit card machines work. After the initial car washing, there are several stations with trash cans, rag wringers, vacuum cleaners, etc., and the vacuum cleaners come with two different settings to choose from (regular, 5 minutes, or turbo power, 4 minutes), and utilize credit cards so you don't need to fumble for change. read more

This is a great self-wash place. Very clean, very affordable. The spot-free rinse really is spot-free, if you know what I mean. Hey, sometimes, you forget the microfiber towels and need to dry with the wind. I only wish they included an air-dryer as part of the cleaning process, mainly to dry the water out of those hard to reach places. Don't bother with the other local places that scratch up your car. This is a great car wash to go to when you have the time ..and money. You pay per minute and you might think that 10 minutes is enough to clean your car but trust me, it will take longer. There are a bunch of steps involved with the washing process and being that the hose isn't the easiest to maneuver, it takes a little longer to get the job done right. I really like coming here and will continue to come here because of the hours and number of washing bays. It gets busy here on the weekend so make sure you come during the week or near closing. Overall I really like this Carwash, it's affordable, they take credit cards, and the workers clean it often. If you leave the car wash with water marks, random charges on your card or damage on your car then you definitely did something wrong lol. My issue is with the other customers. Once the sun goes down there are several wannabe yt car bros that think they're cool and say the N word hang out, play music and don't even wash their cars. They're waiting on their other bros. Today I came around 10:40 and the guy in the spot next to me whipped out his phone and started having a very loud conversation and I KNEW it in my heart and soul that he was going to start smoking a cigarette. And he did. He creeped me out already so I just put on a mask and dealt with it. No one said anything either. DO NOT USE YOUR CREDIT CARD HERE This place offers payment credit card with VERY bad instructions. It seems they don't want you to know how the system works so that they can charge you for the most time! If you swipe your card the system shows a charge a for $8 with no clear instructions how to change the amount if you want to use less time. After I swiped and realized the high charge I searched for an assistant to help and asked him to reimburse me for the time as I only used half of it. He was unwilling to help and said it was my problem. Not good customer service at all! Went to was my car today with my 5 year old son. I normally go to the Sonora Auto Spa, but my little one wanted to help wash the car. We pulled in the self car was, and waited behind one of the stalls for our turn. A man from the car wash approached our window and informed us the car was too dirty, and we were not going to be able to wash the car there. There is as sign he pointed to that he said indicating no too dirty cars. I asked him to confirm that they only want clean cars to come to the car wash, and he said yes. I said ok, and drove down the street to the other self wash, and was greeted by another gentleman who also stopped us from washing our car. He said they are owned by the same person and that they don't want any dirty cars, just clean ones. I really thought it was a joke at this point, but it really wasn't. I read a review on here that mentions that they do a spot free rinse and then speed on the freeway after , this is one option, or Id bring a few microfiber towels to actually dry before speeding off because hey, there's traffic. . I believe there are some towels for purchase too but I'd bring my own if I remember to do so. Quick and easy if you're down with cleaning your own car. I find this to be way more efficient than cleaning your car at a drive thru car wash. Card and coins accepted! Yup. I'm a convert. I've lived in LA for several years now, and have always wondered why people would DRIVE somewhere to wash their own cars. Now I know. One eye-roll about this place though... The countless men washing their "babies" (a.k.a.THEIR CARS) then taking pictures (even selfies) of them afterwards... If you are one of these people, know that everyone is judging. ;) Otherwise... I was so impressed with how clean and shiny my car got, and was a skeptic of the spot-free dry until now. I could wash & shine my tires for no extra charge, and all-in-all it took less time than if I got it washed by others. By the second trip to Zeavy's, we got the hang of the flow, and saved an extra dollar to boot. For $7 you get 10 mins of wash time. We always spend $8 as you can easily add an extra minute for $1. We used to spend $15+ (tax+tip) to have other people wash and dry the car, so it's a savings, AND my car is always WAY cleaner than when I have it cleaned by others. For efficiency, I like going with my hubs, as one can handle the nobs, and the other can handle the sprays and brushes. And it's more fun that way anyways. ;) read more

My favorite place to wash my vehicle. Yes, it's a self washing place. You will have to get your hands wet. It's only $10 for me and I get a good workout too. I think it's another $2 to vacuum the interior of the vehicle. Nothing is ever broken. There's a maintenance person there at times making sure all the vehicle cleaning fluids are topped off. I can always come here and know there won't be any problems. This is a well maintained establishment. Highly recommend this place if you like washing your own vehicle. read more

Okay so my car color is black which of course shows dirt and dust, I personally like mother nature to take care of my car... but since it had been a good 6 months since I had washed my slut and had been commented on the filth of my color often.. FINE.. I'll wash it.. I have yet to find a good car wash with previous bad experiences so I decided to go to the do your own. This wash is locate just blocks from my residence and I always see it busy.. so one night I saw an open spot and took advantage of it.. I swiped my card 3 times and nothing was happening.. swiped one more time.. then all of the sudden I had 10minutes and wonder how much did I just spend considering the sign stated $2.50 per wash.. either way.. I was washed away my car.. with just enough time to do one last rinse.. since I didn't' come prepared with towels or quarters for that matter.. I decided to do the good o' drive fast on the freeway and let it air dry.. Used to be my favorite cheap, clean car wash. You could swipe you card for a short but reasonable wash time. Add a dollar with an extra swipe. Now they've upgraded their equipment and turned on the screw job. Swipe now gets you 10 minutes, but that's the minimum and now costs $7!!! You can do a cheap drive thru wash for that kind of money. I put in four paper dollars for 4 minutes. Feels like the timer is running fast. I was zipping through and still had to put in a 5th dollar and even then, couldn't finish my rinse in time. At which point, my only options were another $4 or a $7 card swipe. No thanks. So, sad. This place used to be such a friendly little gem for those of us with meager funds. read more

I've driven by this place countless times and it seems to always be busy. I had heard it was $5 for the same amount of time before. It's too bad they raised it. I would probably take my time and spend $10 to get my really clean if it was the same rate still. I used the high pressure rinse, foaming soap rinse and spot-free rinse settings. I hesitate to use their brushes on the body of my car because I have seen people at other self-serve car washe use them on their tires too. There is a separate wheel and tire cleaner brush but not every one follows the guidelines. This self-serve car wash is nice. There is an attendant there to guide you to the next available stall. Just bring your patience and $1 or $5 bills. They also take credit cards. There are vacuum stations behind the car washing stalls but they fill up quick. This was my first time at a self car wash thing like this...and...I'm a fan! It was unexpectedly fun! I started off with $6 for 10 minutes but since I was slow and didn't know what I was doing, I added $6 which got me 8 more minutes. They have a pre-rinse, tire rinse, foam scrubber, spot free rinse and a clear coat as well. I think I could have done it in way less time but I learned! I like that I can give my car the TLC it needs because I am paying attention. And it was soothing! I'll be back! My rubbery flip flops turned out to be a major safety hazard...so wear proper footwear that can get wet but also not be too slippery!!! read more
