Came here for Easter because it wasn't full and they had a big table for all seven of us. Service is friendly and our waitress smiled every time she approached our table so you could see she cared about our experience. There are three grills on the big tables so you can spread out and don't need to wait too long for your food to cook. It's All You Can Eat, so you will leave full. Don't over order though because if you want to bring home leftover grill items, you'll have to pay for the overage, which is fair. There's a two hour limit but we were stuffed before then.

I come here every so often because it's local and not a bad spot to gather with friends. Staff can be a hit or miss at times but at least I come for the food. I really just enjoy the overall experience of korean bbq and the sides are always 5 star. Portions can lean towards the larger side even if it's just 2 people so i'm not able to get much variety of meats as i'm full of the first 3. haha

Yuuum. Korean food and all-you-can-eat BBQ in Olympia/Lacey area! It's located next to Atomy Olympia Center in the Tanglewilde Shopping Center. Lots of parking that won't ever be a problem. I didn't realize there was an AYCE KBBQ around the area until a friend suggested it one day. The restaurant had three dinner AYCE options with different prices: $22 for lunch; $26, $30, or $33 for dinner. My friends and I chose the cheapest one and began ordering the brisket, pork belly and shrimp. There wasn't much meat options that we could choose from compared to the normal KBBQ places I've been to, so we kept ordering the same things (brisket!!). The banchan (sides) are really good here. One of the workers (or owner?) said their kimchi is the best, and it was really good! The workers here are very nice even though we would need to call them to order more or get a refill on banchan/water. They came by each time with a cheerful attitude! Happy that there is actually a place for me to get my KBBQ fix during my time here. Definitely place if you want to indulge in endless meats and delicious banchan.

This place was delish! So fun cooking your own food. I think they skimp a tad on the meat, but all & all it was very good.

Unfortunately, I was looking at an outdated menu on Yelp, so the spicy tofu soup is no longer on the lunch specials, AND if you want a "lunch special," it needs to be specified when placing the order. I assumed that because it was lunch time, I would be paying the lunch pricing? That wasn't the case when I arrived. Parking seems to only be on the same side as the barber shop (which i think is connected to the restaurant as well?). When I walked in, I didn't really check out the place. Seems like a classic no-frills Korean restaurant. An ajumma (아줌마) appeared at the register after a couple seconds (lol that is the first description that came to mind). I informed her of my phone order and she brought out the food and rang me up for around $55? I was thinking, yikes, that's a steep price for a spicy tofu soup and a lunch special of the galbi and mentioned it to her. She told me that the portion made is not the lunch special and next time, make sure to specify that over the phone if I want the Lunch special or dinner portion. She clarified, while acting out the mannerisms, of customers that would complain about the Lunch special, because they would want a dinner portion instead, so she just places general orders as the dinner portion. (I can already imagine the Karens she must have received for her reaction, which is understandable, but at the time, I was just slightly irritated since I was hoping to pay a cheaper price.) I am assuming after this experience, there is a difference in portion size for the lunch and dinner pricing.. Besides the miscommunication, I can at least say that the food was prepared quickly since it was ready by the time I arrived at the restaurant (about 15 mins after I placed the order?). With the outcast weather, I was craving some soondubu, and Seoul Garden definitely delivered! The tofu portions were generous and the broth was the right amount of spicy where you can taste the flavor but it is not overwhelming. I was not expecting so many complementary sides either! They paired very well with the rice and galbi, which was thoroughly marinated in a delectable glaze. Even though I was initially frustrated that I received the dinner portion, I calmed down after eating the galbi. My son and I actually ended up devouring it.. the food was so good, I totally forgot about the pricing at the moment. Just keep in mind though, this place is not advertised as KBBQ, so you're paying for individual plates/dishes/orders that should already be cooked. I would only recommend this restaurant if there are certain staples you really enjoy (i.e. you're only craving bulgogi but don't want to go out to eat or grill it), because it is arguably just as expensive as KBBQ. But if you're a foodie that can afford it, I'd suggest stopping by to try it out yourself! :)

This spot happened to pop up as a nearby Google recommendation, so we decided to give it a try. Maybe it was the hunger talking, but the food tasted **absolutely spectacular** for something so simple! I ordered the K-Town Combo, which comes with two proteins, japchae, lettuce, and rice with curry all layered nicely in a bowl. I chose bulgogi and marinated pork with the Hot spice level, and everything sat on top of the lettuce, japchae noodles, and curry rice with a drizzle of sauce. It was seriously so good--flavorful, satisfying, and exactly what I needed after a long day. The restaurant itself is very small, with just a handful of tables that look like wooden benches, and there's no restroom, so it definitely feels more like a quick casual spot than a full sit-down restaurant. When we arrived around 6:30 PM, the place was empty, and we ended up chatting and eating until around 8:30 PM when they were about to close. It never got overly busy, though a few customers came in and out throughout the evening, so it seems like a pretty casual, low-key vibe. One thing that did throw me off was finding the place. I came from the direction of the roundabout and somehow struggled to spot it--maybe I was just tired. Parking wasn't too bad overall, but I think I may have approached from the wrong direction when I tried to park in front. I'll be honest--I didn't really pay attention to the cleanliness because I was too focused on enjoying the food. I didn't get sick and I left feeling full and happy, so overall I'd say it was a great experience. My only real gripe was how difficult it was for me to find, but the food alone makes me want to come back and try more from the menu.

Sister had to do some groceries and she mentioned going for Korean and getting seafood pancake. Hmm salad, Korean seafood pancake. Let's go. Love the shopping plaza Gangnam is in as it has other international businesses here. Oh yay, real Koreans, annyeonghaseyo! We never grill for ourselves as I mess it up and it never tastes the same so traditional dining for us. Sister says she has to have seafood pancake but as a family we decided on set A. While waiting we had tea. And to my delight, it was rice tea. So I know this place is fo' real. Tea wasn't too hot and so we were able to sip it right away. And for summer, it's a bit cooler so the warmth of the tea was really comforting. First main dish that came out was the fried mackerel. Not that I'm an expert in this but 10-days going through S Korea and getting to experience the local cuisine for each province, this was bringing back great memories of our trip. Since we didn't have anyone to clean our fish, I was more than happy to clean the bones from the fish. Very little bones and so we were able to eat the fish easily without worrying about choking on it. Everything was so good. So much food. As for lunches, never a fan of it, but my sister enjoyed it and said it was good kind of spicy. Two kinds of broccoli, the one noticeably broccoli was seasoned well and I ate that up. The other broccoli was thinly sliced stems that was pickled with jalapeños. I bit too vinegary for me. But I pretty much finished up all the other banchan. The other main dishes of bulgogi and japchae dos not disappoint. The ladies that served us were so sweet and helpful. Told my sister that every year we visit, Gangnam is a must. The dining area was spotless, and it's obvious the owners take pride in keeping the restaurant clean. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended for me. After reading the Yelp reviews, I expected authentic, flavorful Vietnamese food. Instead, every dish we ordered: two different types of rolls, the kids' beef pho, the bánh mì, and a noodle dish, were overwhelmingly salty. Even adding Sriracha couldn't cut through the saltiness. Everyone has different tastes, but this was far from the balanced flavor profile I expect from a Vietnamese cuisine. I also understand this is a family-run business, but the service was virtually nonexistent. We rarely saw anyone after our food was brought out, and there was little effort to check on customers or provide a welcoming dining experience; even when you're less than 10 feet from our table. Finally, charging $3 for a can of soda is nothing short of highway robbery. At that price, I expected at least a fountain drink with refills, not a single can. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, especially for a family-owned business, but reviews are meant to reflect honest experiences. Based on the food, service, and pricing, this was an underwhelming visit and, unfortunately, not a restaurant I'll be returning to.
