Food was okay at best and the chef was extremely rude. First he told me my bowl was filled too high and I'd have to pay for a larger bowl. Okay, that's fine, I'll pay for what I get. Then when he started cooking it, he handed me another empty bowl and told me I needed to add more. Which is it? Too full? Or I need to add more? I feel like those are two different things. Or was it his way of making sure I had to buy a bigger bowl? Either way, I'm not going back. I'll stick with the other Mongolian BBQ places in town from here on out. read more

Not a safe family friendly environment. If I could give this place a negative star I would and not because of the quality of the food but more so for what I witnessed today while eating. I witnessed the chef (manager so he yelled) verbally attack a female customer about the the amount of food she had. There were three people with medium sized bowls, two had bowls stacked high and this gal had her bowl filled at or less than theirs. The two people paid for a medium bowl. The cook told the woman she was going to have to pay for a large bowl because she had too much. She had less than I did when I brought my medium bowl up. It was apparent the lady was not trying to cause trouble she was soft spoken and very small. The man was absolutely rude yelling at her in front of everyone. Absolutely unprofessional. I assume the woman asked to speak to his manager as I would of as well when I heard him yelling he was the manager. He kept yelling at her that she would pay for that bowl and she was trying to just leave as I would as well if you just made me look like that in front of everyone. This should have been handled so much more professionally. Attacking someone is absolutely not okay and it made me feel uncomfortable eating there. A manager should lead by example. I will not be a returning customer, not because the food was bad or that something bad happened to me but because I was a paid customer watching a person get attacked in front of an entire room of people over what he considered was 'too much by eyeballing'. And not attacked by a lack luster employee but a manager. I feel awful for the woman who was yelled at today and hope she isn't as embarrassed as I would have been in that situation. Again, the issue should have been resolved with professionalism and kindness not belittling and kicking down of a soft spoken, sweet woman. Shame on management. You lost that customer I'm sure and this one for life. read more

I have made several visits to this restaurant. It remains consistent over the years. Maintains good selection. Interior is basic, but clean. Chefs are efficient and I've never been unhappy with cooking...always appreciative of tips. Service is mediocre, on a good day the server will offer to refill your drink...also bad habit of bringing the bill two minutes into meal. I'm generally happy with a good Mongolian BBQ bowl, so hence the 4 star rating. read more

I am a big fan of Mongolian bbq but this place missed the mark. The selection of the vegetables and toppings were really good but the noodles were gross. It was like they opened up a package of top ramen and soaked them for a few minutes. If they would use better noodles it would be a decent place. read more

Clean and bright with great staff, this is my favorite Mongolian BBQ in the Treasure Valley. The selection of ingredients is pretty standard and Krab is offered Friday and Saturday. The many times I have eaten here, I have never seen any ingredient that wasn't fresh. It's a nice lunch spot and you can walk across the parking lot afterwards and grab a Mocha at Starbucks. If you like Mongolian BBQ or you've tried it in the past and didn't like your experience, give #1 a try. You won't be disappointed! read more

Not a standard mongo bbq. Sauce has no taste. They said i need to put a lot more than normal mongo bbq place. There would be extra charge for sauce. Extra charge for sharing with your young kids. There should be an option for 0 stars. Don't get me wrong, because I'm usually not like this, but hey when you're this far north.... you should probably learn proper english so that when someone asks you,"How much for both these bowls together?" you don't reply something stupid such as $13 dollars, when that's only the price of one. Also they don't seem to honor their "word" came in with a coupon that had "never expires" written on it. The place was a hotbox and to make matters worse.... when i got home, i had to put so much salt on everything just to have some taste.. I have never had noodles this bad from mongolian bbq but i only ever go to the one off of fairview....which is far superior in every way. go the extra mile or 2 hit up the bbq at fairview/milwaukee. I have Gone 3 times to this Mongolian barbecue 15 minutes before they closed and the lights are on. The employees are in there chilling and cleaning up with the doors locked with no service. If you're going to shut down a quarter till you close every night, you really should change your sign that verifies you don't close at 9:00 pm. This place is amazing! I frequent here a lot. I actually frequent here so much that they usually get my drink without me asking they just clarify with me! The place is very clean and the people are just so very nice. I've never had a bad experience there, and the lines are short if you come at the right time, which I do! I love to talk to the waiter and waitress, they are amazing to talk to. I also LOVE how you can see the food right in front of you. You can see that none of them are sabotaging or spitting in your food, not like I would think those kind people are doing that. Also, the new remodel was amazing! I went in here to get dinner to go. It sounded so good, and is also easy to take home. I walked in and it was deserted. There were a few guys who worked there sitting at a table in the back. I made my dish, took it up to be cooked. While waiting, I started to look around, and noticed that the cooking area was absolutely filthy. The floor looked like it hasn't been scrubbed in a long time. As I stood there, I started having reservations. When I went up to pay, and a guy walked up with my rice wearing dirty flip flops, I completely lost my appetite. I paid for my dinner, but by the time I hit the car, I knew there was no way I was eating anything out of that restaurant, whether I had paid for it or not. I went across the road to the small chinese restaurant near the apple store, and when I got home, I threw away my stir fry. No thank you, I won't be doing back. read more
