Only been twice, and both times had a good experience and the food was tasty. It is a "higher end" place, so expect to bring your wallet.

WOW. First time here and my wife has always tried to get me to come here. Let me say that I am happy I did. Was seated very fast, and greeted with a warm smile by everyone we encountered. Our server was on . She made sure refills were there before needed, the appetizer was brought quick and every plate that was used seemed to disappear just as fast as the food did. The food is mostly made from scratch. The bread, sauces, etc. were DELICIOUS! My wife recommends the Pink Coconut drink. Price was a bit higher than some places (we are a family of 6) but it was so worth it! I strongly recommend this place. Already planning our next visit while we drive away. read more

Tried thus place last night. Ate in basement which is 21 and over. Basement was very nice and enjoyed the atmosphere and the company of the other couple we were with. Everything we ate was wonderful except one thing. The wonderful / pretzel appetizer and the crab stuffed mushroom appetizer. Salads and tomato horseradish soup was excellent. Table had black and blue steak tips, gumbo and soup and grilled cheese - was excellent. Whipped potatoes and cream corn was delicious. The bread which was served was excellent. The UGLY - wife got the chicken and noodles. She asked if it was all white meat which the waitress said it was. Well the homemade noodles and gravy was delicious. It had chunks of chicken in it. It was the most disgusting looking chicken I have ever seen on a plate in restaurant. Anywhere for that matter. It was 30 % white meat with the remains being not fit for a dog. Chucks of fat, cartilage, dark meat and a bone. Whoever cleaned the chicken needs to be fired . How to ruin a beautiful meal was definitely accomplished by this fool. I would really give 5 stars except for this. We are not the type to complain at a waitress or waiter. It was $50 for wife and I and really believe that the waitress should have picked up on the gross factor and denied it from the kitchen. Owner - if you read this - it was 4/12/2014 t approximately 6 pm seating. I am sure you know better - but your staff does not. Teach them. While the food is always good the front of house is miserable. Not only inaccurate in wait times but rude and no idea what the definition of customer service is. I have tried and tried - will never come here again because the issue is consistent. I love to support local but I am done. I have never seen such a rude front of house. read more

This place is a regular on our rotation and I'm shock [shocked, I say!] to discover I've not done an update in over a year. WTH? So, tonight [Tues] the special is burger and a beer for $10-11. We're drawn to it but we both select other options - with the aid of our pro server Aimee - and we're not disappointed! She chooses the baked horseradish encrusted walleye w/ horseradish tomato bisque & grilled asparagus and I choose the sirloin medium rare, Caesar salad & grilled asparagus. *Frankly, I'm hesitant to order walleye out most places because I've caught and eaten a lot of the fresh in Canada but she's game to try. Her plate made me a believer in the walleye here. Crispy w/ a hint of zippy and absolutely delicious! I seriously wanted to eat both of our entrees. Her bisque was surprising singular and very satisfying. Never had it before and we both liked. Both orders of grilled asparagus were a little woody for our liking but we ate it all. My steak; served closer to medium than medium rare but can't fault too badly. Excellent sear from the grill and delicious. I remark more than twice that it is, by far, the most tender sirloin I've ever eaten and very tasty. Standard caesar salad but I believe the dressing housemade as are the croutons. As per usual, we had an excellent meal in a wonderful establishment with excellent service [Thanks Aimee!]. If you're looking for a nice experience and good food/service to boot - strongly suggest you check it out! And even though we did not order dessert tonight - just do it. Went here for the first time to get corned beef and cabbage on St Patty's Day. This was the start of COVID-19 so they were doing take out only but everything went smoothly and it was delish! I've heard they have a steak special on Wednesdays so it's on my to-do list to check that out. Looking forward to returning soon! read more

We had dinner here for my sons birthday. He said it was the best steak he has ever had. There is no outdoor seat here so you have to seat inside which was fine. We had plenty of space. The service was fine. We will come back again for sure. read more

I blew it! I was dieting this week and then we tried 10 West for the first time. I ordered walleye and my husband ordered pork tenderloin medallions with maple pecan sweet potatoes...Soooo delicious! As an appetizer we had mini grilled cheese with horseradish dipping soup. Even though we didn't have the room for dessert we ordered it anyway (did I mention I blew my diet!?!?) salted carmel pecan cheesecake with a hint of almond. The service was excellent and although I was a little worried about the experience when they led us to the basement, the decor was very warm with a second full bar. We agreed it made it into our favorite top 5 restaurants in the Indianapolis area and that's why we try new restaurants on our bucket list! read more

First time here on a Saturday night. They have call ahead seating on weekends which made our wait shorter. We had the grilled cheese crostinis with the tomato horseradish soup. The horseradish wasn't kidding around.. a little too much for me but still good. We also ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms which were amazing. Fish tacos were also great. No one at my table was very impressed with their cocktails though. They were mediocre drinks especially for the price. The food is worth the trip though. Valentine's dinner tonight. The food was all cooked to perfection. We arrived early, had a drink in the Hideout lounge, we were seated exactly on time with our reservation. The table we had was perfect. We were seated in the window seat, alone, well away from others. Music playing was nice, not loud. The service could not have been better. Appetizers, salad and entree were timed perfectly. The servers were efficient and not intrusive. We always enjoy 10 West but tonight everything seemed to be at the next level. Full bar(s) service and a diverse menu. Highly recommend for good casual dining or happy hour with friends. I have also held 2 large private events in their banquet area. Awesome food & service. New to Indiana ask my niece where to get a great steak with excellent service, not just good but great. She suggested 10 West. We had Joe has our waiter, very attentive not overbearing. We started with the mushrooms stuffed with crab, I agree with earlier post, pretty good, sauce was delicious. Husband had bleu/black steak with bleu cheese, onions & mushrooms, excellent. I had a COLD RIB. Woman stopped to check on our meals, I told her it was COLD. She reached for the plate & said I'll get you fresh steak immediately. The steak came with fresh sides and was piping hot. The steak was perfectly cooked & delicious. They removed the steak from our bill & offered a complimentary dessert. We ordered the warm chocolate/carmel something cake. It was heaven on a plate. Made reservations a week ago. We arrive on time and they try to seat us at bar stool table. We have older persons with disabilities and could not sit on bar stools. They were unwilling to provide normal seating that was available. We always chose this as a restaurant to take friends/relatives. We will never go there again.. read more

The Gumbo was crap. It tasted like beef gravy... which would be fine if I had ordered a dish of beef gravy. The heat was mild. The consistency was soupy. The sausage wasn't hot andouille, but a cross between a sweet kielbasa and a hot dog, which was mildly sickening. The whole point of the spices is to cover up the taste of hog's anus. Total cheat. There were also lumps of flavorless (boiled?) chicken and thick raw scallions, like bamboo, dropped in on top. Worst gumbo ever. read more

We are visiting from out of town. My son brought us here for dinner. The restaurant is in a charming little town. It was very busy on on a Thursday night. We had called ahead and got right in. After a rough start, we had the most delightful evening at 10 West with our twenty-something-aged kids. Our son called earlier this week to inquire about reservations, but the person who answered the phone didn't provide accurate information. When we arrived a half hour after their opening time at 4:30, we were told we would have to wait 45 minutes since we had a person in our party who is in a wheelchair. Our son shared his frustration, and they set us up in the (new?) dining room to the west of the main restaurant. It was completely wonderful! The service was perfect, the food was fabulous, and we enjoyed the time with our two kids and their loves in the privacy of our own room! This restaurant is in quaint downtown Cicero, and has a wonderful wheelchair lift. The men's room was big enough for a customer in a wheelchair, too. This restaurant is disabled-friendly. read more

I really like 10 West. We have only been one time so far but we do intend to go back more often. The atmosphere is appealing to me. The downstairs dining area gives me an old fashioned speak easy vibe for some reason. I think this restaurant is warm and inviting. We did not take kids with us and I am not sure that I would. I feel this is more of an adult, date-night type of establishment just because it is smaller and more intimate. You can definitely take kids but this is just my preference. The food was amazing. Especially the appetizers. I could just order several appetizers for my meal and be happy. 10 West is a much needed change to the landscape of the Noblesville/Cicero area. read more
