My wife and I were in Cicero on a Sunday close to noon, but we had already ate breakfast hours ago. The one local restaurant had a small line outside of people waiting on breakfast, so we chose 10 West hoping for a decent lunch. Upon being seated, our waiter showed us the brunch menu and we almost left, but decided to stay and try the more lunch type foods on the lunch limited menu. I had the salmon BLT, and was completely in love with every bite. It came with fries, but I substituted the Tomato horseradish soup which was awesome and not too spiced. The perfect compliment to this extravagant lunch was the bloody Mary bar where I put all the olives I wanted in my drink. Funny thing about this trip was my wife ordered the Indiana Sugar creme pie pancakes for lunch...they were great but we brought half of it home.

This was my first time here for dinner. The drinks were great. Our server was always right there when we needed her and my lord the food. Absolutely fantastic. I had the prime rib special and my wife had the manhattan we both were incredibly pleased and my son loved his grilled cheese and fruit. It was a good mix of like date night vibes but also family friendly. I really can't believe it took me 2 years to finally come here but the Thursday night special will definitely bring me back!

My wife and I were regulars here for nearly 10 years. We loved everything about it, from the food and service, to atmosphere and entertainment. It was a staple of Cicero, and it was the only place I would recommend in Hamilton County. I even included a screenshot of my first review for comparison. Unfortunately, the 10 West that we came to love and appreciate no longer exists. As of March 2024, the heart and soul behind what made this restaurant what it was - Bill and Lisa - parted ways with their business partner. Before the switchover, the social media presence and communication was top notch. After the FaceBook post announcing the departure and new staff, however, there was radio silence. No introduction of the new Chef or owners, and no recognition of the change. The new owners were merely trying to ride on the coattails of 10 years of incredible success by staying as quiet as they possibly could, hoping no one would notice. For us, however, the change in management was blatantly obvious in our first (and only visit) after the turnover. Upon arriving, there was an empty feeling in the restaurant. No personality, no charisma, and a heavy sense of defeat in the staff. It was reminiscent of a funeral home, which was appropriate, given the circumstances. At this point in time (04/2024) many of the same staff members were there, and we saw a few familiar faces. Those that we knew from the past decade were happy to see us, came over to say hey, and catch up on everything that had changed. We visited with 5 separate employees during our visit, which was the only highlight of the night. Here are some of the issues/concerns we observed during this visit: - We were given dirty appetizer plates and menus when seated They changed the coasters to very thin tagboard material, which curled when it got wet, and eventually shredded itself when picking up your drink glass - The spinach dip appetizer was no longer fresh spinach, but frozen. The drop in quality was very obvious. Additionally, they didn't even shred the frozen spinach similar to their predecessors did with the fresh spinach, which made it even more difficult to scoop with a chip - Cocktails were watered down compared to before, but the cost was the same - Dishes sat on our table for up to 20 minutes before being taken away, proving that they weren't touching the tables on a regular basis to keep everything clear for customers - My steak was overcooked - My wife's fish was burnt, not blackened - The floor manager was making rounds to tables, and because he saw us talking to multiple employees he must have known we were regulars. You would think that would be a perfect situation to introduce yourself to your loyal customer base, ask for feedback, and bridge the gap between ownership. Instead, he made eye contact with us multiple times, but avoided us the entire night. - The cake was one of the driest, most bland desserts I've ever had at a restaurant. The icing was very thin, and it tasted as if it was made no less than 5 days prior. To summarize: I will never be back to this location. It's obvious they cut corners every way they could to maximize profit. It's an insult to what 10 West used to be, but you know they won't change the name, or it would be obvious to everyone that it's no longer the same. However, the regulars knew right away, just like us. I have since been informed that after our visit that 10 West is under new ownership (again), only this time the owners of The Nesst in Noblesville. I wasn't impressed with them either, as their food was overpriced and underwhelming. If you want to experience the culinary perfection that was here during the first decade, go pay a visit to bar ellis in Noblesville. It is owned and operated by Lisa, her sister Chamron, and Bill is still working his magic in the kitchen. You will see a lot of familiar faces/dishes, a higher standard in every regard, a beautifully restored building, and the REAL after dark menu, not the one 10 West copied and began doing after bar ellis opened. 10 West removed this review from Google (and all negative Google reviews in the past year) which proves that I was right. I'll be screenshotting this after posting, because I'm sure they will try to do the same again.

Tried this place and I was blown away. This is a secret gem for sure. We had reservations which was good because on a Saturday at 7:30 it was packed. There was, however plenty of parking around the building so no worries there. The menu has something for everyone, steak, sandwiches, salads, pasta, just a wide variety of items to choose from. It took us all some time to pick what we wanted because everything sounded so good. I landed on steak and a baked potato. It was cooked to perfection. Because it was my birthday celebrations, I also was able to pick from a dessert. I picked the carrot cake. While typically I'm not the biggest fan of carrot cake, the server said how amazing it was and she was right. Lastly - They do have a speak easy type area in the basement called the cellar. We were able to have dinner down there (we put the request in ahead of time), but there were many people down there just have cocktails. Really nice vibe down there where you would want to go even if you aren't having dinner.

Went here for the first time to get corned beef and cabbage on St Patty's Day. This was the start of COVID-19 so they were doing take out only but everything went smoothly and it was delish! I've heard they have a steak special on Wednesdays so it's on my to-do list to check that out. Looking forward to returning soon! read more

We had dinner here for my sons birthday. He said it was the best steak he has ever had. There is no outdoor seat here so you have to seat inside which was fine. We had plenty of space. The service was fine. We will come back again for sure. read more

I blew it! I was dieting this week and then we tried 10 West for the first time. I ordered walleye and my husband ordered pork tenderloin medallions with maple pecan sweet potatoes...Soooo delicious! As an appetizer we had mini grilled cheese with horseradish dipping soup. Even though we didn't have the room for dessert we ordered it anyway (did I mention I blew my diet!?!?) salted carmel pecan cheesecake with a hint of almond. The service was excellent and although I was a little worried about the experience when they led us to the basement, the decor was very warm with a second full bar. We agreed it made it into our favorite top 5 restaurants in the Indianapolis area and that's why we try new restaurants on our bucket list! read more

Unfortunately, every time we have been there, the servers have been pretty pushy to turn their table, but it is a small place so it's kind of understandable. Definitely going again and again! Valentine's dinner tonight. The food was all cooked to perfection. We arrived early, had a drink in the Hideout lounge, we were seated exactly on time with our reservation. The table we had was perfect. We were seated in the window seat, alone, well away from others. Music playing was nice, not loud. The service could not have been better. Appetizers, salad and entree were timed perfectly. The servers were efficient and not intrusive. We always enjoy 10 West but tonight everything seemed to be at the next level. First time here on a Saturday night. They have call ahead seating on weekends which made our wait shorter. We had the grilled cheese crostinis with the tomato horseradish soup. The horseradish wasn't kidding around.. a little too much for me but still good. We also ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms which were amazing. Fish tacos were also great. No one at my table was very impressed with their cocktails though. They were mediocre drinks especially for the price. The food is worth the trip though. Service was average for a busy weekend night. read more

We had a good experience here. The service was bit slow but the food and atmosphere are nice. They have awesome bread so make sure not to be watching your carbs when come here! I ordered the bacon wrapped pork medallions and really enjoyed them. My daughter liked the pulled pick sliders too. Definitely a place to keep in the rotation. read more

10 West is a gem in the rough. I haven't had a bad experience or heard anyone complain about a visit. The food is great quality, atmosphere is inviting, and the staff is attentive/friendly. The best spot to sit is in the basement area if everyone is over 21. You have the option to call ahead and place your name on the waiting list prior to arrival. Every Wednesday is the Filet special including one side with a salad or soup. $14.99 I would also recommend the pretzel breadsticks with the outstanding queso dip and the Caribbean Flatbread Pizza. Don't miss out on an outstanding experience by passing on a dinner at 10 West. read more

Awesome food & service. New to Indiana ask my niece where to get a great steak with excellent service, not just good but great. She suggested 10 West. We had Joe has our waiter, very attentive not overbearing. We started with the mushrooms stuffed with crab, I agree with earlier post, pretty good, sauce was delicious. Husband had bleu/black steak with bleu cheese, onions & mushrooms, excellent. I had a COLD RIB. Woman stopped to check on our meals, I told her it was COLD. She reached for the plate & said I'll get you fresh steak immediately. The steak came with fresh sides and was piping hot. The steak was perfectly cooked & delicious. They removed the steak from our bill & offered a complimentary dessert. We ordered the warm chocolate/carmel something cake. It was heaven on a plate. Can't wait to go back & try other items on the menu. read more

Our second trip here...once again for our anniversary. Great food and service. As before we had the crustini's. I had the chicken masala and the wife had 6oz filet. Our friends had salmon pasta and bacon wrapped tenderloin. All the food was great and we all thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We were in the basement which was very nice. read more

Great food, atmosphere and service. One of the best non-chain restaurants on the North side. Bartenders make a "good" cocktail and Lisa makes sure your dining experience keeps you coming back. Full bar(s) service and a diverse menu. Highly recommend for good casual dining or happy hour with friends. I have also held 2 large private events in their banquet area. Dedicated servers and bartender rival larger venues in Indy. It is worth the drive to Cicero. read more

Made reservations a week ago. We arrive on time and they try to seat us at bar stool table. We have older persons with disabilities and could not sit on bar stools. They were unwilling to provide normal seating that was available. We always chose this as a restaurant to take friends/relatives. We will never go there again.. read more

The Gumbo was crap. It tasted like beef gravy... which would be fine if I had ordered a dish of beef gravy. The heat was mild. The consistency was soupy. The sausage wasn't hot andouille, but a cross between a sweet kielbasa and a hot dog, which was mildly sickening. The whole point of the spices is to cover up the taste of hog's anus. Total cheat. There were also lumps of flavorless (boiled?) chicken and thick raw scallions, like bamboo, dropped in on top. Worst gumbo ever. read more

We are visiting from out of town. My son brought us here for dinner. The restaurant is in a charming little town. It was very busy on on a Thursday night. We had called ahead and got right in. For appetizers, we ordered mini grilled cheese and crab stuffed mushrooms. The grilled cheese were good, but the mushrooms were some of the best I've had. We all had sandwiches or salads. We went with 8 people for a family gathering at 10 West. We could not have been more pleased and we all agreed it was the best place we had been together for a long time. We will put this on our list to revisit. I thought that the crab stuffed mushrooms could use a little more seasoning. My bacon wrapped pork tenderloin was very good. My wife's walleye was also very good. The atmosphere was good but a little loud for our 15th anniversary dinner. Overall a great experience for our first time here we plan to return. read more

I really like 10 West. We have only been one time so far but we do intend to go back more often. The atmosphere is appealing to me. The downstairs dining area gives me an old fashioned speak easy vibe for some reason. I think this restaurant is warm and inviting. We did not take kids with us and I am not sure that I would. I feel this is more of an adult, date-night type of establishment just because it is smaller and more intimate. You can definitely take kids but this is just my preference. The food was amazing. Especially the appetizers. I could just order several appetizers for my meal and be happy. 10 West is a much needed change to the landscape of the Noblesville/Cicero area. read more

A lot of our friends live out of town and whenever they come into town we always take them to 10 West. Are never disappointed with the food and the wait staff there are Excellent. Especially love the downstairs. It's quaint quiet the atmosphere very nice. Great place to talk with your friends. The upstairs is a bit too loud and noisy with the high ceilings. Otherwise our go to place in Cicero Indiana read more

After a rough start, we had the most delightful evening at 10 West with our twenty-something-aged kids. Our son called earlier this week to inquire about reservations, but the person who answered the phone didn't provide accurate information. When we arrived a half hour after their opening time at 4:30, we were told we would have to wait 45 minutes since we had a person in our party who is in a wheelchair. Our son shared his frustration, and they set us up in the (new?) dining room to the west of the main restaurant. It was completely wonderful! The service was perfect, the food was fabulous, and we enjoyed the time with our two kids and their loves in the privacy of our own room! This restaurant is in quaint downtown Cicero, and has a wonderful wheelchair lift. The men's room was big enough for a customer in a wheelchair, too. This restaurant is disabled-friendly. read more

I wish I could base this review off actually getting an opportunity to experience 10 West. I called around 5:30 and asked if I could make a reservation for 2 for 7:30. She asked me to call back at 6:30 to make a reservation. So I called back and she told me she does not take reservations for parties of 2. She wasted my time and could have told me that and everything would have been fine. Would have had more time to make other plans. Very disappointed as we were excited to finally get a chance to experience this place. read more

I was a bit surprised at the overall lack of bold flavors. The price point is great, and you get a lot of pizza for the dollar, but I was expecting much more of a flavor explosion. I had high hopes, because visually this pizza closely resembles my hometown favorite pizza as a kid (Volcano Pizza in Elkhart), but it just didn't live up to the expectations. I'm sure I'll give this place another try at some point, and maybe experiment with some other pizza combinations on the menu.

I love a variety of different kinds of pizza and this one definitely fits a niche style. Great thin crust, slightly sweet sauce and great flavor from the crust up to the toppings. Our 10 month old son didn't make a peep as he was eating his share! I am excited to go back and try the hand tossed crust. We had the original and ultra thin crusts and I think I liked the original slightly better but both were great!

They also have a large patio space to the west of the building, where they have a trailer serving beverages and live music available. Only real negative was the the door to the patio space was right next to our booth in the northwest corner of the bar area, which allowed a brisk breeze in each time it was opened. FOOD: 4/5 The Bavarian Pretzel ($13) is large and decent. It's served on an upright pretzel holder, heavily salted, and served with a beer cheese that seemed a tad runny and a spicy maple mustard that seemed more sweet than spicy. My wife ordered Blackened Fish Tacos ($17), which come as an order of 2 with cabbage and onion and a side of chips and salsa. She said the tacos were very tasty, the chips and salsa were just OK. I ordered the Blackened Fish Sandwich ($17), which was served on a hoagie-type roll with lettuce, tomato, and onions along with a pickle and side of house-made chips. The fish sandwich had good flavor, and while I appreciated that they made their chips, their flavor was just OK and I couldn't easily access many of the crumbs that scattered through the bottom of the basket. OVERALL: 4/5 Food was good to very good. For the prices charged, the value was not as good as we would have liked. *They do appear to have a happy hour Tuesday-Friday 4:00-6:00 that offers half price on the wings and pretzel as well as some beverage specials.

MR.T It seems that your visit, 15 months ago, to this restaurant really made an impact on you. It is very interesting that the one thing you know for sure, it is not currently owned by the same person from your visit in 2024, does not stop you from writing a terrible review that has nothing to do with an experience after the ownership change or even in this calendar year. It is a little hard to grasp the understanding of your anger when the outcome surrounding the change is a wonderful thing for those you support, or the direction in which your anger is pointed when the change of ownership had nothing to do with the parting of ways 16 months ago. As a business owner, I know, we never want to hear that someone has not enjoyed their time spent with us. That being said, still not quite understanding why you are so determined to take down the new owners on a situation that clearly had nothing to do with them, or maybe even their current staff. Seems like this is not about a review at all but more about trying a cause harm to a business, actually 2 since you took the time to shit on the other location as well to insult the new owners more. BTW, 10 West did not remove this review from Google, or all negative Google reviews in the past year, Google removed your review .... which proves that I was right. This was not a true review on a business but more someone being determined to cause harm to people he doesn't know, in a business that he may not have any concept of. I don't know what has been done to you for you to continue to search for any outlet to spread false and damaging libel, but it would sure be appreciated if you found a more productive way to support and promote the things, or places, you love. These days being a KIND human is so important. We certainly don't HAVE to support anything but why take the time to hurt people? Bad days, bad times, bad meals, bad cars, bad dreams, bad people....so much can be bad. Realize that in this life YOU are the difference! You are the spreader of hope, love, joy, and happiness. I recently had the pleasure of dining at 10 West, and I must say, the experience was truly outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was inviting and the staff made us feel right at home. What truly elevated our visit, though, was our server, Rachael. She was warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Rachael struck the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness--always present when we needed her, but never overbearing. Her recommendations were spot-on the Chicken Milanese was absolutely delicious, and she made sure every detail of our meal was perfect. It's rare to find someone who genuinely enhances the dining experience the way Rachael did. She made us feel like valued guests, not just customers. Thanks to her, our evening was not only delicious but also genuinely enjoyable. The food was great. We had the grilled salmon, black & beu steak, and the chef special. Server Rodney earned a 25% +tip for excellent service and delivery what he promised. The wait was horrible.... And we called ahead, told an hour..arrived in 42 minutes. From call to being seated it was 90 minutes. Four people were running the desk and they didn't seem to interact with the customers very much. We saw our table be outfitted with silverware and menus 10 minutes before we were seated. Almost ready to leave when my spouse asked again about our table. The desk said it was being set up and it was already done. We noted several tables left vacant while they were telling people a wait time. read more

Our recent dinner at 10 West Restaurant in Cicero, IN was truly delightful. Megan, our server, stood out with her excellent service, care, and friendly demeanor throughout the evening. The meals we ordered, including the Filets, Burger, and NY Steak, were all exceptional in taste and presentation. The restaurant's lively atmosphere and popularity added to the overall enjoyment of our dining experience. Dining in the cellar brought a unique and fun twist to the evening. i went to this place and a crazy lady said, "i want your order food nypd under arrest" and i ordered some mushroom pie and she said "we dont carry mushroom pie today sir if you like a home slice get to the hood. wooaooaoooaohoahohohaohaohaoha get pranked in the hood gone wrong shots fired homeless edition" and i politely stated that i wasn't homeless and she claimed to be sam pepper. also, she wasn't really sam pepper. she then gave me some nice good pickles, i meant mushroom pie. it was yummy but i just wanted to be pals with sam pepper. :'-( read more

We have yet to eat here, but plan too based on reviews we have read thus far. Like two other downtown restaurant's it has "No" dedicated parking, and customers would have to park in the nearby Church parking lot and walk about half a block to it. We are looking forward to trying it in the next two days. read more
