We've been eating at 110 Grill since they opened here, but I think this is the last time we will go. Our server was very sweet & seemed attentive, but I don't know what was happening between the table and the kitchen. I don't think it was the server's fault because she kept noticing when the kitchen screwed something up. 2 mistakes on the food at our table of just 3 people, and while we were sitting there, there were 4 or 5 additional instances of servers/staff apologizing to people and bringing out new dishes so it wasn't just us or the server. And the food was...not great. There is so much great local produce out right now. Why are the beets on the beet salad not fresh? Why are you using crappy cheap mozzarella on the tomato & moz salad? The kids meal arrived last at the table, and was one of the incorrect dishes (grilled chicken not chicken tenders). When we asked for the correct meal, they brought chicken fingers back with a huge dollop of some sort of mustardy sauce under the chicken fingers. It's a kids meal - sauce should be on the side not "decorating" the plate. The food is no where near the quality it should be at this price. I expect this food from a crappy chain restaurant attached to an aging Howard Johnson. Yuck. read more

I was wondering whether it wasn't a bad idea, but I was kinda busy and it was on the way. Got a beer ($7 Lagunitas) and decided they really need to flush their lines (flat and off tasting). Made the mistake of ordering a turkey burger before noting that the menu said (ok, I don't know if it really said this) that it would come drowning in cream cheese. But cream cheese can be scraped off and the oversized, soggy bun set aside, and the burger part of the burger was pretty tasty. Fries were those short stubs that populate the bottom of a bin under a heat lamp, but I guess the bulb was out because they were cold and wilted. Which brings to mind Tony Bourdain's critique of Jonny Rocket's on NPR this morning...but I digress. I would observe that so little of the meal was really edible that I was left wondering where to eat a proper meal, but this one left me slightly nauseated and not all that hungry. I was so impressed with their gluten free menu! This was hands down the most varied gluten free menu I've seen at a restaurant. My turkey burger was delicious and the gluten free bun was nice and soft and toasted around the edges perfectly. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the serving size of fries was very small. I'll be a repeat customer!!! read more

Our first time experience and we enjoyed it. From the Hostess to our waiter James, the staff were friendly, outgoing and attentive. The atmosphere was great and the place was decorated real tastefully. A choice of 3 levels of comfort, from the front, lounge and the back which is quietest. We sat in the Lounge with a great view of the open kitchen. The menu is perfectly done and caters to almost all dietary needs. We were told that they will adjust any menu item to meet your needs. Our meal was cooked perfectly and served promptly. We can give only one fault with the food, that can be easily changed. They have a heavy hand on sauces and dressings. I highly suggest a bust. The prices are a bit high, but well worth it. read more

Sat at the bar and the young waiter behind was overwhelmed, and didn't listen to my order, had to ask twice over a period of time what I ordered, I ordered the meatloaf, the broccoli was burning hot, the potatoes were ice cold and the meatloaf was average, when paying the same server kept my credit card behind the bar while serving other guests, I had to remind him after 10 minutes that he had my card, and to give me the final copy. That was a month ago, and the email I was told to expect never came. _____________________ Very unhappy with our take-out order. 2/3 burgers were overcooked and the portion of fries was despicable considering the price. Mostly good food, small menu. Had a salmon sandwich last week that was not too good. It was not solid salmon, but some kind of salmon mush. Don't get that sandwitch. A little cheap on the bread. The place reminds me of a Junior Burtons. A little pricey for what is offered. read more

It's a hit or miss when I come to 110 Grill. I have probably been here a good 6 times and I only really enjoyed myself about 3 times. I've had a delicious seasonal flatbread, the bbq chicken nachos are tasty, the fish and chips are great as well. Things my husband and I both didn't like: the beef stroganoff, the creamy tomato soup- not sure why but the soup was much too sweet. The staff and management are very welcoming and attentive. We went on a chilly Friday evening. Our server was Becca and she was nice enough to take our table outside. Apparently management had not scheduled anyone to take tables outside since the weather was cooling down. Becca was incredibly sweet and provided great service. Last night I went for dinner alone and was greeted by Marcos who took care of my every need during my visit. I took a chance this time and asked for recommendations ..... Along came the the Roasted Beet Salad and the Chimichurri Steak. I was hesitant but gave it a shot.... SUPERB!! Along with the prefect red wine, this was my absolute favorite visit to 110 Grill. We had a coupon from the brew fest so decided to come in for supper. The bread was delicious, nice and warm with herb butter! We also loved the tuna appetizer, it was fantastic. Hubby and I ordered tater tot poutine. The tater tots were crispy and yummy. It was an "assemble yourself" dish, with potatoes in bowl with two very small pitchers on the side. One pitcher had a savory onion sauce the other had some watery milky fluid in it. This dish was trying to be a deconstructed poutine. I get it. But menu didn't say this. And though the potatoes were very tasty, the white watery substance in the pitcher was all wrong. It wasn't cheese. It wasn't sauce. I ordered fish and chips. The fish was perfect. Flaky. Moist. The breading was light and crispy. The fries were ok. Fish was served on top of the fries and in a wire basket. It was really hard to get a bite of fish on my fork without getting fries in the same bite. And because of the kind of basket it was served in, it wasn't feasible to rearrange my plate of food. The side was a two tablespoon portion of very underdressed coleslaw. My husband was more satisfied with his steak tips. However they were unevenly cooked. One was cooked medium rare. The other was very very red and wiggly. He liked the mashed potatoes very much. I thought the two sprigs of broccoli that came with the dish a stingy side. I have a friend who goes there because she likes the nachos. Maybe we should have tried those. I doubt we will go back. The portions are not generous. The prices are a little high. Service never checked to see if we wanted drink refills. read more

Great food, Great service and Great atmosphere! I went there with my sister and her bf on a Friday night. Was told it would be a 40 minute wait. 15 minutes later our table was ready. Love how fast it was. Becca was our server and she was amazing. Every time a drink got low she was there to ask if we wanted a new one. The Chimichurri Steak I got was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a large meal for a great price. My sister and her bf loved there meals as well. Our family of 5 ate at this location at 6:30pm on a Saturday evening. We are glad we called ahead to make a reservation, as there was a wait for a table...and for good reason. THIS RESTAURANT IS EXCELLENT! Their seasonal menu had a good variety to choose from, and it is not your everyday average American fare either. We ordered the Cajun Yellowfin Tuna and Crispy Fried Pickle Chips as appetizers (not your average fare...see what I mean?), the Chicken Caprese Parmesean, the Citrus Swordfish and the Steak Tips as entrees, just to name a few. Our food was delicious, brought to our table in a very reasonable time, and cooked perfectly - exactly as we ordered it! Our waiter, Maxwell, was outstanding! This restaurant has been open only two weeks and for an extremely busy night they have made a great impression on us as customers. Keep up the good work! This is by far the best 110 Grill in the area. Every time I go, the customer service surpasses anything I've ever experienced (yes, even at some "five-star" restaurants). There's always a warm welcome and not to mention AMAZING staff members that make you feel like you can take your time, relax and truly enjoy the food. We've had Becca a wait on us a few times now and she never ceases to amaze me. Super friendly, tries hard to remember repeat visitors and doesn't make us feel rushed. She's always super energetic which in turn makes the experience awesome. The first time we had Becca was when she was training a new hire. I've been there before, it's super stressful, yet Becca handled it with grace. AMAZING job, Becca. Can't speak highly enough of you! read more

I didn't know what to expect from this chain-I think it definitely appeals to the "meet after work" crowd. If you have a tween, who has to order from the regular menu, selections will be limited. I thought the menu had few offerings to my liking. I had to search for a "safe" meal I would enjoy-so I settled for steak tips. They were delicious. Our waitress was great as we were seated at a far end of the restaurant-I worried our service would be poor-it was not-she was super. I had contemplated ordering soup and a sandwich (grilled cheese) as I wasn't terribly hungry, but they use goat cheese which not all possess a palate for -so that left me with ordering the tips (which did not disappoint). Another family member had taken their tweens and were disappointed there-I can see their issue, also the prices are on the higher side for a chain-I would prefer to support a private establishment with a more diverse menu. read more

Poor service. Mediocre food. Waitress vanishing. Visit was the date of this review. Party of four. We were sat at 6. Were not able to order anything until 6:20. No visit to table prior. Around 6:50, a different waitress told us there was a mix-up, and if we could just "remind us of what we had ordered again." Drinks empty on table. We did not receive our entrees until 7:30. We had been seated for an hour and a half, and had been visited by our waitress twice. No admission of the ball being dropped, and no apology for terrible service. Food quality upon arrival. Mediocre. Fish and chips served was no where near the value of a $16 price point. Breading soft, no crisp. Fries soggy. We are supposed to be thankful that beverages brought over, but not ordered, would not be charged? No thank you. Place may be good for a beer at the bar, but for dining, your money is better spent elsewhere. read more

Visited here on Saturday for dinner, my wife had been here once before and enjoyed her experience so we decided to go back.We were seated right away it was around 5:30 . Our waitress came over quickly and took our drink order , she came back with our drinks and we ordered the chicken wings for an appetizer and she took our dinner orders as well. When the wings came they were nice and hot and tasty also there was plenty of meat on them as well . As we enjoyed our wings I was looking around the place , had plenty of televisions a nice bar pretty nice atmosphere and more people were coming in for dinner. My wife and teenage son both got burgers and fries and I ordered the shrimp and clam linguini. They were both satisfied with their burgers and I took a couple fries they were good . My Shrimp and Clams came nice and hot and had a couple pieces of nice toasted garlic bread with it . My dinner was delicious and I enjoyed it (ate the whole thing) . My only issue was there were only 3 small butterflied shrimp with it , I expected a few more shrimp for the price of the meal . It's very difficult to find a good restaurant that takes gluten free seriously, but I am here to tell you that the 110 Grill in Berlin is just that restaurant. My wife and I were there for the first time last Tuesday and the experience, from the food to the wait staff (kudos to Marcos), was 5 star. We both had the Cucumber & Avocado Tuna which was perfectly cooked and presented. We also loved the Firecracker Shrimp Appetizer and the Gluten Free Chocolate Cake was the best we have had.
