Eggplant parm was very tasty and red sauce tasted fresh and well seasoned. My chicken marsala with creamy polenta was very disappointing. Instead of marsala forward it tasted of mushroom gravy, chicken dry with hard edges and polenta you could cut and chase chunks around the plate. Not a bit like polenta should be. Dessert was warm ricotta cake with gelato. Gelato was essential to this dessert as the lemon sauce was so intensely tart and sour it was near inedible without some buffering by the gelato. Value wise it would have been a fairly pricey meal by our standards even if the food was good. However price point is more palatable when the food is.

When we noticed other tables being taken care of more professionally, an example was when we asked for some EVOO for our bread and the server brings us an oil/vinegar rack used for salads.
