I've eaten here a few times and have pretty much settled on the kale salad as my favorite item. However, last night I clearly ended up with food poisoning. Within a few hours had terrible stomach pains, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. I called the next morning to alert the staff, and although they were very attentive, definitely didn't care to get my name or offer any adjustments. They said they would check expiration dates but that's not the point, usually food is contaminated. Can't say I will want to eat here again. read more

We were in town for a funeral and wanted some lunch before heading home. This restaurant was on our route, and we are so glad. We were welcomed immediately and asked about needing gluten free food. We were then seated and a friendly and knowledgeable young man came to the table and ascertained whether or not we had food allergies. We then ordered. My husband had the clam chowder and said it was delicious. I ordered the Cuban and fries. It was yummy and huge. If we are ever in the area again, we will certainly stop in. read more

First time here, stopped for lunch after a college visit to Siena. This was a great stop, the service was excellent (server was Trevor) and the food was equally as good. The Nashville Hot Chicken was excellent, right amount of heat, good pickles and the right size bread. The chicken is hand battered in the restaurant and was cooked perfectly. The other entree we received was Buffalo Mac n Cheese. This too was excellent with plenty of chicken and just the right amount of spice. They have a nice outdoor seating area, if that's what you are looking for nowadays. I don't know where my kids college experience will take us, but if it's Siena, we will definitely be back! read more

Food was very good. Service was awful. After requesting no ice in my drink, it came with more than the normal amount. When our food came after a long wait, we requested silverware. It never came. I ended up taking it from another table. We asked for ketsup, it was forgotten as well. All in all not a great experience. read more

I don't understand this restaurant. Server provided us an overview of the menu and introduction of the restaurant, describing it as having a "scratch kitchen" and underscoring that they could accommodate food allergies. We don't have any food allergies, HOWEVER: I ordered a salad and did not want the beets in the salad. They could not do that because the salad mix is prepackaged and all chopped together. OK, so not a scratch kitchen. I didn't think this type or restaurant would be but why are they going out of their way to say they are? My son ordered nachos and they were served with peanut butter sauce instead of cheese sauce. No joke. We sent them back and they did remove them from the bill given the mix up. Waiters came to table and refilled drinks almost obsessively, to include a chocolate milk, until we asked them to please stop. At one point we all had our drinks and a full back up drink on the table. The food we did get and eat was mediocre. Odd experience for big chain food. read more

Having had a good experience at Crossgates I had our family stop in Latham for dinner, it was very busy but we were sat quickly. Waitress was pretty attentive in the beginning but not so much towards the end. We were not given two sides that we ordered, but the manager intervened to get them out with priority. He also comped the sides. We ordered a burger, no cheese, but received a cheeseburger. Again, manager worked to get it out quickly, but it was very uneven service. I enjoyed the food, will chalk the mistakes up to them only being open a bit and having to work out the kinks. Will return as I enjoy their diverse menu. read more

Fist of all I would say our waitress was great and the manager was also great. When we arrived that asked if we wanted gluten free menus and we declined. I order chicken wings and fish and chips. My wife ordered onion strings and flat bread. When we got served the fish and onion rings had that odd bland/blond look and not the usual flavor to be expected. The waitress asked if everything tasted ok and I asked if this was all gluten free and she says yes that it id GF because they can't mixed GF food with good old fashioned gluten foods in the fryer. Than I asked why they asked if we wanted GF menus if we really don't have a choice. Wouldn't it be nice to get your order of fish and onion ring made the way it been done in tha past instead of having to eat it the way a small portion of the population wants it. She had the manager come over and that took it of our bill even after I told them thats not what I wanted. I guess the Karen in us came out and just miss the good old food from the past. read more

We had a horrid experience here the other night. One of our party made reservations for 6 and when we arrived the table wasn't ready. Then they assumed we'd want those high tops, which no one else was sitting at. Much later, we were sitting at a bad table in the middle of the restaurant. Whatever! The music played so loud we couldn't hear one another talk and the place was freezing cold. So cold that the 3 guys with us felt cold, and they never otherwise do. Next, we ordered and discovered they cater to gluten free eaters and figure everyone else can just eat that way too. Well, I've read that eating gluten free when you don't medically need to isn't good for you! I actually have a no salt and low potassium diet I medically need, leaving me with very few choices on the menu as they're actually a typical place offering junk food -- quite the opposite of what they advertise. So I ordered a turkey burger and settled for ciabatta bread with a 110 Calypso salad and oil and vinegar for dressing. The order came with Brussel sprouts which looked like they were soaked in something dark and awful so they made me the salad I ordered originally and it came back soaked in dressing (high potassium). Finally, I got another salad, with the dressing on the side! -- don't they have olive oil and vinegar to provide when ordered?? At that point, I just ate what I could plain. By the way, it was a lousy tasting salad. Meanwhile another of our party ordered a red wine and was served a white! They brought him a red wine when he pointed out their error. To "make up for all our trouble" the waitress offered us free dessert -- no discount or money off. We declined, not wanting to see what more they could mess up or sample poor tasting dessert. read more

My sisters and I made a trip to Albany yesterday for shopping, and stopped at 110 Grill for lunch for the first time. The restaurant was extremely clean, and the were managing seating between tables of diners perfectly, which made it comfortable to eat indoors and feel safe, and this isn't something I take lightly. All the service staff was very friendly, including our waiter, Dave (David?). I have to eat gluten-free because of health reasons, this is not a lifestyle choice for me. I love that A: they have an ENTIRE gluten-free menu; and B: it's displayed prominently as you come in, so someone like me knows right away. I've been eating gluten-free for about 10 years. This is the first and only time I've had a real, full, gluten-free menu, not just a little corner of the regular menu, or a few starred items. It may seem trivial, but it means a lot. Dave asked immediately if any of us had food allergies, and then took the time to explain that they are a from-scratch restaurant, which makes it easier for them to cater to special dietary needs. He explained the special care they take to avoid cross-contamination. Everything was done exactly as he said it would be. The food came up pretty quickly, and it was steaming hot! My non gluten-free sisters ordered a burger with sweet potato fries, and a lobster roll with onions strings. I had the chicken cordon bleu sandwich, and had a choice of the chicken fried with gluten-free breading, or grilled. I opted for fried because oh, my God it's been so long since I had a choice of anything but grilled, and I got the garlic mashed potatoes as my side. My sisters raved about their meals, and my lobster roll sister is fussy about a good lobster roll. My sandwich was wonderful. The breading was crispy (I could have cried with happiness) the portions quite generous, and the mashed potatoes are fantastic. At one point I was sitting there with the bowl of potatoes in one hand and eating them with my fork, and one sister gave me a look like, What the hell are you doing? I told her, Don't bug me, I'm into my potatoes right now! We were very happy, and we'll absolutely be back. One suggestion--NOT a complaint. If you don't eat gluten-free you don't know this. Gluten-free bread and rolls are made with a large proportion of rice flour, and rice absorbs moisture like crazy. The rolls or bread always have to be toasted or grilled to have a nice crust, not a slight tan, and they take longer to grill than wheat breads do. Grilling or toasting keeps the roll from soaking up the moisture from the food and disintegrating, which the bottom of my roll did. (This didn't stop me from finishing off that chicken with my fork, mind you!) And one favor to ask: could I have the ingredients and proportions of that fantastic breading used on the chicken? I'd like to be able to reproduce that at home. But believe you me, we'll be back, and we'll definitely recommend 110 Grill. Many thanks! read more

I'm so glad i came here after a weekend trip to Saratoga Springs on my way back to Long Island. Alessandra was our server and she was amazing! She was so helpful - i wasn't sure if i should get the Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese or the pulled pork Mac and cheese! She really helped me decide what to get! I'm sorry to say this was not a good experience. I had been here about two years ago and it was very different. Last night we went as a group of four and I ordered pulled pork. When the waiter brought it over, I had to ask if they gave me the correct plate because it looked like it was fried. After they told me that it was indeed pulled pork, I said I would try it. When I took the top of the bun off, what I saw definitely did not look like pulled pork. It was beyond extremely dry, it looked like it was about two days old, and it looked more chopped than pulled. Extremely unappetizing which is exactly what the store manager said about it. He offered to get me something else but honestly, I had lost my appetite by then. Maybe I just got them on a bad night, although one other person in our group also wasn't thrilled with their meal. read more

I've been to other 110 Grills and they've been great! But this one was not so much... I have Celiac Disease, and I ordered from the gluten free menu and so did my mom. We ordered a gluten free appetizer and my mom also ordered a gluten free meal. The appetizer came and I had a couple bites, and realized it wasn't gluten free. So I stopped eating it. We were going to ask the waitress, who was nowhere to be seen. (It took over 30 minutes just to get the appetizer). I guess someone else there noticed we were served a non-gluten free app, and the manager came over and told us. They ended up comping our entire meal. And the waitress came over and apologized. So that was great! But I've also been sick since we've gone. If you have celiac and go to this location, just be hyper vigilant. The service was also incredibly slow. They ended up also having to remake my moms meal, so my dad and I were finished with ours by the time hers came. The food was good, but the place definitely needs work. read more

Having gone to the Albany location which was very good we were not thrilled - even for pub food - how do you mess that up......they all need another month of training. Disappointed in mgmt. that allowed food to be served the way it was- Chili had a good amount of oil coating on top enough to fill a side plate. Flatbread had hardly any chicken, or any other toppings and a pool of hot sauce on it, my 100lb lab would have turned away from. Although mgmt. were very apologetic they need to be supervising the all staff. Dining area carpet could of been vacuumed! Very dirty- from other customers but was not cleaned in between. read more

SO!!! GOOD!!! You need the buffalo chicken flatbread in your life. The staff was super accommodating for the vegan we had with us and took extra good care to be aware of the allergies. A manager delivered all of the allergenic foods to ensure accuracy. Our server, Ken Ross, was great. Amazing experience all around.
