Coming to the 110 Grill tonight (10/7) was definitely a mistake. My husband and I arrived at 5:35pm and were greeted and sat at a booth per my request. About 5 minutes passed before our waiter, Phil came over. He asked if we had ever been there before/ if we had any allergies, I said that we had not been there before and my husband said that he has a shellfish allergy. My husband ordered a peach mule and I ordered a pomegranate pear martini. We each requested waters as well. About 7-10 minutes later, Phil returned with our alcoholic drinks, but no water. After dropping our alcoholic drinks off and no water, Phil disappeared. My husband caught the waiter while he was coming by to serve other tables and requested our waters, again. Phil took our orders as well- a short rib burger (special) for my husband with fries, and the 110 cucumber avocado tuna for me. Our drinks were okay, mine had gin in it which I didn't think paired well with the other flavors in the drink. My husband's peach mule was just okay. The food was not great. They were delivered by a manager and another food runner/server. The short rib and fries were not seasoned for my husband. There was no ketchup with the fries. I tried one fry and agreed they needed more salt and pepper. They were extremely bland. My husband thought the short rib was not seasoned as well. The cucumber avocado tuna was okay. Even with the sauce mixed in to the rice/tuna/cucumber/avocado it tasted bland. There was too much cucumber as well. During our meal, Phil never came around to ask how the food was or ask us if we wanted another drink. About 20-25 minutes before the end of our meal- we finally got waters, at the same time as another party that asked for them that had just been seated. Coincidence? I think not. I will not be returning. This is the worst service I've had at a restaurant in years (maybe ever). read more

Walked in to 3 people standing at booth at entrance.. not one person greeted my family. We waited about 3 mins with no words exchanged while the hostess shuffled menus. She then says follow me .. did not even ask hi how are you .. how many people for the table as one person was still outside. Our waiter Phil was good . Fish tacos were okay. Great good and good service. We had appetizers, drinks, main courses and desserts. We tried it all. The spinach dip appetizer was amazing as was the peanut butter cascade dessert. We also got fried pickles, drinks, salmon, shrimp scampi and the oreo brownie sundae. All delicious also. Our server, Victoria, was great and very attentive. We went Saturday night and everyone was spaced out and safety precautions taken. Would recommend and go again! Only reason its 4 instead of 5 stars was that we sat for awhile without anyone coming over and it cost us $160 to eat which is a bit much in my opinion! read more

110 Grill is a great place for dates, business, lunch, or dinner-literally for any occasion. The staff there are all super friendly whether that's the host, server, or bartender. I've been there a hand full of times already for date nights, double dates, and even with my family. I try to always try something new every time, but I have a couple go to's when I'm there that I never seem to switch up. The chicken nachos are amazing. Although I would suggest sharing this with the table as it is pretty big and filling. The buffalo wings are great too to share.. I highly suggest their pulled pork Mac and cheese!!! I choose a medium well cooked 'Cure Burger' for the first try. It is not bad, not goes to a Wow. The highlight is the egg inside. Fries come with the burger, it is slender but quite crispy. Btw, they serve a little hot bread with butter as pre-starter. Environment is quite pretty. Service is good, and the waitress is kind and patient. It is absolutely a good place for friends hanging out, couples dating or families gathering around. I came around 2pm on Monday. There were only three tables being seated. Drinks are a little overpriced and service is slow. We were hoping to grab some drinks and appetizers at the bar. Two couples were seated at the bar after us and both couples had their food order taken before us. I think you have to regulars here to get good service. To be fair, the bar is fairly big and the bartender was working solo. We paid for our drinks and left (hungry). 2 mixed drinks and 1 beer came to almost $40 after tax. We still left a 20% tip but I don't think we will be back anytime soon. We made it pretty clear we wanted to order appetizers. Not the first time we've gotten mediocre service at this place. the food took almost 40 minutes to arrive and it took the waitress about 30 min to realize we dint get our food and the section se were sat at was carpet as the tables were leaving they did not bother to clean the floors which had food crayons and a straws and other things. they even sat other people at those tables while the floors were dirty. read more

We've been here three times since the Coronapocalypse has "slowed down"; it was in fact our first foray into public dining since the panic. Pretty good-- ok wine selection, good appetizers. We had a trainee and everything went smoothly. Second time-- oooof! Place was fairly busy for a Saturday, but we were early; shouldn't've had to wait soooo long between drinks/courses. My shrimp was, bluntly, UNseasoned, bland, waaah. It kinda turned me off of the place. But! K convinced me to try again (it's less than 10 minutes away, after all). Third time was the charm, and everything was exactly as you'd expect an upscale pub to be. I'm certain that the second visit was a culinary anomaly, and 110 is on our short list of go tos. read more

UPDATE 7/5/2019: The restaurant reached out to me as a result of this review and sent me a $75 gift card along with their apology. Will update after use. Went to the Saugus location for the first time for an early dinner yesterday. Made a 4 pm reservation via Open Table and indicated it was a birthday celebration and wanted the flourless chocolate cake brought out for my friend's birthday dessert and described her for her surprise. Food was decent but that is it. Service was deplorable. Entered the restaurant and no one was at the hostess desk. Waited at least five minutes before an unkempt waitress dressed in jeans arrived to assist and and seat us. Waited at least 15 minutes before our waiter, John, came over and apologized for the wait indicating he had too many tables in another room. Requested water with lemon and to place our order. He took our order and asked if I wanted bread/butter. I said yes. It was at least another 15 minutes or more before our water arrived without the lemon. Never got the bread either. Then about 15 minutes later, my entree arrived. After waiting another ten minutes, I had to ask where my friend's entree was. They apologized and said they thought we were sharing mine! Meanwhile my friend indicated her food allergies and had requested her entree be tweaked accordingly so what was that about? Another apology and her entree was brought out. We finished our entries and sat with our empty, dirty dishes in front of us for at least another 15 minutes when John walked by and said he would be with us shortly. Another 10 minutes before he came back and asked if we wanted dessert. We ordered cappuccinos and dessert -- my friend ordered the flourless chocolate cake I had requested for her. Fifteen minutes later our desserts were brought out without a birthday candle or any mention of her birthday! My dessert was in a jar yet I was given a huge spoon which did not fit! Had to wait and ask for an appropriate spoon. Then about another 15 minutes later, John came out with our cappuccinos and wished my friend a Happy Birthday saying he did not realize we already got our desserts. What?! Another apology. All we got were numerous apologies for all their mistakes and no offer to even comp our cappuccinos! It gets worse.....i went to the ladies restroom, and they were out of toilet paper and one toilet was covered with feces. As we left, I told the hostess off to the side which she appreciated. This place is amateur hour in my opinion. It certainly does not live up to their prices or our expectations. Too many other places around to experience. read more

I have been to several 110 Grill locations over the last few years, however, this experience was by far the worst. We waited 15 minutes after being seated for someone to acknowledge our existence. Every time our waiter, Jhonny, left our table it was 15 minutes before he came back. Most of the meal, I did not have a drink. We wanted more bread since our food was taking so long and never could find him to ask. I asked for the vegetable stir fry, which should have been considered soup with the amount of broth that it came swimming in. It was just a terrible experience from start to finish. read more

Great location at the old Hilltop . Staff is friendly and the menu is quite large. We started with drinks and the dinner rolls. The sangria and Nor'Easter were very good and it seems as though they know their mixed drinks. Dinner was pulled pork mac and cheese for me, and a demi glaze steak for the misses. The meals were very filling but were just a tiny bit lacking with the flavor. Dont get me wrong the food was good, but at a $18 and $27 price mark, the taste didnt justify the price. I will add that all of their food is made in house so I will respect that they were able to put together such a nicely varied menu. As for the atmosphere, it's very chainy, like you feel like you're at a chili's or an Appleby's. Maybe my expectations were just a little misguided. read more

Visited on a Friday Night and made a reservation on Open Table for 7:00 pm. We arrived around 6:50, got a drink at the bar- couldn't sit, had to stand. It was quite crowded. Bar staff was fine, nothing overly friendly - but took our order then went on to 3 other customers before getting us our cider and soda. We were seated right next to the kitchen, fun view. Huge booth for the 2 of us. The side plates at our table were dirty- so we asked for new ones, and our waiter was very casual about it. The menu has quite a variety- seafood, beef, salad, soups, etc. We ordered the specials, a corn risotto with steak tips and then a cute burger. The corn risotto was perfectly cooked, it was a very large serving so we had plenty to bring home. The cure burger was juicy, delicious and had a perfect runny egg on top. Only knocked one star because the service was a little underwhelming. But food was pretty good and seating was nice. Parking was a difficult, had to circle the lot a couple times. Mediocre at best, service is always great but the food runs right through me, is very bland and always seems mismatched.

Chef Plate - Not what we expected, was anticipating a charcuterie plate, but it was a bit more like antipasto (the artichoke salad in the middle was prominent). Did appreciate the variety (lots of options), but was expecting a bit more pepperoni (four slices on a toothpick-spear). Wasn't sure what to do with the crumbled blue cheese (how are you supposed to eat a pile of it?), and the nut crusted goat cheese wasn't as soft as I thought it'd be. More than enough hummus, very filling, decent price. Ribeye - I enjoyed both the sides (brussel sprouts and broccoli). The ribeye itself was mediocre, I felt like it was a steak I could have gotten from Longhorn steakhouse. I ordered the steak medium, it was cooked nicely, but wasn't hot by the time it was served (warm at best). It may be personal preference, but I like a hot steak, with good marbling/flavor. I ordered the mushroom topper, and they were pretty flavorless. Overall I was disappointed with the dish. Beyond Burger - Good burger, wouldn't know that it wasn't meat! There was a mix up on one of the sides, and it took 10+ minutes for the correct side to be dropped off. Prickly Pear non-alcoholic - Tasty drink, reasonably priced. As it was a non-alcoholic drink, apparently there were some miscommunications at/with the bar, and we had to ask for the drink a few times. Peanut Butter Cascade - it was described as peanut butter cup ice cream, but looked/tasted like vanilla. Dessert was fine, probably wouldn't order again. Allergy - I will give them props for going above and beyond regarding awareness of allergies and consideration there-of. If you tell the waiter you have an allergy, every dish for that person will be handled by a manager. That did lead to some delays, staggered delivery of food. For instance, it took 10-15 minutes for the dessert to be dropped off after ordering. Our waiter passed by us a half-dozen times in that span, and when we inquired, he said our dessert needed to be dropped off by the manager. We mentioned a shellfish allergy when the waiter asked when seated, if there's concern about cross-contamination between shellfish and an ice-cream dessert, I'm a bit concerned. But, having plenty of restaurants being fully unaware/inconsiderate of severe allergies, I did appreciate their attention to detail on this. Other notes: Plenty of options on the menu. The aesthetic of the place was nice, large windows, polished brass. The acoustics were pretty bad however, with noise carrying excessively (there was a group of inebriated guests not far away, and their drunken cackling was accentuated by acoustics). We were pretty happy with our visit to 110 Grill. My daughter had the chicken tenders with fries and cucumbers. I had a daily special, Sausage and mushroom tortellini in Pomodoro Sauce, which I enjoyed. My dad had a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup. He didn't realize it had goat cheese on it, which has a very sharp and distinct flavor. They promptly remade the sandwich without the goat cheese, and he enjoyed it after that. My mother had a steak with mashed potatoes and mushrooms. The food was good, the service was friendly and attentive. I suggest reservations, as they were busy. read more

My fiance and I went for an early dinner. There was o my o e couple inside the restaurant and no one outside. The waitress we had Alan was extremely slow. When we did receive our food it was not worth the wait. My swordfish was very dry and tasteless. His $50 ribeye was extremely fatty and very tough. We were there for an hour and half most of which was waiting for the food, the waitress to bring boxes, we had to ask for a third box because the food didn't fit in the small containers they provide, and a pen to sign the bill. Waiting for the third container was another 20 minutes. It took us less than 5 minutes to eat and the rest of the time waiting on the waitress. The sweet potato fries and onion rings were good. Unsweetened ice tea and no sweeteners to add. The other couple waited for desert while we ate the meal by the time they got their desert they had no utensils to eat it with. Came out to enjoy a late holiday lunch with friends, and we chose 110 Grill in part because one of our party has a seafood/shellfish allergy. Very impressed that not only was it the first thing they asked us, but even the food runner reconfirmed that there was an allergy as they delivered food. Fried pickles were good, but the order was small for the price. I had the kale brussels salad, substituting Caesar dressing, and it was excellent--added chicken which was tasty and well cooked. I had the pearberry cocktail and a cranberry margarita; both were fine but if I had it to do over I'd stick with beer, as they had good local IPA selections on draft and beer prices were much better than cocktails. Food was okay, got order wrong and didn't take it off the bill. Did not have them replace it, everyone at our table would have been done before I got it. Was a holiday, was slow! The server was amazing wish she worked somewhere else, she was very pleasant and attentive. The reservation process had issues, they deleted our reservation, didn't offer to let us rebook she had to call back and speak with a manager who is the person she originally booked with. Made excuses but they never called to confirm so unsure how or why it was deleted. When we got there, they had three tables in the whole place booked. Customer service is lacking here by the people answering the phones and management, who stood around staring in the kitchen which clearly made the cooks slow down and confused. We sent an email was told they would send us a gift card, would use at a different location. Spent good money here for the wrong order and food was okay. So it's the least they could do, never received it. Won't go back, Danversport has a much better holiday brunch, never had an issue but I'm sure their customer service isn't lacking like this place. I usually order the chicken caprese but the last few times the chicken has been overcooked to the point where I could hardly cut it with a knife. The last time there was only a sliver of cheese on it. Decided to try the fish tacos instead of my go-to meal. What a disappointment. I have received more food on my plate at restaurants for appetizers than what was placed in front of me. Three TINY tacos. The cajun seasoning ruined the fish. Rice was bland. My friend ordered the pulled pork sandwich. The fries were cold. Had to ask for hot fries. Feeling nauseous about 30 minutes after leaving the place. Think it was the awful cajun seasoning. We went tonight. It was absolutely incredible. Shannon is the best. They are SOOOO accommodating with allergies. My mom has a few and we aren't an easy table. She was attentive and funny. She was really just great. The food was amazing. Yes, it's expensive. But my husband and son (8year old) cleared their plate. We got an app and my mom got the French onion soup. She said it was super good. I HIGHLY recommend the chicken piccata gnocchi. Like heaven. I can't wait to go try the roasted chicken. I'm sad I didn't see the pears. I would have chosen that. The worst service!!! Had lunch with my husband, daughter and granddaughter today. Seated right away, but took the waitress 20 minutes to bring drinks! we ordered right after we got our drinks! Within 30 minutes we got our food! she came by five minutes later to see if everything was ok, then we did not see here for 30 minutes also the table behind was not cleaned the whole time we were there! I asked someone going out to the patio to get our waitress as I needed another coke and I could see the waitress sitting outside talking to someone! Wow this place is incredible First off the vibe is very cozy and relaxing pleanty of booth seating all around much more of a restaurant feel than a bar. The staff were very friendly and professional i never ever felt like a bother even when i asked for 4 changes to my order. The manager came over and was very kind and welcoming. Tons of free parking! Now to the food! Well i went 3 times in one week ! The food js a serious step up from anything on route 1. I got the steak and cheese and wow i was blown away also got the burger and the shrimp i couldn't have been happier! My friend who is gluten free said it was the best gluten free food he has ever had and the selection and price were amazing! This will be my new go to spot on the north shore If you have clients friends or just want a nice meal out this is the spot!! read more

Skimpy, Skimpy, Skimpy! I came here with a few of my girlfriends for drinks and Apps. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. The bar has good vibes so it was a nice place to meet up. However, we ordered BBQ chicken nachos and were not impressed. Very skimpy on the toppings! 100% was not enough for the 4 of us. It looked like they measured out 1/4 cup of each topping onto the chips. A turn off for me. We had the nachos and one other App and felt like we hadn't eaten anything at all. Service was OKAY... waitress was nice, host seemed like he was lost and didn't know what to do when my group asked to move from the bar to a table. All in all, I am not sure if I will be back. We've been here a few times and each time we are impressed with how good the food is, how responsive the service is. It's never exactly the same, which I love. Everything is made from scratch and different people prepare the same dish slightly differently. Even dishes that are simple are outstanding. Ive noticed that they don't add as much salt as other restaurants and it's a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend and we go out of our way to stop here when we are taking the mass pike. Be careful not to fill up on the bread and garlic butter. It's very tempting. read more
