I've eaten here in the past and it was reasonably good for the price, specifically the Tuna Avocado and Chicken Pesto. I just discarded the rest of my Ribeye it was so terrible. I asked for medium and it came out medium well soaked in juice. Even with all the juice/butter you could taste how dry the meat was. Just a horrible quality of meat and terribly cooked to boot. Almost as bad as my grammar right now. For $34 I expected a far better experience but I ended up getting a bad night at the 99. I could've bought two ribeyes, brined them, and grilled them myself with a superior result for $34. Don't go there for steak. read more

110 Grill is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. My husband and I have been here a few times and each time has been a very good experience. The atmosphere is nice and modern, with plenty of room and even an outdoor area. Granted, you're looking at busy Hwy 1 but it's a nice patio with a fire pit. The first time I was there I ordered the 110 Chicken Caprese which is a nicely cooked piece of lightly friend chicken topped with pesto, cheese, and tomatoes with a balsamic drizzle. Yum! They do a great job with it and it's nice and filling - also served with mixed greens. The next time I ordered a wedge salad with steak tips. This was VERY good. The wedge is huge but there are enough toppings and dressing that thankfully you don't feel like a rabbit just gnawing on lettuce. The steak tips are marinated in something delicious and cooked to perfection. It's a great portion so you can pig out but since it's a salad you don't feel guilty. 1 star taken away because no free refills on iced tea. Iced tea? I get if we're drinking a bottle of soda but iced tea? Anyway I'm not sure it's enough of a grip to keep me away, just something to keep in mind for next time. read more

Went for dinner last night. This is the second time trying them. The first time was a week or two after they opened. The first time I gave them a little slack because of being new but the floors were dirty, with food,, straw wrappers, and misc paper. The food I thought was ok but over priced, service wasn't the best either but figured they were new and all. This visit, waited 3 or 4 minutes for the hostess to come up to the podium to seat us. (Understood later why it took her so long, she was also bussing tables, so not her fault). After being seated we waited a good 10 minutes for someone to realize we were there and sent the waitress over to get our order. While waiting I noticed that the floors were still trashed the same way as my first visit, food, and wrappers etc. The wait for the food was ok, but the food itself wasn't all that good. It just tasted like salt. I got the meatloaf which had a presentation of being on top of broccoli, on top of mashed potatoes, and a huge mess of onion strings. I had to disassemble it to even eat it. It wasn't necessary. Overall, I feel I have gave them two shots, and they failed both time. Never going back. read more

Excellent service and very fresh food. I was even concerned, being newly diagnosed Celiac, I needed gluten free and they have an amazing menu just for those of us with these special needs. Huge disappointment. Was expecting so much more heard great things about this place maybe my expectations were too high but either way they weren't close to being met. I got takeout it was very disorganized to say the least but I'll give them a mulligan since it was open only very short time maybe few weeks if that at time of my visit. But what doesn't get mulligan was food. I got the Steak bad cheese my wife got the Steak Tips dinner. Neither meal were great neither was terrible but definitely not great and definitely below average. So wanted to like this place. The interior was nice it was wide open. I would be inclined to give place another try maybe this time eating in and ordering something different and see what happens but it would definitely have to be on a night I had no other options cause I really was disappointed and Underwhelmed that's for sure read more

The waitress was super nice and asked before hand it there was any allergies to be aware of, once I said gluten she explained the meals prep and how the manager will bring out the food. Visiting family in Boston and we chose the 110 Grill in Saugus to meet up for dinner. They were able to accommodate a reservation of 16 people comfortably. Service and food was excellent!! Most of us had the steak tip dinner with sides and the portions were great and the food was delicious. We are a loud Italian family and they allowed us to sit at table as long and we liked and staff was attentive throughout the entire meal. I will definitely be back. They also have outdoor seating with a fire pit for those chilly nights. Unfortunately the view looks out over the passing cars on Route 1, typical for dining on the highway strip. We started with delicious Dragon-tini cocktails. Then we ordered the Margherita Pizza and 110 Cucumber Avocado Tuna with Jasmine Rice. Both were very good. Well first let me start off by saying that this was a fantastic addition to an already Restaurant packed route 1 in Saugus. So with plenty of competition this place really stands out. Ive literally never had a bad meal here and ive gone dozens of times because i live really close. They do a pulled chicken over nachos for an appetizer and i get what youre thinking trust me because i thought the same. Nachos as an app.. bleh. But please trust me when i tell you to get the nachos to start. Another meal that really stood out to me was the short rib rosotto. I frequently visit the 110 Grill in Saugus, MA. but this visit a couple of weeks ago was the best for service and food. I wasn't too happy about the new menu because I always ordered certain items when I return. I was sad to see the Mozzarella sticks and the regular flat bread pizza eliminated on the menu. I am not a fan of cauliflower but ordered the pizza anyway to try it. Did not care for it as, all I could taste was cauliflower and not the tomatoes, basil and cheese. I was told that Corporate removed these items because of sale problems in other parts of the country which, I do not agree on. If they don't sell there, it doesn't mean that they will not sell other places. This is a perfect example of their decision. I would like those items back. I was also told that other customers have had the same complaint as min. Our waitress, Madison was not only friendly but, her knowledge of the menu. Jake, the cook came over to our table and apologized for the menu change and Omar, the manager came over as well. They were very sympathetic and were very professional. Kudos to the staff. I went here at 7 pm on Fathers day. We made reservations online but when we arrived we still had to wait about 20 min for our table to be ready which is not great. The booth and the rest of the restaurant was clean and nice looking. I ordered crab rangoon dip for the appetizer, fish n chips, and brownie sundae for dessert. The dip was the best tasting part of the meal. The brownie in the sundae was disgusting, tasted like the cheap ones wrapped in cellophane you an buy at a convenience store for $0.50. We also ordered some key lime pie dessert which also did not go over well with everyone. The fish and Chips were basic and fine. My sister ordered the gnocchi but it was very citrus-y and didn't really like it. My dad ordered the steak which he really enjoyed. I am a regular diner of the woburn restaurant and have been excited to dine now that 110 is open. Although I can not guarantee that I will never be back in the distant future, I assure you that I will NOT be back during the corona outbreak. Not only did the kitchen staff have their masks below their chin, but I witnessed a cook taste something on her finger and continue working without gloves. The seating within the indoor restaurant was NOT 6 feet apart, patrons were walking to the bathroom without masks, there were not disposable menus, and the waiters were not wearing gloves. I have been out to eat with friends before and did not have ONE of these complaints. We stayed for hours and spent a lot of money at these establishments. As former waitress, current school teacher and business owner, I have never once complained before because I understand stuff happens, however I will not be returning during what is still a pandemic and will be VERY VOCAL to friends, family, customers and anyone I can warn about how careless and irresponsible you have been with your safety measures at your restaurant. read more

I've been to Massachusetts once. And I don't k ow when I will be back. But I am glad we stopped with our family here on our one night stay before heading to Portland for the week. Today started off at 3:30 am CST with our flight from MSP to Boston, with a 4 and 1 yr old it was an interesting trip. We found our hotel wasn't as close to the airport as we thought and it was about 30 mins away with traffic. So our hotel recommend 110 Grill to us. It's within walking distance, sold. Our kids are crabby and so are we. We walk the short walk here and find this absolute gem of a restaurant, which strives to accommodate those that suffer from different allergies and make everything from scratch. We don't suffer from food allergies but it's cool to see places do this. I've been judging restaurants by their Cubans lately, and this sandwich was no slouch. I was quite impressed, very flavorful and delicious. My wife had the fish tacos and she stated that they were "Loaded and delicious" the kids ordered a cheeseburger, and there were no complaints. Our waitress, Shannon, was super accommodating and attentive. Even brought out some dinner rolls with garlic butter to keep the kiddos from going absolutely insane. Came here for a later dinner after stomping around Gloucester for the day. Our server Colleen was great, very friendly and attentive and made sure we felt taken care of. The food was pretty good. It was a level above what I would expect from a chain like 99 or a Applebee's. Prices were fair for what they serve and we left satisfied and with some leftovers. The Crab Rangoon dip was very good and served with homemade potato chips seasoned with Old Bay along with Naan bread triangles that I preferred to dip as they were a delicious combo. My burger was cooked perfectly and the onion strings that accompanied it were good as well. Think very thin onion rings, nice and crisp. My better half had the Cuban and was pleased with the incorporated flavors that were layered within. I took a bite and must say it was pretty good. The pork was tender and the pickles and cheese came through with just enough flavor to compliment the sandwich. The fries were crispy as well and the sauce in the sandwich was well thought out. So my family and I had a tough day after losing a loved one and needed to have a good sit down dinner to take it all in. We got to the 110 grill walked in and were greeted by a lovely young lady who was happy to seat us at a comfortable booth. The server Samantha greeted us within 2 min with a smile and began to explain The Who what and where's of what the 110 grill was all about, ( scratch kitchen, allergy concerns ect ) she was able to grab an initial drink order quickly and efficiently ) Upon return she was able to switch out some soiled silverware ( she did it with a sense of humor and was totally apologetic even though there was no way for her to know it was soiled until we unwrapped the roll up ) This whole time we noticed she had a lot of tables and the manager was extremely helpful in running her food and resetting tables ( great teamwork ) The food was amazing. We got the spicy shrimp app to start and were impressed at the flavor and size of the dish. ( great value ) When our entrees came ( two steak tip plates a salmon and short rib tacos ) all the food was cooked perfectly and portion size was extremely generous ! We had two desserts to end the night and they were equally as good. Overall we were very impressed with the service, teamwork, and quality of food here and will be going back. Well, Went to dine here Last night (Saturday) and when we arrived we were told we had a 1 hour 15 minute wait to seat our party of 4. We enjoyed the bar and the wonderful cocktail options while waiting. Once 1 hour and 15 minutes were passed we notified the hostess that we still had not received a text that our table was ready. She stated that reservations keep arriving and was the reason we had not yet been seated. About every 10 minutes we checked in. They knew we were gradually growing impatient and really tried to avoid eye or verbal contact. At 1 hour and 55 minutes of waiting we began to complain and about 10 minutes later we were seated. 2 hours and 5 minutes is pretty long to wait when a verbal of 1 hr 15 minutes was stated. We may have decided to dine elsewhere had we know the actual wait time. When we were seated we were beyond happy with our waitress Jessica who did a great job of making us feel like valued customers. Her recommendations were fantastic and ultimately the food was great. This could have easily been a 4 or 5 star evening. But due to the impersonal delay at the hostess station it really was a 2 overall and because of the service we received once seated a 3.5 was called for so a 3 it is. The general manager, Rainey, was great- both were very attentive and the GM checked in with our table to make sure all is going well. Took a while for this "chain" to make its way to the North Shore, and the wait was worth it! Not only do you get to see the glow of the infamous Hilltop tree, a cultural and regional icon in its glory, you also get to enjoy a scratch kitchen with great food and a cozy atmosphere...parking was easy as was access off of Route one. The hostess was pleasent and attempted to seat u in the bar area at a 2 top that was much too close to the other table. We asked for a different place to sit. She was polite and sat us elsewhere also in the bar area. The server was also pleasent but forgot to bring my husbands soup. The food was very good. Hubby said the best burger he has had in a while. We were ready to pay the bill and leave. I went to the restroom and when I returned the hostess had sat a party of four at a table that was so close to ours I had to shimmy between my chair and the chair of the man at the next table. I guess You haven't heard of covid and 6 feet between tables. I reached out to the manager by email as soon as u got into the car . Two days later I have not recieved an email response. They spent more time hanging out at their cash register than speaking to their customers. Look, you don't need to be my pal. This was our second visit to 110. It was my husband's birthday so we made reservations for four people. We were seated promptly in a booth as I had requested when making my reservation. However, I was a bit disappointed that the waiter didn't acknowledge my husband's birthday which I also noted when making my reservation. I wasn't looking for a freebie, just a simple acknowledgment of our celebration. That was likely an error from the hostess not communicating that info to our server, so I wasn't upset with the server. Anyyyyyway... our server was SUPER friendly and even engaged my children. But his service was incredibly slow. I couldn't tell if he was given a section size that he couldn't adequately manage or if he needs retraining regarding proper sequence of service. For example, it took forever to receive our cocktails and we were never asked if we wanted another one. It also took too long to get the drink/app/main orders in because each time he came to our table he had to leave us for another table instead of taking our order. He totally has potential to be great, but he needs some fine-tuning. Food was pretty good this time around. I had fish and chips. I thought it was a hearty portion for the price but it was too bland for my liking. My husband got the chicken piccata gnochi and he was in love. I don't think he left anything on the plate! As soon as you walk in the door they ask you if you want a gluten free menu. They make sure if anyone has any in party has a food allergy. As an appetizer we had the Firecraker shrimp. Decent size tempura shrimp coated in a sweet chili sauce. Had the steak and cheese with caramelized onions. The 110 Cuban was so good and cheesy. It felt like I was in little Havana eating a homemade Cuban. Our server Jhonny was very delightful recommended to the raspberry sangria and the blue colada. Been wanting to try and love a 110 Grill for a long time and finally found time recently at the Saugus location. Unfortunately it was a very far from great experience. Sat at the bar for dinner and immediately realized the bar set up is not good. If you're not one one side or the other you have no view of only 2 tv's to watch. This is a huge overlook on their part. For dinner I ordered the rib-eye and it was quite delicious. Came with a choice of 2 sides and chose the garlic mashed and broccoli. The potatoes were good but the serving size was tiny. Broccoli was tasty as well but very dry with no butter or oil accompaniment. Lastly the service...the male bartender was quite attentive and helpful but his female coworker was not good. At one point while sitting next to some other patrons she came around asking them to settle up because it was shift change. More than a few people were caught off-guard by this request and to top it off she had an attitude about it. To me that's inexcusable policy if that's what it is. Bill came to $69.00 The food was tasty. The server mentioned the "scratch kitchen" in their welcome. The signature burger and chicken was solid and the rings were fresh. It appeared that they have a couple of efficient servers. We did not have a good one. Our server and several other servers looked like they just rolled out of bed and went to work. I'm not that picky on this subject so just mentioning it means its bad. Uniforms (black) didn't look clean and it felt like a sloppy look and that translated to the service too. Not friendly just transactional. To be fair, the server handling the table a few down from us was attentive and looked like she cared about how she dressed and presented and was always smiling. The design of the restaurant is a bit chopped up. The booth we were sitting in was broken. The back of the booth almost fell over when one person leaned back in it. It was located in the room behind the host stand. The bar has a display above it that's not functional. The TV's are in odd locations and they were playing HGTV Fixer Upper on a Sunday. The music branding was great in the bathroom but you could barely hear it in the restaurant. Communal tables were pushed close to the private room. Restaurant feels like a bunch of private rooms. I'm sure that's good for private parties but not for a good restaurant feel. We went at lunch and the lighting was off. It's like they didn't put much thought into the lighting or the odd artwork. The food is good. The pricing is just ok. The decor and the service need some work. read more

I spend over 200 dollars last weekend for my mother in laws birthday and it was her first time there. Was extremely excited for this because I've come on a few occasions and we had a good experience. yet the service this time was pretty un satisfying took very long time too get drinks. There were 4 of us and each meal came out 5 to 10 minutes apart from eachother. Let me mind you it wasn't busy at all.. We all got deserts and the apple crisp was cold and there was no crumble just dry oatmeal. The lemon sorbe was melted. My pasta was delicious and but each person in the party had something they were not happy with. I did give the waitress 40 dollar tip I felt bad maybe my mother in law was a bit overwhelming.
