Extremely Disappointing Experience I would strongly encourage anyone considering this salon to do their research before supporting this business. My experience and what I personally witnessed regarding the treatment of employees was extremely disturbing and disappointing. The way employees were allegedly treated, including concerns about prolonged unpaid wages, is completely unacceptable. Employees deserve to be paid for their work and treated with basic respect and dignity. Mimi, who operated the salon on Dairy Ashford and Westheimer, should take a serious look at how she conducts business and how she treats the people who work for her. Businesses are built on the people who show up and work hard every day, and they deserve better. Please do better. read more

I got a gel pedicure for $45 but the service received does not represent the offer. The manicurist was nice but she did not do the usual feet massage and the pedicure chair is broken, its massaging function did not work. When I was in the wax room with my shirt off, another employee opened the door, saw me and still didn't close the door fully. There was a man employee somewhere in the salon was I was really uncomfortable about that too. Very disrespectful of customers' needs. read more

Update to my post from 7 yrs ago: My mom & I have been coming here for 20+ years and unfortunately today will be the LAST time we step foot in this establishment. I advise y'all to do the same. My mom went to get her nails done & she did not like the two color options they put on her (one being a color the nail tech pushed her to put on). My mom didn't like the color and both the nail tech and another nail tech started yelling & berating my mom all because she asked to change the color. Yelling at her that it's a lot of work. My mom finished her services in tears... my mom is not a rude person & has never spoken up about anything, so it's a shame they treated her the way they did. I guess they don't really know what customer service is or how to treat customers. We will no longer be returning here. read more

I decided to try this place out after seeing such beautiful sets done by Brian but when I called to schedule an appointment I discovered that the salon is under new management and that he no longer works there. I decided to put my faith in it and try them out anyways and that was a huge mistake. While the salon was incredibly friendly, I asked Mimi to shape my nails square and also thin. I told her I didn't want thick and bulky looking nails but that's exactly how they came out. It's been 2 weeks since I got them done and after 1 week, they were already lifting. I think it's also good to add that I brought a friend with me and 2 of her nails came off after 3 days. We reached out to the salon and were able to get a partial refund. I do not recommend this salon or Mimi to do your nails as she was incredibly rude when we came to get our money back. I gave it two stars instead of one because the price for my full set was rather cheap compared to other places ($35) and they also give you a rewards card when you check out. read more

I always go to this salon they have best nail tec I believe but today my experience was worst. The manager walked in and started fighting with pedicure lady in their native language and it went on for 2 hours even though they had customers sitting there. I went in at 1.30 got out at 3.30 for 2 whole hours they were fighting and arguing so loud.. i am coming back home with a headache, at one point i even told my nail tex can they please lower their voices and they stopped for 5 minutes right after that they started again. First, the guy starts filing my nails to take off my dip and does it a bit hard which gets hot and burns a bit. Then I said I wanted dip, the guy starts to apply acrylic. I tell him I don't want acrylic I want dip. He gets a upset which gets awkward. When he's done, I get a design which the lady did a good job on. The downside is that my nails aren't smooth. The guy didn't file them too good so you can feel the unevenness. Then to top it off, they charge 3% if you use a debit/credit card. Definitely will not be coming back. read more

I have been coming here for 2 plus years and I love Christine!! She's the best at acrylic nails and pedicure! It's pretty cheap here. I would say about $5-7 cheaper than lots of places. A shellac pedicure is $30 and when I don't get acrylic nails, I get my cuticles trimmed($5) A regular manicure is $12!! My girlfriend loved this place! She's pregnant so her nails grow so fast! She said she loves that is so cheap for a great job! I believe a regular pedicure is $18. They REALLY take their time in pedicures ensuring their quality so be prepared to spend a little extra time here. I think that's the only thing they need to work on. I think the other lady is Annie? Or Anne. She's good as well. I believe the shellac pedicure comes with a paraffin wax. It feels soooo warm and amazing. It can be a bit too warm, so let them know if you're sensitive. They provide water, sodas, a wine for occasions. Overall great service for a great price! You guys have a permanent customer!! Love you Christine!! read more

I come from Rosenberg because they treat me so good 25$ pedi with color plus massage chair, plus hot towel, paraffin wax on feet, pineapple sugar scrub on legs, hot stones on feet and legs they don't do all those extras in Rosenberg so this is best deal they even do waxing and massages !! Updated review with the new management: I am so glad that 90 nail spa is under new management! Brian is a great manager, because he actually engages with his customers who write reviews on Yelp. Helen did my shellac manicure. She was very thorough and precise. You can tell she takes great care in her work. I also got a classic pedicure (I did not get the nail techs name, but she did a great job. She was an older Asian lady, very nice.) All in all, I enjoyed my experience today at 90 nail spa. I live nearby, and this place will definitely be my "go-to" nail salon for as long as I live in the sugar land area. They do a great job on nails, and they also ask if you want a drink (water). Some places don't bother asking, but they do! And I think for being in sugar land, you can't beat the fair price! I'm happy to say that I am now a loyal customer of 90 nail spa after them being under new management. They're awesome! read more

DONT GET YOUR EYEBROWS DONE HERE. I specifically told the lady I liked to keep my thicker, there was nothing left of my eyebrows when I left that place, and they were so uneven and misshapen I couldn't even fix it with a pencil, I was so upset they did a terrible job. Never going back. read more

I've been here pretty often and Christine does my nails wonderfully. I usually get my manicure done by her- either a regular manicure or a gel mani. I'm a picky person and since I want my nails to be perfect, she pays attention to all of my suggestions patiently. This shop under new management. I wasn't informed that the rates were changed until the pedicure was finished. Foot wax and hot stones had bee included with a basic pedicure....now $5 more for each. Not a huge deal breaker, but I would have liked to know sooner than at the end. My gal dug around my big toe like she was digging for gold. So much so that my cuticle bled. She stuck my foot in the water. I had to ask for treatment. It's still tender today. I won't be going back. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is complete garbage. I went in 2 other people for mani/pedis. What a disaster. The regular manicure started coming off over the entire nail, one nail at a time by the next day. As far as the pedicure... I've never had a pedicure come off in 2 days and start chipping. I spent well over a $100 for the worse Mani/pedi I have ever had. I thought I would try a place close to where we were staying to save time and that was a huge mistake. Should have just stuck to the regular lady I go to. I called the salon to see if they can do a complimentary manicure since everything started chipping and peeling and next day and there answer was no. The worst customer service hands down at a nail salon. Save your money and go elsewhere. Even with the new management this place is rediculous. The manager Helan was useless in helping us resolve the problem. This place has horrible customer service and they don't know how to put on nail polish and do their job. I would never go back and I urge you to save your money! Also, there was a nasty sewage smell that you could smell from the water supply that was coming into the pedicure basin. This was my second time at the salon. The first time I went there, Christine had done my nails. I was very happy. The older gentleman was also very courteous - he gave me a water bottle and made me feel welcome. The reason I'm giving them a 3 star is because this time when I went there with my mother, there was another Asian woman who was really mean. I got 5 colors for my mom and I to choose from so that she can put it on but she shouted at us and said only one color. I asked her to try the two on and I'll put the rest away. She said, you try it - not my job. She was so mean to my mom and I so we decided to leave. She said go. The elder gentleman was trying to moderate but it was too late. We left. I visited this place on a whim - I needed some time to myself and my toes and feet were a mess. Lyn took great care of me. She recommended the paraffin treatment, which I tried, and my feet came out feeling so soft and smooth. She also was very careful with my pedicure and is overall a great conversationalist.
