New business in Town we have passed by a few times and finally stopped for lunch. Very simple menu of burgers and fries. They claim never frozen meat and talo used to cook fries. Decor is very simple and clean with booths around walls, open 2 top and 4 top tables and an elevated counter at exterior windows. There is some seating outside. We ordered a single patty and a doulble patty combo. Order came out in good time, nice and hot. Burgers come with typical vegie fixin's. Patties are good in size and everything tasted good. Staff were friendly. Value is so,so. Our check came to $25 for a single burger, a double burger, one fry and one refillable soda.

Reminded me of in n out burger and there was outdoor seating. Very decent end cheap burger joint.

Going to have to real about this place, it's trying to occupy a space that it just isn't competing with. The burger is alright, not a lot of flavor but not bad. Not a lot of options either, lettuce tomato and onions plus sauce are it. We also got the chicken sandwich and spicy chicken sandwich. Chicken sandwich didn't have a lot of flavor either, spicy chicken sandwich had decent taste but amounted to basically a large chicken tender. Fries could have been fried more, not memorable either. Only available sauces are ketchup and homemade ranch and 123 sauce. Has a vibe kind of like Cali burger on Hillsborough but doesn't come close.

The drive through line was long and the burger was cold. It was also expensive, so all together it was a bummer experience.

Hamburger & fries were very good. Better than In n Out burgers, which I've had a lot of. I'd drive from chapel Hill to est their burgers.

I would get it again for sure. My friend got orange sorbet and loved it. The place was clean, the young lady was friendly and we enjoyed talking with her. I will return here!

Pricy, but comparable to similar shops. Check the mail for coupons. It's never too cold outside for ice cream in NC! I saw an ad for Scoop Dogz and decided to check it out. Even on a chilly November day, I was craving ice cream. This shop is located two doors down from Aversboro Restaurant. It's in a plaza with ample parking. The entrance is on the left and exit door on the right. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a welcoming employee. She smiled and asked if I wanted to try any of the flavors. She patiently waited as I looked through the flavors and menu options. The sundae suggestions sounded so good, particularly the ice cream and cookie dough combos. After much deliberation, I decided on two sundaes. Since they were out of some of the flavors I swapped the chocolate for peppermint and the caramel ice cream for butter pecan. The sundaes were delicious and well balanced. I especially loved the combination of edible cookie dough with ice cream. Not just small chunks but a whole scoop of cookie dough. Their flavors rotate so be sure to look at the display case rather than the printed menus. They also serve ice cream from Homeland creamery. The shop has a few seats inside along with a freezer stocked with pre-packed pints and a free to play Pac-Man game. Overall, we had a positive experience here and recommend this ice cream shop to others!

The ice cream is New Zealand style soft serve, which is jam packed with fruit. I tried the blueberry basil which was absolutely delicious. They also offer other more traditional style ice cream like cookies and cream. The nice little touch they add is putting biscoff cookie or other cookie with every scoop. The cute store is worth a peruse to look at cook books, plants, and other perfect giftables! And save some time to look at the farm animals. There's a herd of friendly alpacas, a coop of chickens (and a free roaming rooster) and even some goats. The animals are so cute and friendly! I will say the parking lots get kind of full, but there's definitely a good amount of spots. You might just need to be a little patient.

They have snacks but if you are hungry I would recommend grabbing a bite somewhere before heading here.

But there is absolutely nothing educational about it -- it's just an ice cream shop. They don't accept cash (legal tender), and there are no signs anywhere telling you that beforehand. They also won't let you sample flavors, so if you end up disliking what you ordered, too bad. Meanwhile, they had one employee working the register while five others just stood around. They're not pet friendly at all either -- no complimentary pup cups, just $1 for a tiny squirt of whipped cream in a cup. I ordered the cookie dough ice cream, which was advertised as cookie dough flavored ice cream with cookie dough chunks. What I got was basically plain vanilla ice cream with maybe three tiny pieces of cookie dough in the entire serving.
