Although signage indicates a large range of sandwiches for $6.48, they only offer 2 or 3 box lunches with a small half sandwich, cookie, a small amount of grapes and small side. The price is unpublished ("oh, we didn't get a chance to update our signage") but is $18 per box once rung up.They also charge (but don't divulge) $.50 per cup of tap water and $.25 (also not divulged) to add milk to an iced coffee order.

Skip it. Sorry to say this was the worst meal we had in the area. Had one of the daily sandwiches - The Madras - bread was rock solid and unfortunately too dry to eat. Husband had the chicken nuggets which were obviously a frozen product similar to McDonalds. He turned his nose up at the mac and cheese so honestly didn't even try it. We had a chocolate chip and an oatmeal raisin cookie which were just average. Very sweet and lacking salt. There are too many great dining options in the area to waste a meal here.

Beautiful entrance to the store - COVID style!

I usually don't give reviews on Yelp - but this place sure deserves one!! have been coming to Acadia my entire life and nowhere compares to 123. From the minute you walk in, you feel at ease with the beautifully painted chalkboard menus and coastal paintings. The staff is very friendly, eager and willing to help with anything. I've been eating here for years and the quality remains consistent, and the food delicious! 123 has done an amazing job pivoting with the pandemic, staying true to their farm-to-table values. Kudos to the kitchen for all their creations - my favorites being the kale Caesar, Santa Fe sandwich and family dinner rice bowls!! You will never be disappointed at this gem, there is truly something for everyone.

It's the kind of place that makes you feel good just being there. But the food matches the ambiance!

If you want quality food and whole, natural ingredients - this is a gem. Not only is the food good but the setting is simply picturesque and very comfortable. We had the tuna sandwich, a DELISH latte, a fancy egg pudding and could have chosen many more inviting looking foods. It blows everyone on Main Street away from my view - no comparison. Hopefully, others will step up their game too. This is a simple menu with wholesome, clean options. Wish I'd known about it earlier. Been buying some very average coffee elsewhere on the street...

It's a breakfast & lunch cafe that values using locally sourced, fresh ingredients. We stopped for lunch and ordered the Vegplant (V) and Bahn Mi (v) sandwiches. The Vegplant had an eggplant spread, roasted vegetables, and tabouleh on focaccia. The vegan Bahn Mi had tofu, pickled vegetables, greens, miso spread, and cilantro on a baguette. Both sandwiches were excellent and we ordered a couple of iced chais--they were house made and among the best in Maine. It's counter service, and the patio seating was just what we were looking for on a warm summer day in June. We went back the next morning for breakfast and found it to be a little trickier--according to the person behind the counter, the only vegan breakfast item was the hash brown. I had the yogurt parfait--it was as it was described on the menu and just okay--I generally prefer fresh fruit--it had a fruit preserve, which was just okay--maybe it needed more. The hash brown was made of shredded potatoes and was what you would expect. Overall, from a vegetarian/vegan perspective this is a solid 5 star lunch spot, and I love what they're doing here. I just wish they had a vegan option for breakfast.

Plus it's a beautiful area, so why not sit down for a little bit and enjoy a meal? While we waited for our table, we explored the area a little bit and also explored their gift shop. There's plenty to buy, and they even sell their jam and popover mix which we bought both to take home for family to try. Once seated, we actually had quite a wait before someone came to take our order as well then there was a long wait for our food to come out also. After a long day of hiking with a toddler and a baby, I instantly regretted choosing to stop for food here. This is definitely not a place to go after being tired from a long day of hiking or when youre hungry or when your babies are ready to call it a day. If I'm being honest, the food wasn't impressive either. It was just okay. The popovers are nothing to brag about. I have never had or heard of popovers before so I didn't know what to expect but I felt they were a bit burned? I also felt they could've given a little more butter and jam with them as well. We also ordered pasta (so the kids could eat too). Nothing fancy there. But we ended with the blueberry ice cream for dessert and we were happy with that at least. Jordan Pond house is definitely a place you'd stop by for the views and to enjoy for historical purposes. 100% a place for tourists. It's a place I'd try once just to say I did it since I was in Acadia and likely won't get to come back, but I wouldn't necessarily come here for the food itself.
