Huge portions!! Great for before or after hike. The seafood omelet had so much lobster and scallops. I don't know how it was only $20. All the food was great. No fresh juice or fancy coffees.

The service and food are very good. Great little spot right outside of the Acadia National Park. Very old hotel and restaurant with an accommodating staff. The crab cakes and salad were very good. The iced tea tasted like coffee and we couldn't drink it. Definitely worth popping in for a quick lunch.

I got the chicken cordon bleu to go with potatoes and asparagus. The meal total was $20 but the flavor was not good and it was not a traditional chicken cordon bleu. I was staying at Blackwoods Campground and they were close and offered to go, so that was nice. Parking is street only and a pain if they get busy.

We stayed in the Airbnb below the Lighthouse so I stopped in for lunch one afternoon. It's an old timey bar feel with friendly staff. The hours are odd especially towards the end of high season. The lunch menu and dinner menu vary drastically. They tell you up front if they are out of a menu item which happened when I visited. Their poor fryer also went out so that limited the menu some more. However, as long as you're flexible, you'll find something to eat. I got the lobster roll and it was good. They are known for their soups and chowders and homemade pie but I didn't try those this time around. Maybe next time.

This was a nice little find. Spending most of the day at the National Park, we were looking for a beer and sandwich. The park was not the spot for all that. If you blink you're gonna miss this place. The staff was attentive and knew the names of local patrons. The food was home made and the draft local beer was nice and cold. I ordered the crab cakes which were made with fresh crab and the Caesar salad had house made dressing. The interior was old food floors and seaside decor. Happy eating everyone!

Cute little restaurant. Clam chowder was excellent and the Reuben might be the best I've had

The service is attentive and friendly. I liked the wine selection and was happy to be able to order a glass of wine that paired well with my food. The crispy artichoke starter is a dish that is not to be missed. We ordered it on each visit. Amazing deep fried artichokes on top of a flavorful romesco sauce. Even the non-artichoke fans in our party loved them. We could have just made them the entree. I had the halibut for an entree, and it was one of the best fish entrees that I have ever had. The fish was pan seared perfectly, with a beurre blanc sauce and mushroom risotto on the side. My husband ordered the duck and declared that it also was delicious. I think that a lot of thought went into the way this food was planned and cooked. I appreciated that, and look forward to returning next summer.

Plus it's a beautiful area, so why not sit down for a little bit and enjoy a meal? While we waited for our table, we explored the area a little bit and also explored their gift shop. There's plenty to buy, and they even sell their jam and popover mix which we bought both to take home for family to try. Once seated, we actually had quite a wait before someone came to take our order as well then there was a long wait for our food to come out also. After a long day of hiking with a toddler and a baby, I instantly regretted choosing to stop for food here. This is definitely not a place to go after being tired from a long day of hiking or when youre hungry or when your babies are ready to call it a day. If I'm being honest, the food wasn't impressive either. It was just okay. The popovers are nothing to brag about. I have never had or heard of popovers before so I didn't know what to expect but I felt they were a bit burned? I also felt they could've given a little more butter and jam with them as well. We also ordered pasta (so the kids could eat too). Nothing fancy there. But we ended with the blueberry ice cream for dessert and we were happy with that at least. Jordan Pond house is definitely a place you'd stop by for the views and to enjoy for historical purposes. 100% a place for tourists. It's a place I'd try once just to say I did it since I was in Acadia and likely won't get to come back, but I wouldn't necessarily come here for the food itself.
