Recommend: Yes While visiting Alamogordo for a work trip, we were looking for a place to grab dinner and after quite a bit of Yelp searching we came across Just Pho You. I'll admit I was a little skeptical at first since there aren't a ton of dining options in the area and I had already had a disappointing experience at another restaurant earlier in the trip. As soon as we walked in though, my first impression changed. The place was very clean and organized, we were greeted right away, and seated quickly. Service was friendly and efficient from the start. I ordered a Thai tea and the egg rolls as an appetizer, while my coworker got the potstickers. Both came out quickly and were hot and fresh. They each came with dipping sauces, but there was an orange sauce on the table that reminded me of a spicy mayo and was really good with everything. For my meal, I ordered the ramen stir-fry, which was savory and flavorful with plenty of vegetables, protein, and a generous portion size. It definitely left me satisfied, and my coworker enjoyed his meal as well. Overall, it was a great, quick dinner experience - clean restaurant, friendly service, and good food. If you're ever in the area it's definitely worth checking out. read more

Restaurant didn't have green curry and tonkotsu but they were still on menus. Wish there were more of these options other than Pho. I ordered the pho and asked for extra chicken, but I did not get as much chicken as I would have liked. Extra protein is good! It's healthy and slows down blood sugar spikes. Got a tummy ache from the pho even though I ate it plain. My meal was also VERY pricey. $17 for the pho and we aren't even in Los Angeles or Seattle. My Thai tea was $6 with boba. Yes I tipped 18% - 20%. I will not be coming back personally, but if you like pho, you might just pay these prices if you can't make it to LC or El Paso. read more

I have been going to just pho you for years and enjoyed what I ordered and the service. The name changed to Fresh Pho and the food and service changed drastically for the worse. I ordered the Korean beef dish with rice and kimchi with the Vietnamese coffee. There was a lot of ice in the Vietnamese coffee and the beef dish was 80-90% fat not meat. I mentioned that and mentioned I would pay for partial an order some of the rolls I normally order and pay for them instead. A very thin Asian female which I had not seen before came out and told me to not come back again. My friend which arrived to eat with me heard it and mentioned that was rude! I ate a couple bites and had to take it out of my mouth and put in a napkin. I tried to eat a couple of bites and swallowed them but was disgusted with eating fat and not meat. A doctor friend of mine invited me their years ago and I began going there for years . I invited many others over the years also to eat there but as my friend noticed and experienced the rudeness the treatment and their not recognizing the fact of how horrible the meat was we will not ever return there again. Was it beef or something else??? The regular waitress that has been there for years treated me well and apologized with how I was treated even though she didn't do anything wrong. Two people witnessed the horrible and wrongful treatment I received only because I quietly and kindly explained the awful and lack of quality of the whatever it was that was on my plate in Alamogordo on White Sands. read more

Delicious. The spring rolls were light and satisfying. The Beef Pho was flavorful and hearty, I added some siraccha and a little soy sauce for a small kick of spice, it does come with sliced jalapeños in case you like it extra spicy. The spicy soup my husband ordered the Bun Bo Hue was packed with flavor and meat, it was very filling. If you don't like fish, I would skip that one because it had a slight fishy taste to it, probably due to fish sauce. The pot stickers were fried and had a nice crisp on the outside. My little daughter devoured them! The iced chai tea was sweet and delicious, it really curbed my sweet tooth and thirst. Everything was absolutely great at this restaurant! The food was delicious! The staff/waitress/cashier were all super friendly and greeted us with a smile. The prices are reasonable, and the restaurant was very clean and so were the bathrooms. They do close early, make sure you call or look up the hours so you don't make a wasted trip. Definitely try this place! read more

Upon entering the restaurant, I was able to smell the aromatic of the pho. The restaurant was cozy and clean. The server was friendly and soft spoken. It got busy towards the end of my meal, almost every table was sat, but she was maintained attentiveness to all her tables. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue. It was lacking in flavor. It tasted very bland and watered down. The presentation was great. There were lots of meat, but not all the meat that you would expect with Bun Bo Hue. I was given the herbs for Pho. I have eaten here three times and every single time was fantastic. Place is pretty basic inside but clean. The staff was very nice in service was quick and efficient . There are very options in Alamogordo and this was a happy surprise. Spicy beef soup was awesome. Katsu chicken was awesome, all of the appetizers we tried were very good. It doesn't look like much, but the quality of food was very good. If this was located somewhere else I would still say it was good but for Alamogordo, it's fantastic!!! read more

CAUTION! Get clarification on what you will be charged if you are asked about a choice on your dish. I was asked if I wanted stream or fried rice. I said fried. The cost of this upgrade was 6 dollars which the waitress never mentioned nor was it in the dish description on the menu. When I complained about the charge she said it was an upgrade that she mentioned then she told me I couldn't hear. Both which were not true. The upgrade was about half of the dish price and it was a side of rice. Be careful with their pricing. read more

I complained yesterday about quality of food at just pho you in Alamogordo NM The restaurants response was false and slanderous. We told the staff of our dissatisfaction with the food as soon as someone came to the table. Part of the problem. Poor service. Food was bland and inedible. We had maybe two bites from each plate. Never said anything about not paying. When offered ne plates we declined. You sent out 2 plates that were inedible so why would we think 2 more would be better. We spoke to you kindly, thanked for the offer. Went to register to pay. Was told by cashier that you comped the entrees. We paid and walked out. You lie when you say we refused to pay and ran out. We are70+yo. We don't run any where. Take the criticism and improve. Don't slander your guests. I left a 2star rating because I believe you can do better. You can tell the place is catering to a more American taste palette because the pho was saltier than expected and I was hoping to see basil leaves but there were none. Such a hidden gem! I won't lie, the cute name made me think it was more of a chain with average food, but that was not the case. We got the bulgogi beef and chicken wings. Still working out the bugs as a newly opened restaurant. Nice to see something different than a Mexican restaurant. They just started carry out, so ordered in person. Fast turnaround, but when I got home, opened container and food wasn't that appealing; very limited in vegetables (only 3 slices of cucumber.... (Strike 1) then too much meat (Strike 2) and the food was cold (Strike 3). To add a cherry on top -- the wait staff did not know how to give .75 cent change back. She could not decipher what a nickel, dime or Quarter was. I told her to not give me any change. We were disappointed, we eat Pho anywhere we can find it. The rolls were cold (the fried ones) the "fresh rolls" were not "fresh" . They pre-set the condiments (so they are dry) they are trying to pre-stage the ingredients so they might have been fresh the day before. But the lime was shriveled and dry, the sprouts were wilted and soft, etc etc. they are trying but they are giving up fresh for speed. I doubt we will go back. read more

Mom and I are Vegans. The owner (Lee, whose wife is the chef, and owner) came to our table and explained what items that they can make vegan. He was SO ACCOMMODATING. AND..very nice. They actually can make many of their items, vegan. The wait staff is very kind, and very attentive. (Shout out to skylar). For the icing on the cake, was that mom and I didnt get "salted ". Disappointing service and quality. Called 20 min ahead for a pickup order, waited 5 min on hold and then hung up. Called again, put on hold another 5 min and then just hung up. Finally arrived and made the order at the counter. Ordered at 1220, quoted 10 min wait for 1 large/1 small beef Pho ($35) and recieved at 1250. Host tried to make it up by upgrading my small Pho into a large which I appreciated. Upon unboxing, portions were smaller than expected with complete lack of herbs (only cilantro) in one box of noodles and small amount of meat in both cups.
