    Greek Omelette Chicken Gyro
    Jann D.

The diner was cozy and modern lookin and their servers were good. My boyfriend and I shared an order of the loaded French fries and it hit the spot! He said it could use more salt but I was content with it. He was the Greek omelette and unfortunately he did not like it much. He said it was bland, unseasoned, and overall mid. I had the Chicken Gyro and it was stuffed to the brim so a little hard to hold/eat to be honest but it was yummy. They did not skimp out on the sauce inside. Overall the place was a 3.5/4 and I would come back to try something else.

I ordered the Cajun Chicken wrap which comes with a cup of soup. The wrap was delicious well seasoned without being overly saucy or salty. The soup was tasty as well. The atmosphere is warm, the servers are courteous, and the prices are very reasonable

#7. Biscuits and Gravy with Egg

Food tastes good but the place is always freezing. Had to eat with winter coat on. Don't know if it improperly prepared or the freezing building but my biscuits and gravy with eggs were cold. Could have been the slow service. Oh and as a warning there is a group of old men that take over the place at 7a every Saturday. They are so loud you can't hear yourself think.

    Eggs benedict w/ hashbrowns

I'm always looking for a good breakfast spot and I'm glad to say that I've found another one! There's plenty of parking, which is always a plus and the interior is bright, clean and very new feeling. Tables/chairs are and spaced out in a way that's proportionate for the space, so it's fairly comfortable as well. Servers were all very friendly and did a nice job during a busy breakfast service. It wasn't packed, but there were more than a few tables being turned over, and they were able to handle the workload perfectly. The menu is fairly standard with lots of classic breakfast and lunch options. I opted for the eggs benedict with hashbrowns and a side of bacon. The eggs were perfectly poached, the hollandaise was creamy and flavorful and balanced very well w/ the ham and English muffin. The hashbrowns were nice and crispy, but not dry and the was of a good quality and crispy. Overall a very nice experience! There are a handful of spots in the area that are go-tos for weekend breakfast, and I'm sure we'll add this to the rotation!

Kids pancake breakfast! It had one more pancake and the toast was not included.

I looove this place! It used to be my go-to the morning after the bars to cure my hangover haha. Now I just don't go to the bar that often! I love that you can turn any omlette into a skillet. They are so great! I highly recommend getting one! The place is very bright and clean! There are tables in the center area and booths on the perimeter. The service is always great!

Fresh and fantastic! The veggies in our perfectly cooked omelette were popping with flavor! The sausage gravy was not out of a can and it was not too salty, like most breakfast spots. The service was friendly and very patient. This place is the cutest, updated and clean. The bathrooms are gorgeous! This will be our new go to spot for breakfast after working long hours at the hospital.

Pancakes, mushroom Swiss omelette, toast, not pictures coffee!

From the smiling staff, to the extensive breakfast and lunch menu to their warm and inviting atmosphere everything about this place is a gem. Come hungry because this isn't a place that skimps on the portions. Pancakes, omelets, sausage and their homemade bread is delicious. The side of pancakes is a meal itself. We enjoyed it all even though we couldn't finish it. They have an equally large lunch menu with Panini's, burgers, sandwiches and wraps. There is something for everyone here. We'll be back soon!

I wanted to go some place I haven't been before and this place popped up not to far from where I'm staying. Walking in, the place is clean with plenty of seating. I was greeted immediately and told to sit anywhere I liked. Fortunately, there wasn't a wait since it was still super early. Reviewing the menu, they have a great selection of breakfast and brunch items to choose from. I read online that they have chicken and waffles, but when I asked the waitress where it was at on the menu, she said it's not listed there and is an "off menu" item that could be prepared for me. After thinking about it, I decided that I was going to get an omlet instead. I got the greek omelet instead and let me tell you, the portions are huge! Food was absolutely delicious and I ate as much as I could. Service was fantastic and I didn't feel pressured to order anything that I wasn't comfortable with. Water and coffee were always full and my bill came in a timely manner. I will be returning when I'm on this side of town for a good solid breakfast. This place should be an example of how to do things correctly without over correcting or trying to hard. I love it here!

The Huevos Rancheros were packed with bold, fresh flavors and cooked perfectly. The Charmoula Chicken was incredibly juicy with just the right amount of spice and herbs. Easily one of the best diner burgers I've had--perfectly cooked, juicy, and loaded with flavor. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is quirky, welcoming, and exactly what you'd hope for from a "finer diner." The service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend!!!

It's got retro charm, great service, and a menu that is both classic and creative. What made it a great meal was that every food item was just so well prepared. I had their Green Eggs and Ham (poblano pesto and jack cheese scrambled eggs served with seared ham, spuds, and toast). My parents both ordered the Forager Rumble (mushrooms, caramelized onions, smoked gouda, and greens scrambled with eggs, served with spuds and toast), but my mom veganized it (with tofu and no cheese) and my stepdad egg white-d it. They make everything in house, down to their jams (the jam of the day was strawberry basil) and the hot sauces (they offer a range from mild to hot). I don't normally eat much of the toast served with breakfast plates, but with jam that good!? I ate that (well-buttered) toast! My green eggs and ham was a treat - retro, fun, and delicious. We also enjoyed a few cups of coffee each. On top of the great food, the service was great. The friendliest. This is just a charming spot for breakfast. I'd love to return!

I used to live nearby about 25 years ago and remember coming to a diner in this area for breakfast back then. Fast forward to today--this isn't the same place, but wow, it's absolutely amazing. Right away I loved the vibe. The chalkboards with handwritten menu items and daily specials on the walls give the place so much character and charm. It feels welcoming, classic, and cool all at the same time. The customer service was excellent from start to finish--friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I ordered the country breakfast, which came with biscuits and gravy, eggs, toast, potatoes, and sausage--everything was spot on. I'm usually not a big hash browns person, so I really appreciated that they offer an alternative to the shredded style. I went with the cubed breakfast potatoes (not sure what they officially call them), and they were so much better--crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Between the food, the service, and the overall atmosphere, this place completely won me over. I already know I'll be back next weekend. Oak Diner has a really, really good vibe, and I'm glad I rediscovered breakfast here. Highly recommend.

The restaurant entrance dining area was nearly empty so we were invited to sit wherever we were comfortable. The place is beautifully decorated with toasters, art and flowers. Very clean too! The staff we interacted with were friendly, unobtrusive and knowledgeable about menu options. Another plus. I ordered a "hair of the dog" Breakfast Shot with accompanying OJ and bacon. It was delicious! My full order "Salmon Toast" loaded with lox, tomato, red onion, capers and cream cheese was HUGE, and tasted great! The toasted bread was warm and crusty too. Know that the other half of that sandwich came home with me for second meal. Price point is reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food and beverage options. She responded that she already had, but I pointed out that there were still crumbs there. She seemed irritated, so I even offered to wipe it myself if she gave me the towel. She then asked me to show her where the crumbs were and wiped them off. Unfortunately, her attitude throughout the interaction was very rude and unprofessional. My sister then asked to speak with a manager. When the manager came over, the other ladies in our group also mentioned the waitress's attitude. Instead of addressing our concerns professionally, the general manager became defensive and stated that the waitress did not have a nasty attitude. He then told us that if we wanted to leave, we could leave because he was not going to be bothered with us. He took our menus and asked us to leave simply because we requested that the table be cleaned properly. I would love to see better service and customers treated with respect! Ms Cheryl W.
