5 stars every time! Staff is always so friendly and knowledgeable and professional. Food never ever misses! The bar was lively but calm and the dinner area is so nicely Dimmed! I get pork chops every time, even though everything sounds amazing

First visit to this 131 Main location, but same great service and great food that I found at the other location. Party of 2 was seated immediately upon arriving and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Deinks were excellent. Great experience, will be back.

Came here for dinner on a friday night. Had about a 40 minute wait without a reservation but that was expected. Once seated, our waiter was very nice and gave us a run down of the specials of the day. The menu had a little bit of everything. My family and i all enjoyed our meals. It was a little pricey, but it was a really nice spot for a dinner.

First off, this is my go to for lunch. There is plenty of parking here. I've never had an issue getting a table Even at lunchtime. I normally make reservations just to be on the safe side. I prefer a booth and I normally am able to get one. The staff meeting you at the door are always nice and friendly. They will seat you immediately. the waitstaff here are pretty awesome. The scene here is a little dark and moody and this is what I love about this restaurant... Very Dramatic! Now Food ‼ So, if this is your first time and you want to keep it light, I highly recommend the cob salad! This is the best salad because of the homemade croutons! The serving is pretty large and the dressings our house made and every single one of them are great. My favorite would be the Thai dressing, if I had to pick. I've also tried the burger and it is extremely HUGE and flavorful. You may not be able to eat it all in one setting. I've also had the blackened salmon with the pasta and it was perfectly cooked. I get mine at medium rare. TIMING~ The servants come out pretty fast. By the time you've had your first drink the food is already coming out. This is my honest review as I have been coming here for the past decade and I've never had an issue. You will be pleased. This is also the perfect spot for a first date, business meeting, anniversary and also a birthday.. P.S. Another reason why I am drawn to this particular location, is that 131 Main has maintained a clean place to eat. My number one pet peeve is a messy bathroom. I have yet to find any issues with this restaurant. The bathrooms are always clean Everything is fully stocked and servers are Super attentive, so I will continue to come back.

Dinner - excellent as ALWAYS! Service is consistently stellar. Crab cakes are THE BEST you will find anywhere. "Nothin but crabmeat" and a side of deviled eggs. Ribeye and peanut coleslaw is a favorite. Shrimp cocktail can't go wrong!!

Can I rate a place 4.5 stars? 131 was a great experience overall, but it wasn't until I got the check that I got a bit of disappointment- a bit of deception that makes me hesitant to return. And it's not the ambience. The place is beautiful on the inside. It seems wildly popular. Nice, cozy, intimate. A great place to take a date. Perhaps. And it's not the service. The wait staff did a great job with its duties - from describing the items on the menu to keeping up with refills to clearing empty plates. And it's not the food. The rainbow trout I ordered was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I don't know if I've ever eaten a better fish entree. So what then was the problem? One small deception. Not wanting the kale salad that the menu mentions as the side for the entree, I asked if I could substitute another side for it. "Absolutely!" my waiter responded confidently. All was good in the world at that point, right? Then the check arrived and I discovered I was being charged $2 extra for subbing the side dish. The waiter never mentioned it. The menu didn't mention an upcharge for making a substitute. Nothing. Anyhoo, I paid it. Everything else was top notch. However, trust is an important thing for me. And even in this seemingly small issue, I would have pause before considering returning.

131 was fantastic from beginning to end. Let's start with the service. Top notch from the time we sat till we left. Didn't wait long to order, server was attentive and consistently made sure things were going well. I decided to try the Rainbow Trout and substituted the kale and quinoa salad for white cheddar grits. The food arrived quickly and it was great. Fish was cooked well. Pulled easily from the skin yet was firm. Very well cooked and seasoned perfectly. The grits were also cooked well and very tasty. All in all...no complaints. This place can get busy fast so might want to make a reservation to be sure you get in. Looking forward to coming back and trying other menu items.

We went here for our anniversary and the service was great our server Nathaniel was very pleasant and attentive. The ambiance was nice and chill. We went on a Monday night. The food was good we got the corn bread for an appetizer and it came with honey. I got the ribs and it came with 2 sides. I got the asparagus and deviled eggs for the sides. My Fiance got the crab cake and it came with one side and he got the deviled eggs. He enjoyed his crab crake. He said everything f was seasoned very well. My rack of ribs were nice and tender. This place was nice and we will be coming back.

Food is amazing! Staff is so great! And you feel like you are in a high-end restaurant, which you are but without the cost! Great environment!

The absolute BEST VEGGIE BURGER ever .
    Arnie L.

It had been a little while since dining here. I was in the mood for a Veggie Burger, in fact, the BEST VEGGIE BURGER EVER! Which comes with Kale and Quinoa Salad. My wife had the Lightly Blackened Halibut Tacos. As always the Service is OVER THE TOP! When my I Iced Tea glass was nearly empty, a fresh one magically appeared. My only issue with 131 Main, and almost every other restaurant we dine at, is the cost of Iced Tea and Coffee. Yes the cost has increased but to charge $3.50 for a glass of Iced Tea is ridiculous. Many of the restaurants we eat at, especially at lunch, do not charge for it. I'm sure that at $1.25 for Iced Tea you'd still be profitable. Just my take on what I feel is an OVERCHARGE.

Classy, Delightful and Delicious restaurant ! Service is top notch! -- Group wait staff so you are never left waiting for a server. Food is excellent - all made in house . Smoked Salmon is the best in Charlotte ! Missing the Artichokes till Spring ! Did have the. jumbo grilled Asparagus- it was perfect, my husband's favorite is the Corn Bread which he devoured ! You have to try it ! Outstanding !

131 Main is my favorite place. I have celebrated two birthdays at this restaurant in ordered something different each time. This time I got the crabcakes and they were out of this world. The servers are always lovely and friendly and happy to make suggestions.

Really has the makings of a 5-star restaurant, but there were some off-putting things that got in the way. Menu is excellent. Lots of choices, your place mat is your menu until you order. Our server stuck to his order of march: drinks, appetizers, mains desserts. It was mostly a non-alcohol dinner, so the drinks were an odd mix of soda water and colored drinks with flags. Can't tell you about wine list or other prices. Order taking took awhile and we got through it. My son and I each had the Steak Frites ($39.70). Nice portions. Suggest you order meat cooked to a higher level of doneness as they tend to go light on cooking. I ordered medium and got almost rare. Son ordered medium well and got high medium. Truffle fries were plentiful and a bit too salty with the Kosher salt. A decent dinner. One Maxx Burger ($21.85) inhaled by the 16 year old male. Liked it. One Kid Chicken Tenders ($10.30) with three sides. She liked the mashed potatoes and the chicken. One Chicken Picatta ($25.50), a special. Son paid the bill, I don't have receipt. Wife liked the chicken and the accompanying spaghetti with capers was very good. She took home a portion good for lunch the next day. One Pappardelle Bolognese ($29.35) well enjoyed by granddaughter. One California Chicken Sandwich ($20.70). Daughter-in-law ate half of it. Not a big eater. I did not like the finished meal plates snapped up one at a time. We were talking and it took awhile. Suggest you tell your waiters/bussers to wait until everyone is done, to ask if it is OK to take the plates and get it done. The slow eaters are under the gun to hurry up...and we, after dinner, thought that Burton's wanted diners to move quickly through their meals and clear out for other guests. This was evident when our server, who was not very well-versed, asked for dessert orders. We said no desserts. He left the table for a rather long time and returned, again asking for dessert orders. Obviously he was stymied not having that item accomplished. He left. Again, after quite a pause, we flagged another server down and asked for our bill. So, great menu and decent offerings, but we felt rushed. We all agreed, over ice cream bought at another vendor. Will be back. Burton's has a lot going for it, so will be worth your time, effort and money.

The food is over the moon delicious with plenty of options and reasonable serving sizes. Even with the slightly high price point, it is well worth every penny. And they take allergies SO seriously! Literally went through a bunch of ingredients to find what would and wouldn't be dairy-allergy safe. Atmosphere is fun but cozy, too. 100% recommend! In-depth: Postino has quickly become one of my favorite places in the CLT area after my 10/10 experience here. To start, the food. My word, it's amazing! Everything my friend and I tried was delicious. The bruschetta is 100% worth trying (the spinach artichoke one is my favorite), and the west coaster panini + romaine salad was tasty at every bite. Their wine is also good quality, with a decent-sized portion poured. Allergy safety is a major thing for them, too. Our server (Lee = the best waitress!) and her manager looked through their bread and ingredients for about 30 minutes to confirm what was and wasn't dairy safe (I asked how dairy allergies are handled for when I bring my husband next time). They also had quite a few gluten-free options, too. The manager explained that she wants people to be able to just come in and relax for a few hours without worrying if they'll get sick, which I truly, truly appreciate. Lee shared a similar sentiment, which was amazing. Now price... Yes, it is a *bit* pricey, but it is well worth it. Nothing felt lacking as far as flavor goes, and the allergy safety is a huge thing. This is one of the few places I felt my sandwich and salad were worth every penny, even if it was $17. Also, their rewards program is great. I got a free bruschetta board, and they offer several other perks. Make sure to sign up before or while dining there to get some good deals! In addition to their sincere care for allergy safety, the service is fantastic all around. They do group service, meaning you'll have several servers, and they encourage you to grab anyone if you have questions. This takes the pressure off of waiting for one server to walk by and really helped me relax. And the atmosphere? I could stay there all day! It's a really fun vibe, but the lighting and seating are very cozy. Overall, I've already recommended this place to 5+ people and will be returning soon

The most memorable was the whipped feta. OMG. The Ambiance was the only thing I feel could use some tuning as there's not enough sound deadening to make the music out? I know the kitchen staff and chefs were bussing their butts to get these beautiful plates out, introduce their dishes while serving the main dining room during restaurant week!!! Everything was delicious, thanks to chef Kevin (Stonecrest) and Jeremy (Kingsley). I believe it came down to a tie with chef Jeremy taking home the win by most overall points. But the real winners were myself and my fellow diners as we had to request to go boxes by the 3rd round as the portions were not only delicious but generous. Before I get into the food coma portion of this review, I want to set the tone…read more I'm a big believer in giving restaurants real, honest feedback. Not Yelp-warrior nonsense. Actual constructive feedback. This industry is brutal. No one opens a restaurant hoping to disappoint people. I also live by the phrase "don't knock it until you've tried it." If a first visit doesn't hit my expectations, I'll give a place one more shot before forming a solid opinion. That feels fair to me. Some may disagree. To each their own. This is where Napa comes in. I admin a very large, very active, highly curated Charlotte Facebook group called Charlotte Foodies. Napa kept popping up in posts with glowing praise. A couple of friends and I were indecisive on where to eat one night and made a last-minute call to check it out. Our first visit, if I'm being honest, was a letdown. The dishes were beautifully plated and the service was wonderful, but the flavors felt dull. Safe. Muted. We left disappointed. I considered writing about it but stopped myself. One visit isn't a verdict. We didn't reach out to management because we hoped it was just an off night and planned to give them another shot. Then the universe did its thing. I connected with someone closer to Napa's management team. After hearing about my experience, they asked for honest feedback. I gave it. No sugarcoating. Just constructive criticism. To their credit, management was receptive and invited me back to try their newly launched menu to show that what I experienced was not their standard. I'm really glad I went back. Because Napa at Stonecrest absolutely redeemed themselves. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Warm woods, deep green banquettes, soft lighting, and oversized fabric pendant lights that somehow make everyone look better than when they walked in. Cozy without being cramped and energetic without being loud. You sit down and instantly feel relaxed. This time around, we told our server to let the GM drive and bring out what best showcases Napa right now. Risky move. Correct move. We started with the bacon flatbread. Soft but sturdy crust that holds up to the toppings, a respectable amount of mozzarella, big bacon lardons that actually taste like bacon, pearl onions that stay sweet and restrained, and the perfect amount of hot honey for heat and balance. Nothing overpowered anything else. The ahi tuna tartare was one of the better versions I've had in Charlotte. Huge portion for the value with clean, precise knife work. The avocado purée with citrus vinaigrette complemented the chilled tuna without overpowering it. The house-fried wonton chips were light and not greasy. We ran out of chips and I shamelessly spooned the remaining tuna straight into my mouth. The herb whipped goat cheese nailed it. We've tried a lot of whipped cheese dips around town and many miss the mark. This one was creamy, thick, and balanced, not soupy or overworked. The herbs, hot honey, and spiced almonds all played nicely together, and the crispy crostini were the perfect vehicle. Easily shareable for a table of three and would make a great weekday lunch paired with the tuna tartare. For entrées, the crusted halibut was perfectly seasoned with a beautiful crust. It almost ate like a pan-seared chicken breast until it flaked and reminded you it was fish. Creamy risotto underneath gave sophisticated mac-and-cheese vibes, with blistered pearl onions, roasted carrots, and a drizzle of olive oil tying it all together. The mushroom sugo pappardelle, which is gluten-free and vegetarian, was the most talked-about dish of the night. Deep, layered flavor with incredible balance. The marsala sauce had real depth and a gentle peppery warmth. One of my dining partners normally avoids mushrooms and said he would absolutely order this again and recommend it. The Napa fried chicken delivered. Perfectly crispy but still light, juicy inside with just the right seasoning. Smooth garlic mashed potatoes underneath and a tasso gravy that was salty, savory, and slightly spicy. It gave elevated chicken cordon bleu vibes without the cheese. The charred broccolini was excellent on its own but even better dragged through the gravy. Dessert damage was done. All hits. No filler. The flourless three-layer chocolate mousse cake was my favorite. No question. Each layer brought a different deep chocolate texture, and the handmade whipped cream kept it from feeling heavy. Please give me another one to take home so I can maintain an emergency stash. The crème brûlée with candied pecans had a perfect crack on the sugar top, subtle sweetness underneath, silky custard, and that extra sweet crunch from the pecans. Classic and executed exactly how it should be. The apple caramel cheesecake is the cheesecake I dream about. New York-style. Ultra-creamy, no grit, no nonsense. The apple tasted like real fruit, the caramel didn't hijack the plate, and there was just enough crust to balance everything. If cheesecake is your thing, pa

We started with the pimento cheese appetizer and the pimento is very flavorful and served with toasted bread that I think is a wheat sourdough. I ordered the rotisserie pork, and the rest of the table ordered the cavetelli with shrimp, the 1/2 rotisserie BBQ chicken, and shrimp with an herbed sauce. We also got roasted beets and the cauliflower for sides. The Brussels aren't on the menu during the summer but the cauliflower was amazing. They were dressed with a tangy anchovy like pesto and Parmesan. Unique and so tasty. I've seen a couple negative reviews about portion size and cookery, but each of our meals were prepared exceptionally well and we were full when we left. In addition, the service was prompt and friendly and her recommendations were spot on. It was a little hot to sit outside, but the inside was bustling and tables were enjoying their evening. When I go to a Noble's restaurant, I know I'm going to get fantastic food, good service and have an enjoyable time and this visit was no different

Seating Staff was very nice and took us to our seats in a booth right away. It was already very busy at 5p on a Friday, with great weather. I've been to many of the Noble restaurants around Charlotte but this was my first time at a Roosters and found it to be a great experience overall. Our server was Melissa, a true professional, personable, knowledgable and available for questions and guidance on the menu. Susan had the NC shrimp, I had the Trout we shared the Okra appetizer and Anson Mill Grits and Carolina Gold Rice as our sides. It was very LOUD, that's the only down side to our experience. The bar area is VERY large so it was livley on a Friday evening. We were there to see String Cheese Incident at the Amp. The food quality was top tier! Everything was just delicious, well presented, nice size portions and maybe just a little on the pricey side but expected for the location and access to the AMP. Parking can be a challenge, the close in lots are all pay using an App but I found the Boyle Garage a block away was FREE. Melissa said there is a 'private dining room' that can be reserved in the back of the main dining room. However at times when it's not reserved you can request seating there where it's much quieter! They have very nice covered patio and live music on Wed evenings. I will be returning for certain and will ALWAYS ask for Melissa!
