I now go every few weeks for different craft beers and other "necessities" and always find it to be very well stocked, clean, and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The best part about Total Discount - they let you do mix-six packs! From what I have found, they are one of the remaining stores in the area that allow this. I highly recommend them for anything you may need liquor wise and if you are into different craft beers, this is hands down the only place to go in Carroll County. Side note - no one has ever asked or tried to make a copy of my license there. My feeling of this story is that the cashier probably wanted to SCAN the barcode on the back of the ID. That's not for creating a database as the store is strictly prohibited from doing that by law unless the customer gives consent. Maryland DOES HIGHLY RECOMMEND that each store scan all IDs with liquor sales to ensure the ID isn't fake. Many stores have a policy to do this, due to State and Local pressure. Certainly you can't hold the store accountable for this.
