No cliques here. The owner greeted me immediately with a hug. It was about 7Pm and this place was packed. The bartender immediately asked what I wanted to drink and within a minute a tall glass was sitting in front of me. The chefs were working so hard fixing nonstop orders of fish, fries, burgers, and tater tots for the most part. They were moving like a conveyor belt with the orders. From the time I arrived, until I left, not one order was messed up. All the staff are pretty friendly and just awesome overall. Don't expect long conversations if you're looking for liquor paid psychiatrist work while Friday fish orders are being filled. I had the baked cod (was always my favorite) and the first time the walleye with the broccoli crunch and tater tots. Walleye reminds me of catfish. Omg, everything was a 100 out of a 10 to be honest. Coming out of a dive tavern, yes. Everything had the right crunch or the perfect flakiness. Loved it. Friday Fishfry is the bomb here in my opinion. They do have a pool table, jukebox, and a couple of TVs.

The interior is an old house basement with living room and all! A few televisions to watch the games along with a $.25 pool table and Pull tab dispenser! I have yet to have the Friday Night Fish Fry but have several friends that constantly tell me it is the best in the area! Looking forward to trying it out soon!

We came with a party of 8 on a perfect night to sit outside on their huge patio right on the water--the atmosphere cannot be beat! While the setting was great, the GF/allergy experience could use a little improvement. When I asked the server which drinks were gluten-free, she wasn't super knowledgeable, though she did make an effort to confirm the items for me. I ended up ordering a strawberry margarita. There also weren't any appetizer options that were both gluten-free and vegetarian, so I went straight to the entree. I ordered the BLT with mayo and cheddar cheese on a gluten-free bun. The server did clarify that they do not have a dedicated fryer for the fries, so I opted for a side of fruit instead to avoid cross-contamination. The food itself was really good--honestly, you couldn't even tell the bun was gluten-free! Overall, it's a beautiful spot with good food, but I really wish they had a dedicated fryer, more GF options, and the staff a bit more educated on cross-contamination and ingredients.

Amazingly after changing hands several times the quality and consistency remains. The rib eye rocks and baked potato with a 1/8 pound shard of butter inside is the heart attack you want. Reservations were strongly suggested and we made them a few weeks in advance for a Saturday evening. It is located in a historic building, which is a preserved museum styled exactly as they were over a century ago. When you walk in you are in the bar area it is a large classic bar area separate from the dining section. We were seated and greeted by our server. She asked if we have been there before and when we told her we hadn't she explained the menu and provided recommendations. We started with drinks, my husband had a NA Beer and I had an Amaretto Stone Sour, prepared perfectly. Bread and crackers were provided and my husband had the Cream of Lobster Soup. It was a cream-based soup, and rich in flavor. A salad is included and comes with three homemade dressings. All were very good and it was recommended to try the roquefort on our filet, and it added a savory flavor to the steak. We each had the Filet Mignon accompanied with a large baked potato. The filet was tender. Our server made our celebration extra special by surprising us with a complimentary slice of chocolate cake. When I commented it how good it was, she shared it was from Pepperidge farm...lol. Overall, a true supper club experience.
