It's a fun and classy speakeasy inside of Tin Man on George Dieter. They keep their location hidden on social media...I guess because it's a speakeasy? I think the concept is cute and fun. I almost felt like I wasn't in El Paso anymore! They have cute Japanese knick knacks and decor. There's only two tables and a small bar area. This is probably why it's hard to get a reservation. You can make a reservation by messaging them on Facebook or Instagram. If they don't get back to you, give them a call at Tin Man. They're open Thursday-Saturday from 7pm to 2 am and Sundays from 2-9 pm. Before Origami Sake Bar, I've only had sake a couple of times straight and...it was super strong. It almost knocked me out of my seat! This is coming from a lady who could drink Tequila like water. Those days are long gone btw. However, this sake bar changed those previous experiences for me. Why? Because they offer a combination of sweet and strong drinks. I had to have a sweet drink so I went with the Grogu. Forgive me, I can't remember what exactly was in it. If you like boba tea, this is the drink for you. It had a lot of boba balls in it. The Yoda stein holds a lot of drink and it stays cold. I was good with just this one drink. FYI: The drinks are not happy hour prices. My tab was $17 and change for one drink. I almost asked for a growler of Sangria from Tin Man instead. I'm not saying the drink was bad because it wasn't. I'm sure I was paying for the novelty of the stein and bar. The place doesn't offer any food. You can eat before or after...or bring your own. Sake it to me El Paso! Yes... there's a hidden Sake bar speakeasy in El Paso, and it's gorgeous, along with my girlfriends that came out to check it out with me. It was a bit difficult to get an RSVP, I messaged them thru their FB page, but they didn't respond so I ended up calling the location which was Tin Man and they got me connected to RSVP. After that they were super responsive and gracious. We ended up having 8 ladies show up but at different times and they were nice enough to let us stay until the next reservation showed up at 10pm. We had a great time, drinks were strong and unique. Only things I would recommend to change are getting a better menu QR, it made you download the menu instead of just showing you, and not mixing the popping boba and regular boba in the drinks as it's a HUGE choking hazard, especially when drinking alcohol. I would definitely recommend this place for a cute night out or date night. They let you bring outside food in and we brought Riva's carne asada fries and nachos. If you're reading any of my El Paso posts, it seems like everything is right down the street from my hotel. But I digress. So I was super excited to go to this amazing little cigar lounge and bar. When you first enter you are greeted with a very warm and inviting interior, big glass case with all of the cigar accoutrement you could want. Go up to the front counter, if you're going to stay and go upstairs to the lounge which has a full bar, you need to drop off a credit card at the front desk and start a tap. You can put cigars and drinks and what not on there. The humidor is really good sized, tons of brands that I had never heard of before... In fact, the only brand that I had heard of that They carried was Fonseca, which is a damn good cigar in its own right, but I wanted to try something different. After going through the selection, I finally found one that looked good based on the owner's recommendation. One cool thing about this place is the owner is not afraid to sit and talk with you about cigars. We probably had a good 25-minute conversation about different brands and how the market has changed over the years. My friends finally arrived and so we headed upstairs to the lounge. It's a really nice and comfortable leather chair vibe with a full bar, so we grabbed a bourbon, and sat down to enjoy our smokes. We ended up being there for over 3 hours, as it was just such a cool laid-back place to hang out. Lot of people came and went while we were there and the staff was very kind and courteous to them. It definitely made for a fun and enjoying environment Bottom line? If you are looking for a good cigar lounge that also incorporates a full bar you could do no better than to check out this place when you are in El Paso!

They apologized because I apparently visited while they were awaiting restocking, but the wine selection was so limited I had cocktails and beer instead. Those were good. The menu was also on the small side, although my grilled cheese was tasty. Service was great, friendly, strong on water refills and check-ins, so four stars for everything else. Nice bright patio and dark cozy interior give two very different ambiances depending on what you prefer! Good environment for a date night or getting together with a small group of friends.

If I remember correctly, I entered El Paso on a Monday or a Tuesday, and The Reagan was super quiet. I was informed (by more than one party) that it's packed on the weekends. That makes sense. This place has a speakeasy vibe but with an almost classy sensual undertone. It's definitely unique. I had an Old Fashioned after a long drive from San Antonio. I thought I was celebrating after a poker room in SA just made a verbal agreement with me for good money after a three-hour conversation with the owner. However, he was apparently upset I posted a video from another club in SA that was 40-minutes away and only runs one game. He was also afraid to tell me this and a coward. Solution would have been: "Can you please take that video down?" Whatever, dude. Part of reason that business won't last. A business should be run with honesty, respect, and transparency. Anyway ... at The Reagan, a biker dude came in and he was a singer in Germany because he met his German wife in the US when she was watching one of his shows and introduced herself. He was about to go back to Germany but heard good things about The Reagan so drove an hour on his bike to see it the day before he left. And he was impressed. We talked for about an hour about many things. If you visit El Paso, The Regan is a must! It's like being in a movie. Which movie? Maybe a mix between a 007 movie and Boogie Nights.

Well I recently paid them a visit again and they did not disappoint, we were immediately greeted by a friendly waitress and ordered some non alcoholic drinks. Service was fast and she checked on us often. Although this is more of a bar (with a kitchen), it's a great spot to drop in for a quick bite to eat even if you're not having a drink. Rolled tacos and fries did the job for us, the tacos were not soggy and the sauces were banging! Ambience wise, it is a bar so it is a little darker inside with music playing at a moderate level but not so loud you can't hear yourself talk. This was in the late afternoon so I imagine at night it's a bit more lively. They also have lots of big screen TVs for your sports enjoyment. FYI When I first visited this spot, some relatives told me to avoid the area and all bars including this one, well I'm happy to say they were very wrong.
